The fact that she is FP means you don't have to pay money to get her.
She has a abnormally high NP rating and now with appendages (which she can get from FP) now she has a 40% starting battery
When your only competition for AoE saber is Fergus and Jason, you find yourself naturally higher in the eyes of F2Ps

Jason its more of a semi- support, and Lily its a NP nuker. Both fulfill very different roles.
And as someone with a fully maxed Jason I can say, boy does no damage unless you super buff him and grail him; at that point just using a regular Lily with Shakespeare its more efficient.
I'm really hoping for a Nobu buff in a future Guda event. She's a top tier character and deserves it.
I kinda wish that they could have given the choice of exchanging the Wellfare Nobu for Denon King Nobu because that's more or less what happens in-lore, and it would be a good mental dilemma, do you save Wellfare, One-of-a-kind Nobu or do you exchange her for an easier time the rest of the game and hope that there comes another rerun of the Nobu Events
Its nobu berserker? Or they are others nobu beside mama nobu and nobu berserker.. i start the game in june..so i dont know about it

There is exactly one niche in which Irisviel was the absolute best servant for the job. The King Hassan CQ. Even if Asclepius had been available, Iri would have been better because she can guts herself to stall out against the onslaught of instant death from Gramps. She was Instrumental in stalling out those Hassans so that my support Sanzang could make with the ORA ORA ORA.
This by no means makes her any more viable the other 99.999999% of the time.
Was literally about to say this, would have never beaten that CQ without her.

@@Dagowit Scheherazade can't apply guts on NP, only with a skill. The King Hassan CQ is all about surviving and waiting for Gramps to kill the Hassans himself to remove his stacks of damage negation. But he's got a significant death proc on attack and it's even higher on NP, so class advantage does few favors and it procs over evade/invuln. Guts is the only way to rank the death and not lose the unit, that's why Irisviel is so uniquely useful in this one fight.
That one and the one Arash fight where you have to wait him out, but even that one has been stolen from her by Castoria who can practically make it trivial.
Imagine that i wasn't expecting irisviel on the list because I literally forgot about her 😂
There are some top tier welfare and then some bottom tier welfare. It's sad that many 4* Assassins got shafted. I've played since near release and have used all these Servants enough to agree 100%.
Quick addendum: I see a number of comments that Kerry should be here instead of X. Him being labeled an Arts Assassin is slightly misleading--most people equate Arts with looping and his poor NP gain doesn't lend itself to that. His true niche is his hit count. He's on of the few Servants you should lead with a quick card because of his insane hitcount. He's my second best star Gen Assassin only to Jack. Then you need to feed him his own stars. His kit can be tricky because it's intended to burst and it blows my mind how he's got no dodge despite that speed. It doesn't help that he's difficult to obtain either. I'd still rank him above all the Assassins listed here.
@@jamilahu you can just use summer ushi or yan qing or even fuuma. You don't need Kerry specifically for that role. They are better star generators and star distributors. Also, Kerry's case is like hundred faces, in that his star gen is really good if you use his brave chain ( his extra attack really is one of the best). Also 6 hit buster.

The one thing I've seen Chacha used pretty consistently for is just bringing her in on the first turn of a CQ/story boss setup, explicitly to drop her S3's excellent defense debuff and then die immediately. Her Berserker fragility is actually something of an upside for this kind of setup, increasing the consistency of her planned death by taunt CE. This obviously requires a fairly specific kind of fight to work, one where you can expect the debuff to stick on a single target, but it is at least something resembling a niche. It's not enough to put her any higher on this sort of list, but it is a utility nobody else really has.
Bunyan has this niche too. And yeah, you're pretty much right!
As someone with a grailed Chacha who has used her for various CQs, tbh she's actually a pretty decent CQ focused AoE. Keep her alive with Mash and Support Merlin, her skills plus amazing internals keep her constantly np spamming, etc, etc. Obviously don't bring her to single enemy CQs but the ones for the Summer events for example she can constantly apply good damage in spite of her flaws
To be fair, yan qing is good now after his np buff. He used to have problems competing with someone like kojiro. Then I remember that kojiros second skill is broken now and we are back to square one
Yeah, Kojiro and Izou can out damage Sassy-sin despite their rarity and state.
I hope he gets Amakusa treatment. He's so cool, but ain't pleasant to use (atleast on NA. I've heard, these buffs made him really solid, tho).

