I've been practicing Vipassana for several years and it is now to a point where I may feel anxiety for no apparent reason, and I will say "emotion" and the anxiety just disappears. The lesson here is stick with it.
Today is my 30th consecutive day of doing this meditation,🎉 after the first week I added the 15 min. silent meditation to this so 30 mins of vipassana daily!!!! First time in my life that I've kept to a daily meditation practice for so long, it has now become a habit, can't do without it!! Have noticed tremendous change in emotional awareness, calmness and patience levels and handling stress triggers...many thanx for this video, it is a game changer!! ❤
I do this everyday, I take it as a pill, there is a sea change in the way I feel. Uncomfortable thoughts don't cause anxieties or heart aches any longer. Negative thoughts and feelings have a very diminished impact on my mind and body. Its just been 5 days since I started practicing. Amazing!!
That's a pretty good advertisement for giving this technique a try: so I will! I'm a Mahayana buddhist but my home practice is NOT established. This might be the push I need. Thanks x
Day 8 very interesting how my mind wanders. Attempting to be more conscious in my everyday life. Last year sometime I had realized that I was doing many things unconsciously and noticed I was putting myself in danger just by being on autopilot. I started guided meditations which I believe has made a significant improvement in my health and wellbeing. I have since lost 100 pounds. I'm 47 years old and have been morbidly obese all of my adult life. Until now. I know that guided meditations like these have helped. I am not quite ready to be on my own. I will be back tomorrow. Thank you. May whoever reads this have a lovely day full of compassion and love. Start with loving yourself with meditation. You deserve it. And you owe it to yourself and those around you. ❤
Thank you for sharing your experience. I am just learning how to meditate I'm and really enjoying it. Do you always stick to 15 minutes or do you meditate for longer sometimes?
I've been really struggling with anxiety and negativity recently. On exchange in the Netherlands from New Zealand and I've never felt so far away from home and the people that love me, but I'm realising that I need to take every day as it comes and focus on enjoying each one moment, rather than despairing about the bigger picture. This is my first day doing Vipassana! I can't guarantee that I'll do it every day, and I won't beat myself up if I fail, but I'm going to keep trying and I will get there eventually :) Day 3! Day 6! I did miss one but I'm still going! Done a week now :) 10 Days!
the key is consistency!! i’ve been doing this meditation daily for a month and a half and most of ny anxiety and overthinking has vanished! when it does come, i know how to observe and let it pass! i wasn’t consistent at first, the key is don’t beat yourself up over skipping a day or two. look at it as something you are doing for YOU, good luck!
William, you are never alone, love has no barriers and the ones that love you, are sending that strong loving feeling to reach you. In the quietness of the meditation that subtle sensation is arriving to your inner self. The ones that do not know you are sending the extraordinary feeling that we find together when we meditate. Day 14: 2 weeks of vipassana completed and I already can see my concentration level increased and feeling good and refreshed. 😊 thank you creator for this video. 😊
Did my first session today. If you came to this video to find relief to some hardship you going through I'm pretty sure you are exactly in the right place.
Day 1: Makes you realize how much your mind wanders and mine wanders A LOT. I noticed the littlest sound or comment would make my mind drift off into thinking about past memories and random scenarios that I obsess over. I think this is really gonna help me.
Just want to say if you're like me (I'm on my 10th day) and feel that you might be getting worse on some days, don't give up. I had a stressful day and felt like tonight's session was interrupted by so many negative thoughts of stressful events that happened throughout the day. Overall it was a rubbish session. But at the end of the session I reflected that I am aware of thoughts coming in and I am letting it go eventhough some thoughts took longer to let go. But earlier during the day, even in those stressful situations I was calmer than before and left the room when I felt like I was on the verge of anger and say something I may regret. So that's improvement as a result of only 10 days of meditation and it encourages me to keep going and you should too. Don't give up. Anyway just thought this comment might be useful for someone out there feeling rubbish too
I have not tried this yet. I must say the part about negative thoughts does put me off a bit as I don't know how bad it will get. I have often wondered about going through my past to see how did I get here. Thank you for the insite.
Thank you, Grace! I greatly appreciate your words, even though I’m finding them 3 years later! This process just may help save my physical life & help me to stay in the present moment without it being so scary (my living situation is almost not doable at a rent increase to 91.5% of my income & withdrawal from a med taken long term which can act as a neurotoxin & leaves one unable to get off the couch for about a year from the exhaustion of the healing process!) So...I do so greatly appreciate your wonderful comment of perseverance! Thanks ever so much! 🙏🏼♥️💕🕊
i want to say that i really love this video specifically because the man gives short reminders along the way but doesn’t intrude. he gives a lot of space for the person to be with themselves and their breathing. i’ve used this video the past couple weeks and have already been feeling more connected and focused and at peace with all of life’s ups and downs.
