Way way way way way way way way way better than most bands that people know about or regularly listen too. Thats why a ridiculously amazing performance such as this, thats been up on youtube for over a decade, has under 100k views... this should have millions. Lets go people... anyone who loves music cant disagree with me. Miss you GD. The Hip Club
Saw them in Manchester (UK) in December 2009 in a room that holds about 200, and had a bar in the room. The Hundredth Meridian was an epic jam, with an equally epic Gord rant. So creative.
I only relly got into the hip like a year ago (my dads a big rock fan) so when I found out their last concert was 5 years ago I was a little disappointed.
This is one of those band's that could play to 40 people and still act like their playing to 4,000. Wish they had drove to Tuscaloosa to do a concert, but that's life.
Remember hearing Gord tell a story about playing in Montana I believe. Fewer than 10 people showed up. They just ended up having a party and they were the house band. Your comment is spot on.
One of the best hip videos out there to describe why one saw the band so many times. Definitely in my personal top 3 and I don’t care if that’s just me. Lol.

I don't think you need to worry about views, Gord was one of a kind and somehow I feel like he did exactly what he wanted and no recognition necessary
Gord's vessel has moved on, but his music, his poetry and his unhinged wild-man antics will be with us forever. Thanks, Gord
yes, thank you.
i absolutely regret the several times i put off seeing them live before Gord got sick. He was such a damn decent human being

Nothing will ever touch the final tour for raw gritty Hip .. but this concert has to be the boys at their captured best, in my humble opinion
The more I've learned about the hip, they've always been good live, but yeah the 09 era was great.

or 40,000. or 400,000. They simply do not chintz on their shows!

They could play a venue of 500,000 and still make it seem like they were in your living room. Fixed it for you. 😝
How good is this?? Wow!!
impossibly good
Craig Thompson out of one to ten it’s an eleven.
03:50. Sometimes there's not enough attention on what a great Jam band the Hip are. I could listen to them jam out a tune like this for an hour
Gord playing around with his handkerchief was mindfuckingly funny. He gave me one. I still have it safely tucked away.
i laughed my ass off when he started naming everybody HAHAHAHAHA
They will be missed. Unfortunatley i missed the live event on tv on the 20th

ROCK & ROLL MAN
Mes Tabarnack... Je vous aimes...
AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Now this is The Gord I wish had showed up in Edmonton @ the Jubilee. He was rather "sedate" that night. Still sounded great, but low keyed.
Any band that uses the word "enormity" correctly (it has nothing to do with size) is OK with me.
I remember Hengelo
love p!aying live
where the great GAMES began!!!
Better than any band ever
absolutely correct. best to ever or ever will exist
Anyone wish for a pure audio version of this?
If ever a dance off no beats Gord.

Nobody can strut like Gord can.

Dear Family: Get Ry Cooder to sing my eulogy.

I wonder if his brain cancer had anything to do with his performances