Mirror of Eight Leaves fixes Fran's stun problem, otherwise you can just use the Atlas mystic code to clear her debuff after. While it's more of a patch than a full on saving grace, at least these two easy to get items help her work a bit longer. Though her deck thoroughly sucks, QQABB would be much better, if not even QQAAB
One way I build Fran is a double skadi + Nightingale/BB with a combat mystic code. Apply 1st Skadi Buffs, apply Fran skills including overload, Use BB/Nightingale's cure and debuff immune, then swap BB/Nightingale with 2nd Skadi and apply buffs. couple this with Kaleidoscope and you can most likely use the NP 2-3 more times before she gets burnt out. Its really fun to use her XD

Personally, I grailed Irisviel to 100 after Agartha out of sheer respect for hard carrying me through most of the fights (I was set on sticking to the female bond bonus for my comps). It can't be understated how great she is as an alternative last man anchor like cu/herc against neutral/assassin enemies, which something the other white mages can't do (honestly I consider her closer to a budget Jeanne than the other healers). Her first skill could use a buff though, I definitely agree.
Also would like to point out that Stheno's entire M.O. is that she's essentially treating the whole summoning/humanity crisis as a vacation to hang out with her sisters, and her kit reflects how low-effort she is in combat. (Her 3rd skill is just a "whim" and her NP is just her smiling which is why she has the best base NP gen in the game due to how easy it is to perform)
Her entire point imo is she *wants* to be a bench-warmer unit, which is why her kit feels like it's just short of greatness and it's beautiful. It may just be a coincidence and doesn't change her performace gameplay-wise, but it fits so well with her character lol.

@@ZetsubouGintama yeah, i was struggling with my 4* assassin's since they do shit damage. I'm glad I got Gray and Cleopatra recently, i can finally do massive AOE damage with an Assassin
Funny is that she is not even bad , but dont forget this list is called worst 4* but they are not necessarily bad
@@morsayxd yes she is for a 4* , i have used her a lot of times and the problem with her is that you need to make a team around her to "properly" use her, but generally using damage support give way more powerful, so she has almost dead skills ( taunt )
if the damage cut was on taunt instead of crit she would be a lot better

I'd actually put Kerry instead of chiyome. Her np is now upgraded and she can easily spam her np. Kerry has just atrocious np gain. Honestly, just buff chiyomes first skill to include something like buff removal and then she's good
I had considered it, but the amount of mileage you can get out of a targetable taunt is really good. I use both Kerry and Chiyome a fair amount and at least from my experience he outpaces her. Still love her though

@@klidge both have their uses. I mean, Kerry really doesn't have a hard survival and he has no np charge. Bad np gain too. But that targettable taunt is pretty good. Chiyome has good np gain, evade and np battery( though it's awkward to use). Even though Kerry's np is good, it's so difficult to reach it. That's why I prefer chiyome to him. Both of them can great, if they improve Kerry's np gain and chiyomes first skill to include something like buff removal

if i cared for usabiliity I wuoldn't level up all my 175 servants to max level. I love them all and recent tower event deepened my love to them! (still herc meta 100lv for usability)
oh for sure! I love all of these characters as characters, but man using some of them hurts
I will bring up something irt Stheno;
she pairs well with more than just Euryale. I use her most of the time with Gorgon, where you get the same advantages as Euryale *PLUS* you can Buster Chain their NP's.
I will agree 100% with the AoE charm suggestion plugging a hole in her kit.
Absolutely disagree with Chiyome. She can spam her NP for days, does reasonable damage and has hard defense, that's more than some Assassins ( _cough cough_ Kerry _cough_ ) can say for themselves.
Also her np is upgraded
Honestly Chiyome's biggest problem is Shiki exists. If you don't have Shiki though, she's a decent substitute

