I loved each and every memory you drew. I enjoy listening to your voice, along with always coming away with ideas and answers. I truly hope you do indeed manage to ignore the people who make nasty comments. If the comments are truly nasty, I would simply block that person from ever commenting again. There is constructive criticism, then there is just plain nasty. Thanks for sharing your memories Susan ❤
Thanks so much for sharing. You are very creative. I would be very proud of that book if it were mine. I have just started a watercolor/sketch book. I only have about 6 or 7 pages so far. Thanks for the ideas on how to do this !
Fun share👍 there’s some brand of journal, forgot name, that has sketching paper between water color pages. Lately I’ve been cutting up an over stock of Canson 12” X 18” for practice or pre-sew cut paper together as journals. Journals, I bang a nail threw the folded pages then loosely stitch with linen(water strong). Haven’t gotten into covering journals yet.
@@SusanMonroeArt wish had started ages ago! Learned so much just drawing a simple maple tree -flower, helicopter, then leaf this spring. Makes us observant.
Lovely sketches and paintings. When did you first start? I thought you had been doing this for many years. When you sketch people, like the starbucks crew, do you take a reference picture? I love the first one you showed of art supplies. I love art supplies and I love the bright colors. I also loved the fish. The colors were beautiful. The stone tower is great too. I thought your dum dum was great. Maybe go back and add a bunch of them in various colors?
I’m so glad you liked my sketchbook. I have been doing art, mostly watercolors, for my whole life; but I got caught in the trap of tracing and using grids for most of my drawings, so my drawing skills have been lacking. I’m trying to get better by drawing every day. You’re never too old to improve! 😊

Good for you!! Keep it up! ❤️
Thank you so much for sharing. It’s wonderful and your fears were unfounded. BTW, I see more Tom Cruise than Brad Pitt in your husband.
😂😂😂 It’s really a toss-up between the two! 😛

@@SusanMonroeArt I also loved your daffodil painting/drawing that you did recently. I think you are great at illustrating.