Managed about 3 months now, missed a few days here and there however now simply I just cannot live without. The gift you have waited for your whole life. Thank you
I'm sorry to hear that you've been suffering from such emotions, but happy that you're looking for a way to deal with them. Perhaps you could try breathwork next to this meditation, as my experience is that it works great to reduce feelings of anxiety. There are many different breathwork videos available on YT, so hopefully there's one you'll benefit from. All the best to you!
Today is my 29th day on Vipassana Guided Meditation, the 15 mins comes around quickly now and before I know it the 3 bells ring to end the session, can't wait to start a longer meditation after my 30th day tomorrow, thank you
I LOVE this guy's voice. I never fast forward through it, and I look forward to the part where he says, "Have a lovely day...." . I also love it when he says that you may decide you don't want to learn Vipassana, and that's ok."
Day 2 of Vipassana meditation: Thoughts are still scattered, I keep thinking of past memories, things to do today, everything but the present moment. I was more aware of my emotions and thoughts that appeared in my mind, which is a step in the right direction.
I feel worst than in the first meditation sessions when superficially I was feeling calm and relaxed. After the 10th session important things from subconscious mind started to surface. Thank you! It's very uncomfortable and painful but I understood that is a good way to clean your shit from the past. I see my patterns and my buffers and I accept it. I'm trying to understand the roots but its all imagination. After the 17th session I discovered the magical blissful state in the present moment. Its somehow a type of happiness that I never knew is possible.
Thanks for sharing your experience.... Now it almost a year... I was wondering what will be ur experience now... U might have made lots of progress....
This is how vippassa works. Its nit always a pleasant experience because it is purifying. It uproots painful mental and emotional paradigms which is healing. I love this practice. It has helped to heal old wounds and experience real shifts in consciousness.
@@sandrasneed4673 This is how traumatic meditation experiences occur. Use mindfulness of breath to avoid losing your mind by trying to relax. Mindfulness of breath has never resulted in traumatic relapse.
I’ve been listening to this on and off for about 5 years. Thanks so much. I love it. There are times when life gets especially busy and my medication practice gets squeezed out. But whenever I ‘begin again’, I start off here. This video is my perfect meditation friend 😊❤️
My speech is much more clear now, I don't speak too fast any more, I find the appropriate words much easier and had such a deep, peaceful sleep last night. I am at the fourth day and convinced that this is what I missed from my life so far.
You are just making yourself believe that. Nothing will change by the fourth day. It will take at least a month of this to even notice a slight difference. But it’s still nice that you are feeling better.
It’s true. The 1st time I practiced vipassana meditation, I did it for a half an hour & later in the day I noticed I was more positive.. I then remembered what I had done.. I try & do it every day now.
I've been practicing meditation for many years and all i could get is peace, knowledge and purpose, still I didn't know Vipassana.... now I will continue with vipassana because all the subtle sensations that arrive during each meditation, are transporting me to my inner permanent self.
Its been 2 weeks since I have started and its feels really good to follow along this meditation. I used to meditate before as well but this helps me to simplify my meditation processs. Also I felt like a saturation point after some days of meditation, the idea is to be consistent with the process and we can see some good results. Happy meditating everyone 🎉🎉
Day 100: Thank god I made it till here. Did for 25 minutes and as usual feeling control over my negative emotions. 😊❤ 12/02 This is the best thing I’ve ever did.
Day 1: It felt slow in the beginning, but in the end it didn't feel like 15 minutes at all, it felt a lot less. I'm hoping to keep up with this practice for the next 30 days, wish me good luck ☺️
@@5thkiechannel Not well 😅 I think I lasted only like 4 days or something before I didn't have time one day and broke the whole routine. So, I'm starting over. Yesterday was the new 1st day ☺️ It went worse this time. I was so distracted.
I sugest to reduce the time from 15 minutes to 10 or only 5...(just for assure the completion of the 30 days) ... specially in stressed days ;) after the first 10 days (even with 10 or 5 minutes) the routine improves itself ... I hope you achieve this for the complete 30 days :)
@@reflectionsonliterature804 I suspect part of loving kindness is not worrying too much if you miss a day or mess up, but just gently going back to it when you can.
This is my go to practice for mornings. I do it in the afternoon as well. After doing this everyday for a month, I can feel that my energy is calm and I am more present.
At first I struggled, even though I meditate often, but then I found that the simple instructions of categorizing thoughts and letting them go without judgement became easier and easier for me to do. I even noticed that rather than just sound distracting me, other senses like taste were pulling my attention away from my breath, something I've never noticed in any meditation, but I'm glad to have noticed and been able to let them go without judgement. Thank you for the simple and easy to follow meditation, I appreciate the author of the video and all of you reading this.
I have been doing this meditation for 6 months, constantly every day. If someone waved a magic wand and said you can go back and change one thing in your past it would be that I started meditating a lot sooner in life. It has made all the difference. And it's so easy and so simple and anyone can do it. I highly suggest meditation. ❤