Her np is weaker tham kiritsugu's and she has weaker np spmibility too , since she cant crit as consistently and her art amp is weaker , the only edge she has over kerry is an evade , but kerry can still make it up thx to scape goat
@@morsayxd her arts buff is much longer than kerry’s which is huge because it lets her have buffs to work with for a longer duration compared to Kerry also with her np buff combined with her kit you can easily start pumping out ridiculous amounts of curse dmg alongside the dmg from her np
Stheno can also support Kama nicely since Kama also charms and is divine, Stheno would even get the same class advantage as Kama.
Fran can do Skadi farming as well, Asclepius can cleanse once and give debuff immune with his np as well as provide more battery and np gen. It's definitely niche since you need those 3 units as well as kscope for asclepius to be able to np.
Not saying these units don't belong on the list, just some ideas on how to use them if you're stuck with them(like me)

Doesn't Yu Mei-ren get s buff in the future that gives her buff removal resist for 3 turns, which, combined with her other skill with 1 turn of debuff immune, allow her to spam her NP safely for 4 turns?
It does, but during this time she usually will only get to fire it off once, maybe twice with top tier supports, but her damage is still lackluster so there are better options to do that with. Still like her a lot though!
You should do a top 10 most slept on servants for the respective rarities
Redeeming quality for Stheno:
Her Charisma that also buffs Divine, unlike other servants who have similar ATK/ATK if buffs she DOES apply it to herself.
I'm using Stheno in combo with Cleo and Carmilla, and in such teams (lot of quick/crit stars but Burst NPs) she can really shine. But yes, two of her skills are quite useless overall.

I don't even play this game most of the information I know about the fate franchise is the lore but by how he explains things I can kind of understand what he's talking about and I also find this video hilarious he almost sounds like a coach trying to talk to his bad players until then what they need to do to be better.
The thing that gives me hope for all the Welfares on this list is the Halloween three-in-one event from last year that not only re-released a bunch of early Liz welfares, but also buffed them!
I hope we see something similar again soon. Maybe a FGO Collab three-in-one for Garden of Sinners, Accel Zero, and Prisma Codes for new access to Shiki, Irisviel, and Kuro (not that two of those three actually need a buff, but still).

Honestly tier listing gives you a better idea overall since you can use the same points but for that class.
I honestly believe that the summer version of characters is their way to fix busted servants. Sometimes. So yeah a summer ver. Of no1 would be a good idea to fix them.

Kinda curious with Qin Liangyu on honorable mention. Ive seen her soloing even against sabers so i kinda want elaboration on that a lil. Anyway great vid, Iris need a summer version and nobbu needs a rerun(?)and a buff.
Iri greatest feat on my side was making me RNG survive king Hassan challenge quest when originally came alonside Merlin and Cu alter.
Consort Yu works well with Semiramis from what I have experienced with using her. When I got Semiramis though, Consort Yu was sidelined and not used as much. I wonder if I should try to make a Semiramis/Consort Yu/Gray team since I have all of them and to take a break from the Semiramis/Kama team I tend to use.
Most of them are really old servant, but they help me so much on early game

In any case the last thing with Iri about Assassin's and Foreigners is that she can do OK at at Neutral Damage but does especially well at Class Adv
My two gripes with Medusa Lancer are that:
• Her monstrous strength skill needs a buff asap.
• More importantly her NP gain its bad, like really bad, like reaaaaaaally awful; I think the only servant with worse NP gain its Abby
@@aablanco48 I don't think she's particularly great, but in her defense the multiple quick downs help her NP Gain. Also her Monstrous strength stacks multiplicatively with the quick downs and has a relatively short cooldown.
Her and Yan Qing both function better as secondary attackers

