Should the brake pipes not be diagonally split for safety reasons?that's how mk1's come from factory. Will be stunner when finished👍

They do, but in modern times it's not really an issue and it allows us to run a single line down to the back. The only reason we might change this is because we have some massive front brakes going on and we're wondering if the 1st master cylinder will be enough for both. Thanks for watching 😁

Its looking good, i used a vr6 corrado rad on my mk1 20VT, the top rad hoses is on the other side

We did think about flipping it the other way, but we're trying to keep it all one side for the #showcar side of it

Stunning. A tad too much black for me though...inlet and boost pipes etc woulda kept silver. Did the customer outline their requirements or just give u the freedom to create?

Its alot more defined in real life, the gopro doesn't pick up the contrasts of the plastics, rubbers and painted bits. Yeah the customer had an idea of what he wanted then we gave him a few examples of different options

When you put the shallow sump on did you have to do anything with the oil pump pick up pipe?

Check out episode 13&14 when I fitted it. It did come with a new pickup, but i think it looked the same as the origional, I didnt measure them though.

What gear linkage bracket did you use? Looking for one to go on my sportline

I'm pretty sure it's all mk3 golf 02A gear cable setup.

I have a mk4 one, I'm just struggling to find the bracket that mounts to the gear box

I think there are a few variants, we always try and get them all from the same donor, this gearbox is straight out of mk4, an 02j, but it has a 02a style linkage.