Everything has changed for me. All the chatter in my mind is gone and I can really think better and on purpose. Yes they should definitely teach this in school. I am teaching my children. The earlier the better!
Did my first session today. I realized how the mind wanders a lot, it’s a great practice to focus on the breathing and the present moment. I will be back for day 2. I am also reading the mindfulness in plain English 🧘🏻♀️🍃
Doing this beautiful meditation every day (very often twice daily) is something I really look forward to. The peace and joy it gives me is beyond measure! I've been doing it now for 3 months and I'm aware (and so are my friends) how much I've changed, for the better, as a person. I'm calmer, less reactive, judgemental, and am learning to trust the Universe and worrying less. I don't actually think about or analyse too much the change in me, as I don't wish to give the ego a chance to feel good; but felt the need to mention it and give thanks, so as to encourage others to do the same. Thank you and be blessed.
I have to thank my mind since doing this meditation. It' literally saving me at work. I find my eyes just show me things. I might have missed . I have to keep saying thank you.
Finally I can! After years of grieve, trauma reliving, therapie etc now i am open. Thank you all teachers and specially Thich Naht Han. Bless you. When I look and listen carefulky, i Will find you in a cloud, a leaf, Just like i do when I miss my parents.
I decided to do this guided meditation again after 4 months, I'd forgotten the feeling I had at the beginning, the sound of that gentle soothing voice. I usually meditate every morning around 4am for 30 minutes, it is now 7:30pm and I'm resting before a trip tomorrow with my son, niece and grandchildren. Just wanted to gently doze off after a brief meditation, good night ☮️
This is my second day practicing with you and I haven't felt any change, yet... I will continue to do this for 30 days and then just keep going. I do love the feeling of complete quiet that my mind has though. Thank you. (from Sandi)
One thing you can also do before and after a meditation - Feel your pain and the space it occupies in and around your body. Label it without judgment just as it is - this is my pain. Then, say silently to yourself, 'this is not I this is my creation', you have created, these thoughts, feelings, emotions - and you can change them and choose something else. Allow yourself to discreate the painful feelings and emotions and feel at peace.
This is my first ever Vipassana meditation and I did it because Yung Pueblo recommended it in his new book “Lighter”. It was very calming and I felt the breathing and awareness of the breathing remove lots of tension from my body. It also really helped to say ‘In’ and ‘Out’ during inhale/exhale; it made concentration much easier. I controlled my breath at first but then I just let it be. That’s when I started to fall asleep haha but the bell sound woke me up & the meditation ended thankfully. I’m thinking of starting to do this for maybe the next 29 days. I really hope I can keep the streak going!!! I’ll set an alarm so that I don’t forget and let’s see what happens
Me too! not due to reading Yung Pueblo's book but to listening to him on Diary of a CEO. Such a beautiful, quiet, unpretentious, warm man. Made me feel love & want to meditate.
I have been practicing meditation since last 3 years but these 15 minutes were like 1 hour and gradually my breathe became deeper deeper naturally..thankyou 🙏😊
I tried this for the first time yesterday, thought I didn’t do it so well because my mind is like chaos BUT today I noticed a HUGE difference while studying! My concentration got so much better, I love it!
100 days done....( updated on 30 -10-2020) Learnings from my experience after 30 days : 1. Definitely anxiety and worrying about random things has reduced significantly 2. If we forget the benefits for the moment , the process of doing meditation in itself is a very calm experience 3. Definitely reduces sleeping hours....earlier 10 hours were not enough for me ...now 7-8 hours are more than enough 4. I try to practice NO FAP - but getting over 5-6 days was a tough task earlier... in these 30 days first i went upto 12 days and in the 2nd time i am still counting 38 days have passed and i have not relapsed..:)) updated on 82nd day - its been 57 days since last relapse and still there are no irrestible urges like before....initially i thought meditation will increase my self control to resist urges as urges will always be there being a male...but it has simply solved the root cause...no damn urges....as simple as it is...!! These are the 4 benefits i can think upon right now , may be there are more ( I WISH) which i am not aware of ... . i am going to do it for 30 more days and will keep updating here as it motivates me to keep following the practice update of any day missed 3 days missed- went to relative's place 28 -09 - missed today ....dont know why! P.S - one day during my session i reached a state where i was completely thoughtless....there was no to and fro motion between breath and thoughts....mind was completely focused on breath ...i did it for 40 minutes on that day without making any efforts ....it was the best session of these 30 days ....but sad part is it happened only once ... i think that is the state we all are aspiring for, it was blissful...... So i guess its not 30 days ....we need to do it as long as it takes to reach that state but definitely these 30 days can make you realize the potential of this practice and give you the motivation to pursue it further.
It all about experinces that stored in the unconscious mind. By vipassana we are clearing it and that will take to out of cycle of sufferings. For further, you can mail me @ bigbankidea@gmail.com Lots of Metta to You. Mangal Ho !