Consort Yu's buff honestly saves her a lot so I wouldn't put her here

Her 3 star tier ATK stat really hurts her. If you only have her at NP1, just use someone else.
consort yu ia alooooot better with her 2nd skill buff, playing the tower event made me realize how freaking nuts she is spamming np constantly, and she is surprising a good solo unit, if she got a gutts she'd be nigh unkillable
The problem is that she has 3 star lvl stats and being an assassin gimps her atk even harder making it so she does basically no dmg
i can think of a few things that could help, then again not like DW would buff them anytime soon. but i'll put it anyway
-Yan Qing: Make S1 Targettable and 3 Turns since if he was supposed to be a star controller, why bother with a Self Buff honestly
-Chiyome: Just give her a Damage Mod that increased with each Curse she put and she'd have ways to make use of those stacks. why the hell did they put Evil Curse on that NP Upgrade anyway
-Nobu: 100% Star Gen, 10 Stars per Turn or even 20 Instant Stars, those are ways they can go and help her with being a Crit Archer that's more sustain
-Ana: Give her Monstrous Strength a 3 Turn Atk Up, Quick Up and NP Damage since the Quick Resist Down has risk of getting cleansed and can't get carried over to next turn
-Chacha: honestly the 2 thing i can think for her is make her lose Class Disadvantage on S1 so that she can safely take hit or make S3 AoE
-Fran: A Debuff Immune on any one of her Skills would go a long way in making her less reliant to other
-Yu: Either give her an NP Upgrade so that NP can hit decently, make that Buff Removal Resist last 5 Turn or make her Vampirism gives 30% so that she can farm with Koyan and Oberon
-Scathach: just make all of her Skills 3 Turn
-Stheno: don't really know how to improve this one aside from maybe giving a 30% Charge on S3 to all allies maybe
-Irisviel: Charge, Improved Base Gain, shorter cooldown on all of her skills
Yu can already farm with Koyanskaya and Oberon fespite having a 27% battery, because she has 10% NP regen every turn
For stheno, I am thinking of an unique approach: change her deck to light arts with an arts np. She would actually be good since her np gain is top tier and she could spam her buff removal and defence downs. What I hated about stheno support is her flooding the deck with her shitty quick cards. So there won't be enough arts cards for dps np generation. Moreover, she is not a good star gen either with 2 hit quicks
Removing Class Disadvantage from Chacha would be a really fun gimmick, honestly. Depending on the boss's hits, she is able to recover lots of her bar just by being hit. If she was able to survive, you could use her NP once each 2 turns.
Technically Gray can NP loop after her NP buff in JP if you have Vitch assassin. (NA will have it in 2 years)
She can? But her NP buff only gives her a 10% charge after use, and her battery (which is only 20%) is on a 6 turn cooldown, not 5, so she can't refresh it in time for turn 3 without Atlus code. I can only see it working with a plugsuited Oberon + her charge skill on turn 3.
I can wholeheartedly agree with this list. Maybe for couple arguments on some I'd change or be convinced about.
I'd put Yu a lil higher at least above Fran since she has better np spam and isn't a berserker.
Liangyu I wouldn't even put as a mention. She's an all around greatly servant and has a really cool buff mechanic to be one of best soloers in game. Given she's got good command cards and couple stat buffs she's awesome.
Summer Skadi I could see but I need little more info and I would've put Atalante (Archer) at least as a mention since a lot of ppl can surpass her.
I've often used Fran as a one shot NP blast for final waves. So, she serves a purpose unlike some other 4 stars to me, so I don't think she can be called among the worst.
And until I got Skadi, Lancer Medusa was my #1 archer boss killer wirh double skadi, so again, not the worst. May not be built very well but works well in a few specific cases.
The problem all arts st assassin have to deal with is shiki exist

Fran can work with Dual Skadi farming without BB etc. but you do need an MLB Vessel Of The Saint

Good list overall and I generally agree with most picks as well as your reasoning.
Summer Helena (archer) should probably have made the list instead of Chiyome. Archer Helena is a pretty atrocious unit gameplay wise. Great character though. I am also not sold on Anne & Mary, but I guess they do hit hard at least.
As for HPB archer I use her a lot for farming and the 20% np to everyone enables decent farming if you lack the bigger supports (I only have Tamamo and Osakabehime) so I like her a lot as a budget support. Anne and Mary could definitely make the honorable mention but because CE’s with guts exist I spared them. They need a guts ability like there archer version and they’d be crazy
I want stheno for 1 reason:

