And of course I know Avenged Sevenfold has a lot a great guitar riffs like Critical Acclaim, Nightmare, Bat Country, Beast And The Harlot, M.I.A., Descreate Through Reverence, Save Me, Buried Alive, Strenght Of The World, Betrayed, Brompton Cocktail, This Means War and etc. So this is only my own top 10 A7X riffs and I apologize in advance for the absence of your favourite riff or song. My favorite A7X riffs to play that weren't on this list are Beast and the Harlot, Chapter Four, Bat Country, Planets, Shepherd of Fire, Hail to the King, This Means War, and The Stage.

@@harryclark8274 stage, bat country and especially planets and hail to the king are one of the easiest open D boring riffs theyve made. They are very very easy to play and come up with. Just generic and boring riffs that sound good tbh and they dont deserve top 10 or even 20.

Haters ain't got nothing on Syn's technical skill. He is capable of a ton more than just metal riffs, and his dad and him and have made a free online school to teach guitar which in my opinion deserves a little respect from the music community.

@@swarmer5 I think you're right, it's not hard, but the rhythm and technique to it is sure complex and hard to write and therefore difficult to tab out, that's why it's really hard in my opinion to play the thing "perfectly" but who cares

I love A7X, but, some people don't take the time to appreciate all of the song, they focus mainly on the solos or the vocals, they forget to appreciate how kick ass the riffs are, how amazing the drums are and how it all blends together seamlessly.

As someone who likes A7X, but isn't a Rabid fan ( had a chance to go see them, chose Lamb of God instead) I was a little dissapointed not to see Buried alive, Sidewinder, Beast and the Harlot, Requiem or Hail to the King.
This means war is a real fun one too. Easy to learn but really gets the head banging

Triggered Snowflake Tried it and it works quite well! I dont usually turn off my mids , but i leave it rather low, like at about 4!! But now i cranked it up to 6. However, do u think i should lower the gain? It is currently at about 7 but with the high bass, treble, and mids, somehow it sounds a little muddy (maybe my amp just sucks??)
