The big thing to note how busted Kintoki was, he was a QUICK servant during the buster meta, and he was very good, still.
He was carrying Quick on his back(alongside Jack and Okita) before Skadi became a thing.
The funniest part:
He was a RIDER that did a better job at star generation than most assassins at that time.
There is a reason why lasagna (formerly DW) has not allowed his and chloe's welfare event to not be in main interlude, all welfares would be irrelevant (that and raids are hard to program for solo play).
It makes me really happy to see Kagetora on the list, she's probably my favorite lancer in the game. I wish he had mentioned Ashwatthama and Lanling as honorable mentions, as I think they are both great, but its still a very good list.
She is THE BEST single target Lancer.
I've got Shishou on thanksgiving and while she's really hot and that massive extra damage is really good, I find Kenshin actually more practical on most content. Plus she is really fun and her animations are amazing.

But hey it's your opinion, I'll let the love for your waifu kagetora influence your decision, but Enkidu is possibly the best solo unit in the game after shi huang, and does the most damge with his np, before extra damage modifiers. Then melusine...she has a 100% battery, both aoe AND single target np, crit star production and absorb, another 30% np battery, attack up, damage cut, and max hp up...all by herself...but yeah take your waifu whose every skill minus the crit charisma last one turn, faaaaaar superior
Welfare getting put into F2P or even special interludes(like Seraph) for them after so long, would be absolutely beautiful. I'm one of those unfortunate players that joined early enough that Kentoki Rider was one of the most wanted 4stars, and the full first act wasn't even available.
Both Atalantas make me extremely happy and gave back surprisingly good returns.
I am happy to have both of them. My friend who just started got Atalanta Alter.

The sad part about Mash and which you didn't mention (presumably because of spoilers), is what happens to her skill kit once you hit Lostbelts. That's what made me drop her out of my main party in the end, since she no longer provided the abilities I needed for my party compositions
Meanwhile me who always use her in losbelt. Well mainly for 20% extra bond
George does her job but better to be honest, the only things mash has over him are that she costs 0, the fact that assassins won't deal x2 damage to her and the higher level cap.
George gets a casual 40% defense buff (+20% with the NP), a 3 turn taunt and guts plus a nice heal AND maxed out coin skills / NP if you roll on the FP gacha enough.
Btw... You can use Mash original form in Losbelt 6 later. I didn't really understand the story tho.
@@pucci405 Eh, Georgios doesn't offer the same things at all. Pre-Lostbelt post-Camelot Mash is a beast of a party support. The defence buff with the huge damage cut, the invincible and NP charge, the taunt and then that godly NP with even more defence, and an attack buff too. Georgios has almost none of that. A taunt doesn't help the party against an enemy that attacks the entire party for instance.
A lot of the comparison has to do with how they're used. Georgios is a great tank but he doesn't support the party outside of drawing single target attacks in most situations. Mash simply has a wider kit overall, with the Lostbelt Mash sporting two separate taunts for different situations while Lostbelt Mash desperately needs that buff that she has on JP to get any use of the first skill.
@@Slvrwlf I meant to compare him to lostbelt Mash not OG Mash, her kit does get much much worse as you said. (1 dead skill, 2 taunts which should have just been a single skill and a hit based defensive np? *Pain*)
“What about VR Mash,” is a valid point considering you are forced to use her against Lost Belt content and, now, a good chunk of events, largely negating her status as an amazing tank and relegating her to a CE holder- a role she is great at, but any 1 star servant can perform that role almost as well.
Here's a little love for Perceval, why cause he can support the team through taunt and heals (making him very nice as a tank/secondary damage dealer) and... he can loop his np! Mind you, it's probably dicey without castoria but that is still impressive.