Come any male enemy, I can charm them 3 times with summer kama's 2nd skill, and sthenos np and 2nd skill. Along with the divine attack up from the skill, her np has a defense down and buff removal (iirc)

As a person who has 2 of the Servants listed Chiyome and Stheno, is fair criticism. (cause I use them frequently.) and the one thing I would've added personally is Give Stheno's NP actual damage. So if the chance of Death doesn't go off Give them damage along with the Debuffs/Buff Removal and Charm and if their males Do what Euryale's Does and have it hit like a truck just the same way. As for Chiyome I run her in teams her damage is meh, but I still enjoy using her to the best of her ability and she's a sweetheart. So I agree with what you've said with the Servants I have and use. (I have Medusa Lily as well, but I never got around using her to give my thoughts fully, so I'll take your word for it till I do.)
Honestly, put a strengthening to change sthenos deck to light arts with an arts np. That would already make her a good servant, being able to spam defence downs and buff removals

I have 4 copies of Assassin of Paraiso, haven't leveled her np up bc I am not planning on using her, should I just keep one copy for collection purposes and burn the rest for Rare Prisms or should I make her np4?
I personally wouldn't because you never know when one buff comes and breaks a character

Before putting out my thoughts on your thoughts, i would like to point out that specializations/niches aren't the synonim of bad. Because someone does pretty good in a certain scenario compared to others, or has some utility in certain places, that doesn't mean the kit is terrible, it means more on the usage of it and how in cohesion with all their stats in conjunction, make for a pretty good servant.

