Nice fix! But I think the root cause of this issue is the two tiny screws holding the circuit board in place coming loose.
Very easy to check and fasten when you open the back cover. If you make sure to fasten these two, you don’t even need to add anything in between.

knowing now that the cause is an alignment issue, and with havinf the same problem with my fenix 6 saphire, with te two lower buttons at the left, I simply put some pressure on the case where the buttons are, without opening the case and voila, it worked again!!

Hi I have this problem with my down button on the 750 xt, I've already tried soaking it in warm water to remove dust sand etc but still doesn't work so can you tell me where tonight buy the screw driver and sponge ?

Logic just put something betwene key and contact, so it will push better

I have the exact same button not working although the spring is working too. I hope it’s the same thing. My watch is a Fenix 5x though.