I've meditated before, but not using this particular method. My first time I've already noticed how gentle this method is. I felt compassion for myself blossoming, and a sensation of tranquility I've not felt with other methods. Thank you.
It's my first day, and this has been the most effective method in bringing my heart rate down, and my racing mind to slow down. Feeling out of control over my anxious emotions due to the covid situation brought me here, and I will continue for the next 29 days, will check in again on my last day!
Just wanted to share an update that 3 months later I honestly love this daily practice and have moved on to meditate for 60 minutes (they have a 60 min version of this video, it’s awesome thank you!), I prefer it without guidance and at the end of each session I feel I could do more. It’s become more realistic to be in meditation than with my normal daily thoughts and less chaotic in my mind and I’m really happy with this practice. Just wanted to share this positive experience for anyone who is struggling to get through it at the beginning :)
I declare right here right now that I am committing to bettering myself by practicing this vipsanna everyday for the next 30 days. And so it is, and so it is, and so it is 🙏
@Anjali hi, yes it's going well thanks. It's definitely challenging but I am thoroughly enjoying making this apart of my morning ritual and connecting more with how & where I am feeling, not only observing through meditation but I am and will become more observant through day to day life as I sharpen this practice 🙏❤
The constant effort that my mind took to keep my thoughts stable made me realise how anxious I was during the start. And by the end it was like a booster for my mind which gained back it's power to think and control. Thankyou so much! Now I'll definitely get back to this video everyday! 💯
Wow... so powerful. I felt waves of grief kick in during the meditation. It felt like I was in a trance state. Afterwards I started bursting in tears and so many memories of the past came up for me. It’s like stuff from the subconscious resurfaced. Very healing... I will be back to do it again tomorrow! 🙏🏽
I have been a person who is always anxious and can loose focus quickly. So it used be very difficult for me to have a conversation because after a while I used to zone out and people used to think I am not interested in having conversation. But after practising vipasana I see a huge change within. I can now focus, can have a conversation, feel less anxious and more confident now. There are lot of days when I cannot perform meditation ( though I am on a break lol) but still whenever I get time or whenever I feel it’s very long. I come back to this technique and it always makes me feel wonderful.❤
I just practice Vipasana, I feel the vibration and sensation of my body (light and floating), relaxing my mind, joints, muscles, and nerves. Thanks for this usefull Vipasana Meditation guidance. Breathe and smile, Namaste🙏🏻👍🏻😍
Thank you so much. What a tremendous blessing. So many distracting thoughts surfaced and then waves of grief. Then calm and an outpouring afterward in my journal of God's grace and protection. I am so happy I have found this.
During the meditation I experienced a glimpse of awakening to a degree. I was more enlightened for a brief moment. I understood, at a deeper level, that I can go through this experience of physical life and just feel how things affect my body. The feeling I got when I received this enlightenment was blissful. I felt peaceful. I also know that that is always available. In that moment that was clear to me.
I learned about Vipassana earlier this year and completed this meditation. At the outset, emotions and thoughts were high, but in a short period, my mind began to settle. For the past few months, I stopped Vipassana. I restarted the practice this morning; today's experience felt similar to when I first started; my emotions and thoughts were high. I think consistent practice is critical for me.
Wanted to say thank you for this video. It's been around two weeks now and blocking out unwanted stimuli has become so much easier. Makes studying far less of a chore.
I have not used this video, but from my own personal experience, this method is fantastic. I'm at the point where mind wandering and forgetting are no longer an issue. Distractions do arise, but the breath is never forgotten. Keep with it, everyone! It is for sure worth it.
Wow felt like I was infinite vast experiencing a small body. I was watching the body the sensations and thoughts. All of them are separate from me. Thank you for this meditation. It was very helpful 🙏
I have never felt this way when meditating. Such a profound sense of relaxation, both mental and physical. All of the sensations, are just overwhelming.
This is my 3rd day and I'm enjoying trying to discover the depth of me, my inner self and align it with a deeper meaning. I'm very much at the embryo stage but I am enjoying the experience. Thank you. 🙏🏾
I feel so calm and almost like I hit a reset button, while I was focusing on my breath I got a lot of insights on what my next steps are for today. Thank you for teaching this method of meditation! I find a lot of guided meditations to be distracting this is a good balance of getting in touch with the self and guided meditation. Much love!
You must meditate every day. It's hard work at the beginning but trust me gradually your life is gonna change. I'm so happy to have discovered meditation at 34 years old and live second part of my life so happy with peace of mind.
Swim In Lovely Place Never too late brother. I found it during a spiritual awakening after getting clean and sober around the age of 33. I felt a lot of resistance of meditating, i wandered a lot and got scared of noises and ect. but i tried to come back to the breathing again and it did work. I will continue doing it! See you tomorrow this was day one.