10) I believe after his NP buff, he's in a much better place than he was before. That just pretty much allows him to be a better dps overall, contrary to before his NP buff, that it was just depressing. While i do agree the whole "STARS" kit is pretty bad on paper (reeks of something would be given to a year 1 servant), he's in a much better place now if i say so myself.
9) I don't think she's bad, but, there's some food to the mind with her in this. Chiyome has competition, in the form of Hundred Faces Hassan, and Shiki; both obtainable for f2p and they all are ST arts. Reason for this comparison, is that both do better in 2 departments she's in; one can spam better her NP compared to Chiyome (HFH), and the other not only hits harder than chiyome, but can generate stars far better than Chiyome (something you didn't point out). Even depite of this comparisons, she's still a far better and more workable servant than say, Kiritsugu that, while he can hit hard and has that utility of the targetable Taunt on anyone of the party, and has a lot of star generation stats on his cards, he's pretty much a sitting duck after all those tricks are done; while Chiyome can provide support to the party in the form of NP Seal (which isn't niche. It's pretty strong. See it like a NP drain. But i'll agree hers is very bare bones with nothing else attached to it), Skill Seal (on NP), Crit Chance down, and while DoT i do agree is niche and pretty weak in the game (but got better overtime), thanks to the np buff she got, she pretty much can give a decent chunk because of the Evil Curse now attached to it, which is something she wanted to exploit for a while. She isn't bad, but outclassed by HFH and Shiki, but like those 2, she's pretty competent nonetheless.
8) I don't think having help is a detriment since it's a team game, but i'll agree that for someone that wants to exploit crits (she has the potential to be a big crit user), the fact that her deck doesn't allow her to get the so needed stars, is sad overall. But in regards of her powermods, i point out that niches aren't bad, and they are pretty useful. While her damage leaves much to be desired when not exploiting it, she can quite deliver in the end for performance.
7) The comparison with Romulus it's understandable because he has a better kit than her, but it's irrelevant when they both specialize in different departments (AoE vs ST). Gareth, the Cus and Taiga are better ways to compare her in regards of performance, that those 4 truly, are far better than her. Tangent aside, while she can pack quite the punch because of her high NP modifier, her kit certainly lands in the weaker side of the spectrum, because most not only are 1 turn effects, but her np gain (which i would say is the real reason that holds her back), is the reason she's so underwhelming. Doesn't help either that there's a welfare ST quick lancer aswell, that far exceds and does perform everything she does but better (Summer Yu). She can hit like a truck, but for that truck to arrive, most likely will take you 2 days for that. And maybe she already dropped at that point.
6) 100% agreed. Eventhough i like her because she was one of the first welfares i got starting the game, she's in a pretty sad spot, since for her to exploit a lot of her kit, literally the game mechanics are against her, or she's just too squishy to actually exploit it. She does more than Sparty tho...but sliiiiiightly, which i don't know if laugh or feel sad on her behalf.
5) Also agreed. I do like Frankie and she does have a lot of potential, but for a lot of stuff to fix her issues, either comes on needing the anti stun CC, or someone on the party to actually help her out. She hits pretty hard, and has the np gain to manage that, but the deck doesn't help her a lot. She's one of those cases of a servant that to truly shine, she needs support of her teammates. Which ain't bad in a team game where all issues are solved by the other teammates helping on that, but sadly when she's alone it leave more to be desired. Vessel of the Saint might be the best for her imo, but that means she's in a real fast team to avoid the stun. If she gets the Tamacat treatment to avoid that stun, it would be so helpful overall.
4) No need to see it sadly XD. I actually can see all of her problems. While that buff allows her to not be a sitting duck for the other 2 turns after...the glaring issue of her NP still stands and shouldn't exist. It's too detrimental for her usage, and like a lot of her class (and even same rarity), she already hits pretty low. So removing her buffs, be it in a team or alone, is quite glaring. Mind you though, this is the first servant on your list that REALLY needs that S2 at lvl 10, or else you will have to deal with the RNG for the buff removal resist to land.
3) Also agreed. Summer Shishou it's the classic Jack of all trades, master of none. While she can pack a punch and is (or was for a good time) the only high damaging AoE assassin f2p could rely on back then, you had to deal with the rest of the kit, and mostly care on her S3 if you wanted more damage. The skills are fine by themselves, but it's the usual glaring issue that a lot of Y1 servants used to suffer, that was bunch of skills all over the place that made nosense. Some still suffer it (like Hektor f.e.), but overall, she suffers is from a lack of focus. Her np gain is a bit below average, and doesn't help that the other AoE assassin welfare released years after, not only have a more focused kit than her, but also do a better job than her with far better innate stats and skills.
2) I wouldn't say she's bad, but she's a very, veeery specialized support. The ones she can help aren't far in between, since there are a lot of servants that everyone has access that have the Divinity trait (not only her sisters, but also the Cus, Taiga, Kogil, Caesar, list goes on). Her NP gain it's absurdly good, despite having a Y1 deck of an assassin, but also has quite the good star gen capabilities for the same reason of the deck. While the Buster NP doesn't allow others in the party to Arts chain, and even diminishes the NP gain if it's on the start of the chain, I would still say she isn't bad overall. It takes quite the while to get used to how she works, and honestly wouldn't advice her for a new person starting the game, because she's a supporter overall. At most she has still the NP color issue (and will probably stay the same), but she can work.
1) This is completely a tragic case. Not only specialized healers on this game aren't as needed like in other games , she suffers not only from lackluster innate stats and skill set, but also the fact that the other 2 specialized healers in the game do a far better work than her, and her only perk being the party guts, it's just sad. Like, Medea heals too yes, but not only can fire it off at once because of her full insta TP gauge skill, but it also removes debuffs, and also has a target buff removal resistance. All that is pretty strong. And Asclepius strengths overshadow Medea's, and on domino effect, also does to Iri for a landslide. She had relevance in the past for real tough quests (Nerofest exhibitions overall), but a lot of her strengths have aged pretty badly, only leaving her as a 1 trick monkey. She needs some urgent buffs to be relevant or to be an alternative at this point, since unless you are pretty dedicated to use her, she will not deliver at all.
Sorry it was this long, but I wanted to voice out my thoughts on your list. in it's majority is well rounded, so pretty well done! I'm surprised you didn't list Miyu or even S. Helena on this list, since they have issues of their own. At least one of those got their issues fixed, but the other one is just totally forgotten and has never been buffed unfortunately.
Scathach with KScope is also usable for wave-2 clearing. She's NP5 so she can deal enough damage to clear it. And she generates from 30 to over 70 stars if used in Q+Q+NP chain. So she can guarantee crits to the wave-3 clearer (the most powerful unit).
27% batteries are fckng trash. Like 25% on Arjuna and Karna. They are incompatible with Merlin/Helena batteries and should be managed like 20% (equip Scope for turn-1 NPing). When it's almost 30%! Almost!
And yes, Iri is hardly usable. She was my first 10/10/10 and bond 10 character in the game but maaaan I've never used her since.
I think she needs a lot of buffs to be good:
-Passive Skill that gives her 15% charge when a Servant on the field is defeated.
-100% charge on Skill 1 to justify it's long cooldown.
-Targetable Invul on Skill 2.
-3000 HP regen and 10% NP regen on NP (like Miyu's, but no stars and atk up) with STACKABLE Guts. Also CD reduction for herself.
I use like half of these, some for farming, others for challenge quests.

