Duran Duran is my favorite! This one was always very well hidden. Glad to hear it again, just so good structurally and sonically! Who’s on the backing vocals? They worked with so many cameo artists in this era!!!
So nice to see the extra scenes from previous Arcadia videos salvaged from the cutting room floor and used to good effect in this video when it was obviously either financially or logistically impossible to get the guys in to shoot something specific. I especially love the idea of projecting their faces onto the dancers blanked out face. Love Nick paying homage to Cocteaus 'falling scenes' from Testament Du Orphee...looks like he took quite a sideways fall in the name of art :)

Hope by these times you've already listened the album "So Red the Rose", maybe the best no Duran Duran album recorded by Duran Duran members. And maybe you've already known the bunch of rock stars added their talent to the recording sessions of this amazing project named Arcadia

Was shortly mentioned the two side-projects (including videos of The Flame and Get It On) and right before a commercial break a 5-second fragment of this video was displayed. For years I thought it was a Seven And the Ragged Tiger song (didn't own the album it at the time and later I changed my mind thinking it was a B-side, didn't care actually). The following year I followed your steps: Was lucky to find in a supermarket the only So Red the Rose cassette I've ever seen in my life (very poor quality by the way) so I fell in love with it but a few years later I painfully erased the intro song accidentally. By 1997 I was working and earning enough money to order the CD version from USA to replace my misfortuned tape and I felt peace when it arrived, thought was the end of the story. But around 2001 I found in Kazaa or a fan webpage an Arcadia song titled "Say the word"....Eureka!! That's the lost song I listened 15 years before in that TV mini-documentary. A different mood, stills sounds like a Seven ad the Ragged Tiger dropped song but sounds great to me! I know perhaps just a few of us enjoy the Arcadia project and it was not a commercial success but during these decades I've read a few articles praising the chunk of talented artist that dropped their art in this ambitious but truly underrated project

Anyone thinking "View To a Kill" meets "Invisible" here?. Came across this track when I was flicking through the album the other day...I know it's very 80's but those two tracks sprang to mind immediately. Again it sounds like a Bond theme...they seem to have a knack of doing this despite this being a Duran off shoot project.
