Air filter check (2011-14 CBR125R)

Body panels to remove, bolts to undo and tools needed shown. Design considerations given towards the end. Dirty or torn and wet filters will let in dirt particles that will destroy your engine from the inside. Not just bikes, also boats, trucks, cars, even your lawnmower`s engine.

Under the lower half of the air box the throttle body is connected to it by a hose clamp. Clamp screws out with a screwdriver, then pull the box up. I don`t know how the power filter would fit in al all space-wise.

How do you remove the whole box and put on a power filter insted of the air filter box?

Did the sound of your bike changes a bit after the change of the filter for one OEM?

Is the procedure the same for the 2007-2011 cbr125? (the one that looks like the 600rr)

I think to remember the JC39 doesn't require so many parts to be removed.

what a shitty design. you have to unscrew half of the bike to change a shitty filter. I've just watch cbr 250 air filter change. It takes 2 screw to change. Thank you for video.

Just buy a used ninja 250 or used cbr250 since those two bikes are easier to access to.