Any reason you left out martha rider and caster out as honorable mentions since despite what you may think they are by definition white mages especially because martha for whatever reason is the one servant always goes for the unorthodox method of play style in her 3 classes that its honestly surprising she's not an alter ego or some breed of class that mixes different class types such such as how her ruler summer version mixes tankiness with a berserker playstyle.
Hell as a rider she plays more like a caster that has a buster np and her recent Christmas caster version is literally a caster with assassin style gimmicks kind of like how they tried to play that off with semiramis being an assassin with caster attributes only in Martha's case actually worked.
That’s a fair point she would classify as one as well. That said I use her a fair amount as a debuff remover and healer or as a back liner with Asclepius and she’s incredibly consistent in her role. I’ll be honest Christmas Martha is so new I completely forgot about her outside of her being decent but I may have to review her skills again
Martha has buff clear and party debuff clear, that already puts you in the "useful" category

Qin Lyangyu only problem is her not having an evade nor a taunt. Pretty much like Diarmuid (saber), most of her problems dissapear with the right CE. Still, i don't disagree in that she appeared as a honorary mention, since it's complicated to make her np work properly against anything that isn't an assassin or a rider. She is the best character against aoe enemies though.
believe me I want her to be good so bad and I use her a lot. If they give her a taunt she'd be crazy
@@klidge she can handle the lb5.5 tree fight very easily since he crits like clockwork and does half damage, i recommend cleanse command codes and an anti divine ce.
If there's something Iri is better at than the other two healers, it's keeping herself alive.

Actually, it's super bad, because Iri's main survivability is her np, but her np gain is the most garbage think i see in my whole life
Fun fact: asclepius does more healing with his first skill than iri does with both her skill( one of which is a healing effectiveness up)

I actually use Shuten/Stheno/Osakebehime together and I'm honestly shocked how solid it is. Tried it on Ivan Mammoth battle and he couldn't take them down at all lol. I wish Stheno had more uses tho. Oh didn't Consort Yu get a NP upgrade in JP so she wouldn't remove her buffs?
No, but they buffed her Buff Removal Resist so now you can use her NP twice instead of once before she removes her own buffs

He forgot one of the main issues of assassin of shinjuku. His atrocious atk stat. He has a really low atk stat for a 4 star. His atk stat is really more befitting of a 1-3 star servant.
I fall firmly in the “I play Medusa Lily because she’s adorable” camp even though every. Single. Time. I use her I’m disappointed by how little damage she does
I like using her because she's good at stalling against archers, especially ones who can charge out of nowhere and her last skill helps her live longer. It would help if her charm skill worked on humanoid enemies instead of strictly male though, like Kid Gil. But yeah, she's not good for damage, I make her work just because I like her.
Her np is upgraded and she has an atk up + a quick down , i dont know what your standard are for dmging np but in my you are pretty wrong , dmg is the last thing she needs , the only thing this unit needs is a np gain up or a battery and that is it

As for the overall top 10 I see the issues but nothing that says outright impossible to use of you put the effort into them since outside of farming everything in fgo has a niche to it in the main and event quest story missions. In NA we already have a cheat guide opencause JP has them out 2 years ahead where as JP goes in guessing.
Hell far as 4 stars go I find less use for fionn especially after summer melt came out.
I rolled for Consort Yu and I am happy I have her.

