How to Find Time to Paint with a Mini Watercolor Studio
I’ve always been fascinated with ‘glass painting.
Thank you for your descriptive tutorial! Being new at watercolor could you please do a tutorial on how to use masking fluid and what to use to remove.
Great work, this is just amazing.
Excellent , just found the music beautiful but annoying! Thank you
Fun to watch the glass appear as you painted. I also liked the way you painted in sections. 😊
Nice
I love this and hope to be able to make a quality painting one day! I was just wondering, since you didn't start at the very beginning, if you sketched the jar with a pencil? I imagine so...after that, you painted highlights? Just wondering about the parts that aren't in the video because for me, I need to know ALL the steps in order to process it! Thanks!
Thank you for this tutorial! What is the size of paper here, and the dimensions of this piece of gator board?
Beautiful! I do like the darker background. I've never painted glass, and am a beginner, but so want to practice these techniques. Thank you for a great tutorial.
😊😊😊❤
My late husband was a draftsman an I've had some of his ruling pens tucked away as keepsakes. Now they're moving to my watercolor box!🎉
This is a great and concise video, you have a pleasant voice as well, which helps a lot. I’m about to set up my own altoids paint set!
Hi I'm a JW from Korea. I love your drawing and want to try sometime! Can you please let me know what was the pen you drew a line before painting
That’s actually pretty cool
Thats very beautiful and creative!❤🕊
thank you Susan for sharing your skills, absolutely amazing, beautifully done!
Thank you Susan for the easy to follow podcast about the ruling pen. A lady on a water colour channel used one for thin lines but didn’t show us. So thank you very much for this 🙌
Hi Susan! Great video and a lovely painting! May I suggest one thing? Please do not use music in the background. I know everybody does it, but it is so refreshingly different if someone not following everybody and does it right. Music on the background is basically a sound pollution, especially in the context of our everyday lifes where every day is saturated with sound pollution and unnecessry information. Thank you!
Or at very least only use music, very softly in background, when there is a long stretch of nothing being said.
Amazing! I bought a ruling pen last year but it’s never worked like that. I’ll give it another try. However the one I have doesn’t have the curved tip on the one side like yours does. First video I’ve seen of yours, now subscribed to your channel. Thank you so much.
I have set of antique ruling pens that is almost identical to yours! I'll be using them for applying masking fluid, thanks!
Thanks for this really useful tutorial. I've been struggling with my ruling pen for ages, and now I know how I should be doing it!
Thank you for tor teaching. Great info
Beautiful painting. Just subscribed. 🖌🖊📝
Brilliant! I have a ruling pen and never knew how to use it! I have masking fluid and it always puddles wrong, even with a skinny tip. Now I'm going to give your method a shot! Thank you.
Just beautiful ❤
Beautiful and so interesting 🇨🇦
I think you did a fantastic job in explaining how to paint this jar!
absolute game changer for me, thank you so much for sharing this
Damn thats good! Earned a new sub :]
So cute
Thank you so much! This shotgun house is so much fun!
Loved your glass tutorial, and had so much fun trying to do it. Thank you!

That a good drawing
Lovely work so very well done.
I had no idea this has been so helpful!!
Love learning along with John
As you are teaching John to draw, you are also teaching Jackie to draw! Thank you so much for this!
I love it! Thanks for watching!
great video, exactly what I needed
Thank for watching!
Bring Patrick back!
Love this!
A few beginner mistakes I made were, using a small hard rubber roller that left marks on my painting, getting the acrylic medium on the front of the painting, and having the acrylic medium start drying, before I placed the painting on it. Also, rubbing to vigorously when applying the wax, and smearing some pencil marks. My solutions are... Got a wider roller made for the purpose, make sure you have enough wet paper towels to wipe up any/all stray glue, and spray mist the acrylic medium, if it is drying to fast. I like your idea of using soft cloth to apply the wax. Thanks for the wonderful video.
This video is impressive and detailed oriented. I learned SO much from watching you. Glad I met you.
Thank you so much! This is an extremely well thought out and informative tutorial.
For solid second when the video started I thought you were going to give that fish a butt chin like Peter Griffin
So pretty much just a sped up video of you painting. How on earth is this a teaching video to instruct on technique? How can one "learn" anything from this.
