Antiparkinson drugs are medications used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson's disease.
Most of these agents act by either increasing dopamine activity or reducing acetylcholine activity in the central nervous system. This pharmacology lecture covers topics such as pathophysiology of Parkinson's disease, striatum and substantia nigra, role of dopamine, GABA, and acetylcholine, MAO-B and COMT metabolism, mechanism of action and side effects of antiparkinson drugs. Drugs mentioned include; Levodopa, Carbidopa, Entacapone, Selegiline, Rasagiline, Bromocriptine, Ropinirole, Pramipexole, Rotigotine, Apomorphine, Benztropine, Biperiden, Procyclidine, Trihexyphenidyl, and Amantadine.

Just wonderful, I've been looking for "what happens to dopamine in parkinson's disease?" for a while now, and I think this has helped. You ever tried - Piyaliyah Prominent Prepotence - (do a google search ) ? It is a smashing exclusive product for discovering how to reverse Parkinsons disease minus the normal expense. Ive heard some amazing things about it and my buddy got excellent results with it.

Imagine being able to replace lost neurons, instead of just slowing down the inevitable degeneration of these dopaminergic neurons. I attended a research symposium today where they were debating on the future implementation of 'preimprinted' neurons, from a petridish, grown out of pluripotent stem cells. Although early steps, I think this will become the future :)
@Infires man I would say to major in stem cell biology or neuroscience, accessible through studying biomedical science (or biotechnology).
TRACKING improvement
FIRST STEP: a UPDRS test, a push test with video, a walking and turning test with video, a talking test with video and possibly a writing test with video, standing from seated on hard back chair video with your arms crossed. These videos are kept on file to be used for comparison with future videos. This is a fairly accurate means of documenting improvements over time as it is actually fairly easy for some people to not realize how much they have improved over time.