Even though I m not a fan of chiyome I can praise the fact that she can easily spam her np WITHOUT the need of SSR units like altria caster.
She may have a curse niche but you can easily ignore it and go for the art spam.
Fran is very workable thanks to the command code that prevent debuff.
Stheno used to be hyper niche but the buff removal applies to EVERYTHING not just male.
Honestly the only things that can be on this list are chacha for being a bland AOE berserker even though AOE buster berserker isn't something we re missing AND iris because she s outclassed by a 3 star.
The rest are not bad as long you know how to use them.

I agree with the issues about medusa lancer however, you also pointed out she does a lot of things really well which makes me wonder why put her below the other 2. She seems a lot more usable than nobu and i cant speak for the assasin cuz i do not have him but it feels better than him from the looks of it, imo she shouldnt be even in this list but I do agree with everything you said about her here, just doesnt feel like enough of an issue to put her here.
About consort yu, agree with everything here too, i believe she belongs in this list but one thing, she was buffed, she does not remove her own buffs anymore(has a 2 turn CD so there is a downtime where you cant np or you lost them)
Stheno has 2 niches actually, in an anti male team(agaisnt a CQ) she perma charms the enemy while doing providing decent support for the other team members and can remove buffs. The other niche is a divine support(It provides around 70% atk up to divine servants). But outside of these 2 there is no reason to use her

So are you only playing on NA or something? Because some of those Servants have gotten buffs in NA by now, which were in JP at time of your video, which made them pretty good.

Like you said from the jump, 4*s are closer to people's hearts, so I'm surprised you had the temerity to do this. Still, as well reasoned as your lower rarity list was; so no big indignation from me. Of course I have different practical experience with the given units, such as having Skadi and BB to force Fran to loop; or getting Medusa Lily when she was new. Comparing base kit to her upgrades now I cant personally call her bad but I get it. 2 hit quick cards. why. For being the three welfares most in need of a buff (oldest), I'm surprised Nobu is so low on the list compared to SummerSca and Iri

She's honestly not bad as a backliner. Sure, it's not a good look to be competing with Cu, but if she actually hits a male enemy / someone with Sure Hit (which is frankly not that rare) she outperforms him massively.

You can just use BB. Her 1st skill both removes the debuff and gives one tick of immunity, so you can use it on turn 2 and not worry.
It's not just being in contention with Cú, she's also competing with Yu Lancer
At the very least, Assassin Yu has buff removal resistance for 3 turns. So, technically, she *can* spam her NP 3 times in a row and it... works. But if for ANY reason that skill is on CD, you're out of luck. Granted, it's only a 2 turns downtime skill, but there is a 2 turns downtime. At least she looks good.

Guys i need some tips. I wanted to get the best use of the 1/4 energy so i finished the 8 singularities very fast, but i just have a few servants nevel 50, 60 and 2 servants level 70. I don't materials and i know that at this point a should have a few level 80 already. I am doing the amazonas event, but since i don't have many servants with high level, i can just do a few missions per day. So what should i do? Should i try farming the free quests/Daily quest for materials? I was hesitating about it because people said its a waste.
Definitely take some time to level the servants you have if you haven't already, as you'll need higher level servants for 1.5 and the lostbelts, as well as events (like the one right now)

To be completely fair about Fran, you can always slap the mirror CC on one of her quick cards in order to prevent the stun; it doesn't fully fix her, but it's a huge improvement.
for some reason I expected Saber Lily to be here. Thank God she wasn't. My precious lvl100 princess deserves bеtter.
She's got a lot of issues, like terrrrrible base stats. But free AoE Sabers aren't common, and her NP modifier is unusually high.
I think being "highest AoE damage free Saber" is a decent place to be.

I maybe think chacha could work with reines buffed but she would still be outclassed with my 120 np5 10/10/10 fou'ed Morgan in my support list

I just use Chacha for the gold exp farming. Her along with Bunyan and another aoe zerk can finish a nose in 2-3 minutes