I’m using this meditation technic from one week ago. I must say that it looked so easy at the beginning but actually it was so hard to concentrate only in my breathing during 15 min! only one week has passed and I can feel the difference. I’m more calm, less anxious (the covid19 pandemic lockdown + I can’t go back to my country since there are no flights for me, made me feel so anxious during this time), and also I’m more focus than before. For sure I will do it for at least 30 days. Thank you for sharing this video.
Hope you are at your home now 😀. Are you continuing with the Vipassana , is it helpful ? While searching for a guided Vipassana meditation video I landed here
I have realized that I haven’t been in control of my thoughts and how I am triggered by certain thoughts and noises. Day 2 and hope to move up to the 30 min meditation. Thank you for this video.
Day 1: Feeling a deep sense of calm after a long long time. I could feel physical sensations in the scalp of my brain like a headache but slowly it passed like a temporary wave of anxiety . That passed and made for s tranquil state of mind. Thank you so much, a beautiful guided meditation session!!!! Whoever reading this, wherever you are, whatever your race/culture/religion/nationality/gender....wish you peace, happiness and bliss!

Did you continue? What changes do you feel now?

I use this comment everyday.
Thank you for the helpful comment. I'm just starting out....
Thank you so much for your valuable advice. I was going through a similar situation and reading this helped motivate me.
Yes, it is very helpful to me, VERY! Thank you.
Day 3 never done it before was quite hypnotic 🇬🇧♥️
I agree!
Managed about 3 months now, missed a few days here and there however now simply I just cannot live without. The gift you have waited for your whole life. Thank you
I’ve been angry, anxious, and fearful for years. This has helped more than anything I’ve ever practiced.

