This mod is amazing. You somehow managed to capture the essence of the Banjo-Kazooie series perfectly, from the music all the way to the humour. Everything feels like it was actually made by Rare. I certainly hope to see more of your work soon.

I've replayed this and had forgotten how many cool things there are. Like the dead King Bomb-omb, machine with Gamecube front side controller sockets, the Kurko Mods collection display at Brentildas. There even is a pagie from Yooka-Laylee in one of the areas.

Would love there to be an expanded version of this after Jiggys of Time is finished! I honestly wasn't expecting a Majora's mask crossover til JOT was completed, so this is really cool! :)
Usually can't get into romhacks, they feel too fake...
However, I completed this one in a single session & loved all the easter eggs.
My only criticism... the camera was damn iffy in certain sections... it kinda tickled my Mario64 nostalgia though haha! ;)

Excellent music, especially when the termite music played in Boggy's shop indicating you needed to transform into a termite to get the jiggy. Loved the OG zelda rooms too!

That's some impressive work. Just started playing it and was surprised at how fun it was. Just makes me want a full remake of ocarina or majora in the banjo engine.

1:13:08 LOL, that Majora's Mask moon is small and destroyed only Gruntilda. I like that this moon redeemed itself to help Banjo. XD
Best mod I've played from you yet!
Couple things i'd like to point out though. (Haven't watched the video)
1. In the Croctus shooting range, you can go to the very back of the room as a pumpkin, go to the left or right, fall into a bottomless pit, counting as a death.
2. When I hit the Winter switch, opening the Great Fairy door, I go back to North Clock Town and the gate is still closed, no matter which way I enter North Clock Town from.
3. There really should be a ladder to climb up to the final jiggy pedestal. There is no visual indication that you can climb that cloth.
4. A crack would've been nice where you fart an egg at the top of the Milk Bar. Before that, i just tried using the pumpkin, and thought the hole was for nothing. I would say the same for breaking Boggy's safe, but to be fair, you did use the word "break".
5. One time I saved and quit, and the last few jiggies/honeycomb pieces didn't register. Thankfully I already got all the notes.
EDIT: There should also be a dedicated place to restock on eggs/feathers. That final battle was meant to have a quick refill on standby. It's a real pain to refill manually during the boss fight while dodging fireballs.
Other than that, great mod!

1-Thank you for this info. I just updated to version 1.1 to fix the Fairy's Fountain door error, so I take note of this error for a future v 1.2 . I will wait a few days in case players find more glitches.
2- Updated v1.1 right now. You can download it and continue playing with your previous saved file. I'm sorry for the inconvenience
3- I was thinking a little about that, but I think that with a little research it is not difficult to see that there is a pedestal up there and that the Jump Pad has something to do. For that same reason I put 4 clothes, to make it easier for the player to stay Banjo "clinging" to the cloth, and the player deduces that you can climb. I take note though.
4 - In this case I thought that since the color of the stone is brighter than the rest, it would be deduced that it is an extra object, and not only background.
5-I really do not understand why this may be, it has never happened to me. BK rom have some errors when you modify the amount of collectibles, so it could be due to that. I will be alert in case it happens to more players.

Damn you, now I'm going to spend all day thinking about how to do the rest of the game like this. I do wish the Mask had played more of a role in the final battle though. And I love the "My new mask is sure to scare" line.
My main idea was for Gruntilda to wear the mask, and was the mask who speak for her. Unfortunately it was not possible

Played through this mod tonight (didn't watch the video) and it made for an excellent Saturday night! After playing through Jiggies of Time already, I knew you were capable of taking the magic of yet another game and somehow bringing the world of BK into it! I loved every minute of exploring Clock Town and all the secrets and hidden items were just genius. Wow! I managed to find all 100 notes and 20 jiggies without any hints, so I'm pretty proud of myself. Found 17/18 honeycombs and 19/20 mumbo tokens so I'll have to check out the video to see where I missed them. So many clever hiding places.
Amazing experience overall. Well done! And thank you for sharing this with the world!

I had noticed that this game does not feature the rest of Termina. Just Clock Town. I don't mind that too much, but by the looks of it, I may have to play the whole game in one go in order to keep all the notes until I'm ready for the final boss. I see you removed the front door from the observatory. I thought it was funny how Cheato kept saying not to break anything. When you told me that the mayor's residence was going to be where Mumbo was found, I was expecting maybe the original residence was going to be there and that maybe Mumbo would be where Dotour used to be and maybe some other NPCs are where the receptionist and Madame Aroma are. Oh well.
It looks like at the end, the moon shrunk when it fell down on Gruntilda. XD
Two of my favorite games combined into one 10 out of 10, the attention to detail is also amazing!

