I just got my first sketchbook! There are just scribbles and a little bit of planing in it right now, but I'm still exited about it (I'm drawing for around 7-8 years now)

My style is literally scruffily drawing women, using copic markers to make their face a strange colour (green or orange is my go- to) and add tons of detail to make it look cool. That’s why nobody looks in my sketchbook because everyone I showed said it’s hella ugly. It’s my style and I like it. It is creative and unique
Maybe you should do a video where your dog chooses your art supplies? So you would lay down supplies Like paint, pens, pencils etc. And see what he chooses and then lay down individual supplies E.g lay down individual pencils (space invetween) or pens or paints. Get him to pick 3 and see if you can use them And then draw some art revolving around your dog. DOGGO NEEDS MORE SCREEN TIME!

I honestly have been drawing since the beginning but only got into it for real in like 7th grade (I’m in late 8th grade now) and I’m still trying to find my art style sksksk my only tip is to watch Rin’s developing art style video and how I sketch video

I have liked drawing in elementary school but then stopped a little bit, started again in 7th grade. Now in 8th grade. I actually have a style somewhat. It's inspired by pantless pajamas, kacey golden and cypherden
I wish I could finish a whole sketchbook. I have so many sketchbooks that are unfinished and then every time I walk into Hobby Lobby or Michaels my mind is literally like, "We need another sketchbook."
there's a sketch book I really like I think is canson mixed media but last I checked they were at Walmart for like 4 monys but I live in Idaho so. . . edit: they have a blue cover with a huge XL on it 😀👍👍
I do think the illo is awesome, though I haven't used one just yet, but I hear great things about it & of course Rin has demonstrated how nice it is with all the lovely works she's done in hers. I contemplated the illo, I ended up getting moleskine & RENDR & handbook. I have a sketchbook addiction. I really plan to try the illo sometime soon. But have to give the wallets a short break after Christmas & Valentine's Day LOL Many nice ones can be found though. Strathmore, or Pentalic I think are somewhat affordable, but I don't know for sure. Also, if you want a more expensive one, if you *relentlessly* search for sales or deals, etc, sometimes you get lucky. Hope you get to try the illo you want soon!
About the "playing cards" sketches, I was at a local art store the other day and I found trading card paper to draw/color/paint on, idk if it'd be more worth it to cut out paper, but just thought it was interesting :^)

You're such a great youtuber and artist. It's just- I watch so many art youtubers and they either lack personality or pretty much talk about anything except art and cause drama. Idk it just hit me how pure you are portrayed online and that's probably how you are in real life too I wouldn't know. But yeah I just love your energy. It's refreshing.
Two things that bother me about drawing is: 1. My mom likes to watch me draw and I won't tell her that I don't like her watching me draw 2. I also only draw girls, but I am trying to draw guys more. (Girls for me are much easier to draw) Also I love how all the artist that watched spiderman into the spiderverse, get inspired to make a spidersona

I have a bad habit of only halfway doing sketchbooks then moving on 😂 I have like 6 sketchbooks and 1 is only for sorta complete illustrations ig so it only has 3 things in it And then I have another one with a bunch of embarrassing sketches that look really bad And another where there are some bad ones and some really good ones And another with like 85% bad ones with some good ones sprinkled in there And the one I'm using now is an Illo sketchbook and I'm really liking it uwu This video actually inspired me to draw so thanks Rin

Yeah it's cool, but it's not a nessecity, there are plenty of other cheap sketchbooks out there that are just as good.
Absolutely! I started with the cheapest sketchbooks at my grocery store art section. As long as it's paper, connected to other paper, youre golden!
Yup! In some ways, starting out cheap can be better, because you feel more comfortable experimenting, because you don't feel bad if you ruin it

I have a bad habit of only halfway doing sketchbooks then moving on 😂
I have like 6 sketchbooks and 1 is only for sorta complete illustrations ig so it only has 3 things in it
And then I have another one with a bunch of embarrassing sketches that look really bad
And another where there are some bad ones and some really good ones
And another with like 85% bad ones with some good ones sprinkled in there
And the one I'm using now is an Illo sketchbook and I'm really liking it uwu