Day 2 of Vipassana meditation: Thoughts are still scattered, I keep thinking of past memories, things to do today, everything but the present moment. I was more aware of my emotions and thoughts that appeared in my mind, which is a step in the right direction.
I have done course on vipasana

I feel worst than in the first meditation sessions when superficially I was feeling calm and relaxed. After the 10th session important things from subconscious mind started to surface. Thank you! It's very uncomfortable and painful but I understood that is a good way to clean your shit from the past. I see my patterns and my buffers and I accept it. I'm trying to understand the roots but its all imagination. After the 17th session I discovered the magical blissful state in the present moment. Its somehow a type of happiness that I never knew is possible.

My speech is much more clear now, I don't speak too fast any more, I find the appropriate words much easier and had such a deep, peaceful sleep last night. I am at the fourth day and convinced that this is what I missed from my life so far.

This is the perfect meditation for me to do each morning. Just the right amount of guidance to keep me on track! Thank you for making this available.

Hi, any updates?
I sugest to reduce the time from 15 minutes to 10 or only 5...(just for assure the completion of the 30 days) ... specially in stressed days ;) after the first 10 days (even with 10 or 5 minutes) the routine improves itself ... I hope you achieve this for the complete 30 days :)
@@reflectionsonliterature804 I suspect part of loving kindness is not worrying too much if you miss a day or mess up, but just gently going back to it when you can.
I’m grateful for this teaching. I’m grateful for your blessings and mine. Peace ❤
Is your concentration improved please tell
It's it all about concentrating on breathing only? Nothing special?
They should really teach it in schools. Imagine how much more focused the pupils would be.
Everything has changed for me. All the chatter in my mind is gone and I can really think better and on purpose. Yes they should definitely teach this in school. I am teaching my children. The earlier the better!
Day 27: Did for 15 minutes and felt super calmed and mindfulness. ❤
In the past I did yoga, and today I started this meditation. I hope I will do it for the rest of my life, not only 30 days.
I have to thank my mind since doing this meditation. It' literally saving me at work. I find my eyes just show me things. I might have missed . I have to keep saying thank you.

Hey any updates?
Hi! Do you have a playlist of the meditations you're doing? Or can you share the best meditation videos/ channels pls?
I’m also here because of reading “Lighter” by yung pueblo 🙌🏻
Also here because of Lighter by Yung Pueblo. Love how we can bring people together for healing. ❤😊
Me too! not due to reading Yung Pueblo's book but to listening to him on Diary of a CEO.
100 days done....( updated on 30 -10-2020)
Learnings from my experience after 30 days :
1. Definitely anxiety and worrying about random things has reduced significantly
2. If we forget the benefits for the moment , the process of doing meditation in itself is a very calm experience
3. Definitely reduces sleeping hours....earlier 10 hours were not enough for me ...now 7-8 hours are more than enough
4. I try to practice NO FAP - but getting over 5-6 days was a tough task earlier... in these 30 days first i went upto 12 days and in the 2nd time i am still counting 38 days have passed and i have not relapsed..:))
updated on 82nd day - its been 57 days since last relapse and still there are no irrestible urges like before....initially i thought meditation will increase my self control to resist urges as urges will always be there being a male...but it has simply solved the root cause...no damn urges....as simple as it is...!!
These are the 4 benefits i can think upon right now , may be there are more ( I WISH) which i am not aware of ...
.
i am going to do it for 30 more days and will keep updating here as it motivates me to keep following the practice
update of any day missed
3 days missed- went to relative's place
28 -09 - missed today ....dont know why!
Great bro.🌷

Hi! How is it after a month?
Awesome. It’s become a habit and I feel weird when I skip it. Much calmer after every session.
@Anjali hi, yes it's going well thanks.
Thanks to you I've done this every day for the past 60 days. It's changed my life. I cannot thank you enough.
This is the exact glimpse I had after day 5 just for few seconds then I lost it, I couldn’t explain it but I felt it is reality than what I am now.

I’m using this meditation technic from one week ago. I must say that it looked so easy at the beginning but actually it was so hard to concentrate only in my breathing during 15 min! only one week has passed and I can feel the difference.