So that's how you get past those yellow webs. It'd be great for someone like me who hasn't finished any of the BK games for something to hint(lay an egg on it) how to get through them.
I really have to commend you on your talent with banjo game design! It was so intuitive and well done! I enjoyed every bit of it and was able to play the game in full without looking at the walk through. I got a little stuck (getting the jiggie out of the safe) but the game led me well and I was able to figure everything out on my own. I absolutely love being able to play a new n64 banjo game in the modern day. Also kazooies new dialog makes me laugh out loud everytime

It's amazing what they can do with N64 games these days.
This is absolutely brilliant! But I feel the final fight was lacking something new. I know the mask was present, watching the whole fight, but the mask didn't do anything, really. Given it's a Majora's Mask mod, I was hoping the mask would have at least moved. Loved the Moon being the rock that crushed her, though!
My main idea was to modify Gruntilda's model to put the mask in her face, and that way I would have modified the Sprite when she speaks, and would really be speaking the mask. Unfortunately I can't modify the models without "breaking" the animations ...

Two of my favorite games, mashed up together for a funny, entertaining, nostalgic yet polished crossover? Yes please!
And with the final boss completed I have beaten my 2nd mod from you. Not counting my "trauma" of missing obvious (and not so obvious... fiendishly hidden those honeycombs... I am blind and missed the ones in the Bomber's Hideout, the Bomber's Hideout Puzzle room, and the especially fiendish Beak Buster in the Observatory. I had no idea what Beak Buster meant and I feel silly. It never even occurred to me that it was literal. I guess it would have been TOO on the nose had you stuck a Troll face meme in there) This was another mod that put a smile on my face.
Majora's Mask and Banjo Tooie together in one place? Count me in! I am really glad you had an easier Town Shooting gallery though. As soon as I see it on the time stamps, I was like "oh god, I am going to have to shoot a mini game with eggs and really wonky mechanics... but it was just Croctus and Croctus isn't nearly as upsetting. So the minute I realized, that was a major weight off my back.
The only truly difficult things were Nabba's Jiggy run (this is difficultish in Gobi's Valley too) and the limited resources in the final battle. Other than that, it wasn't that upsetting (again, not counting my failure to find things...)
I admit to squealing like a girl when I discovered the area with Boggy. So many references. Conker's throne, Tetris, Donkey Kong's Tie... that was a very wonderful room... I am also heartened by your choice to include a Pagie in there. Whether or not that means you could at least tolerate Yooka Laylee enough or because Playtonic is Rare 2.0, but as someone who genuinely loved playing through Yooka Laylee (minus a few difficult Kartos mini games and Rextro #3 and 4 and an overlong, difficult, and frustrating final boss) and likes that game, it made me smile that maybe I wasn't the only one that liked it, problems aside with Kartos.
Thanks for making mods to literally my favorite slice of childhood. (I never beat Banjo Kazooie as a kid. I accidentally deleted my save data when I was in the middle of Gobi's Valley and couldn't figure out Mad Monster Mansion... I did beat the game for the first time in 2012 though) I will playthrough more mods and probably like them too. I love Kazooie in this mod. Her battle taunt to Nipper was cold, but Kazooie couldn't get me to frown.
I played the copy I had when this first hit back in December and ran into the Fairy Fountain bug and text (though text wasn't a problem... didn't want to miss the Fairy Fountain) so I essentially started over to prepatch the latest update.
The only issues I ran into now were:
1. The room where the Happy Mask Salesman is in the original game and that area has a camera that likes to get stuck on the ceiling so I have to blindly wander in first person view so I can tell where I am and get it managed. Nothing terrible. More amusingly annoying if anything. Don't know if it's a Banjo Kazooie engine bug or something unfortunate but not an issue
2. In the final battle, Bottles is interrupted first by Gruntilda. I have no idea why this happens or even if it was in the video as I know how to fight Gruntilda and wanted to be surprised. I don't know if Bottles says anything carried over from the first game, or it was just a mod issue. The fight is both easier and harder than the original game. Easier in the 2nd phase as you can actually dodge her shots on that little platform and it makes shooting her with eggs easier. That phase in the original was annoying. Harder because she seems able to get you no matter where you are if you aren't careful. She has better tracking. Maybe I just suck.
You perfectly captured the overall tone and mood of Banjo Kazooie. If I honestly didn't know any better, I would think Rare wanted Banjo and Kazooie in Majora's Mask and got a few licensing deals and settlements. But what do I know, I just really like the game. I rambled enough... thanks for reading or something. This was a real joy to play!
Wow, thanks for the extensive review! I always like to read all the long reviews because all talks about many different points of the game and they help me improve.
1. BK cameras in small places are really difficult to set up because they collide with all the polygons. The original game has well know for having bad cameras, and Mods are no exception for that same reason.
2. I did not modify those things you say about the battle (Bottles text and Grunty tracking)