As someone with both Archer and Caster Gil at level 100, NP5, bond 15, 10/10/10, 2000/2000, I really hope both of them get buffs replacing their charisma skills at some point, since the game has really moved past skills with only one effect. Even Quetz, the only other Servant with charisma A+ besides the three Gils, got hers replaced.

when I play fgo, I usually have a pretty "no thoughts, head empty, buster aoe nps" mindset, and I haven't been having too much trouble making it through the game. I love these super in-depth looks at the best and worst servants, and I have a question:
Do I have to care about which characters are the best, or can I make it through the game using characters that were on the 'bad' lists?
If anyone replies to this, that would be super helpful!
Except some servants like phantom of the opera and Jekyll and Hide i'm sure you can. Just be prepared to have and experience similar to Dark souls
Everyone works IMO, playing the game's basically becoming a swiss knife: you just need the right tools for the right enemies

Every servant is usable if they are built with right and have the right supports. It’ll just be more difficult than using others. Like I love Gareth even though she’s fairly middle of the road in terms of servants, but knowing when to bring a character and how to use them is important as well
Since the game allows you to grail servants and there's no competition you can just use your favourites. But if you want to do the really hard battles without command spells or quartz then you'll need to get some of the good supports like Castoria. One or two of those will enable you to use every other servant you like (except the really bad early ones that just don't work.)
Every character in the game is usable and should be able to beat whatever content the game throws at you since the game isn't very difficult given if you actually know what you're doing i.e. Class advantage, using the right supports, knowing mechanics and team building (which you would need if you wanted to beat some CQs)
Plus we have so many ways to improve our servant's capabilities (Grailing, Fou Paws, CC, CEs, Supports) that we can pretty much use whoever we want.
Thank you for this kind of list, also providing some alternatives for their classes. I noticed that mostly in the list are ST. Gladly I have everyone and the alternatives except for JP servants that have yet to be release in NA.
I would like to nominate Lambadaryllis,given how she is able to loop three turn with damage similar to Paravarti in the Skadi dynasty(without castoria)
You are lying , her dmg are potato at np1 and she needs to at least do a npaa with a crit on one of her art card to loop , plus base parvati outdmg her already so how could she hope to do that with parvati amped by 2 skadi

I love that Shiki is just Queen of 4 Star Assassins, and heck, ST Arts Assassins in entirety. Every single other ST Arts Assassin always gets the question of "how do they compare to Shiki". Not even 5 Stars escape this. When Old Man Li came out, a LOT of people asked "how does he compare to Shiki". A brand new, super hyped 5 Star assassin, several years after Shiki's event, and even he can't escape her shadow.
For me I agree with Fae Tristan and most of the list. Im going to add Caenis as a pick for Lancer. Her skills are for me useful and she did get a few buffs. Damage cut/Guts/Able to lower enemies attack/Buster up with attack up stack...but to each thier own opinions. Plus shes a tank so really looking foward to her on the upcoming Olympus banner. Shes carried me on JP. :^;
I think this is a pretty good list overall. If I were to change two things, I'd swap Gil out for Helena based on JP's current state. Helena's 50% self-charge on top of her support capabilities make her both the best 4* support as well as a very good farmer.
Second, Hephaestion is the biggest oversight IMO. Her 100% personal self-battery as well as effectiveness against 7 different classes are incredible both for farming 90+ nodes as well as clearing bosses. And her NP is easily spammable. Finally, she's the best option currently available for dealing with Alter Ego servants other than going for a limited SSR (Kama) or heavily investing into Baobhan Sith's appends.
Honestly I had Hephaestion on here as an honorable mention but cut her for time. Everything you said is accurate but I want to see how they handle others in her class before placing her too highly. At present though she is very powerful for the early game, her attack is just kind of meh
@@klidge Perfectly reasonable. Thanks for the response. I would tend to agree she's more ideal of a 90+ node farmer than boss killer once bosses get really chunky since she's going to hit a 1.5x multiplier than a 2.0x in most cases (outside of against casters and Alter Egos) and her battery has a long cooldown. I'm sure with Castoria + Tamamo that takes care of those issues, but then you're getting into expensive supports. As a farmer though she's been pretty invaluable for me in just two events since like Nito, I'm not sitting there worried about whether the event's CE has charge or not, and 150k-200k enemies are reasonable enough for her to deal with.
Honestly, even without the buff to Helena for the 50% self battery, I'd still put her above CasGil. Now, while I do not have CasGil myself, I do sometimes use Emiya, and heavily use my grailed Suzuka, who both have the same 'Fire the NP to clear one wave, and generate 40+ stars to get crits on the next wave' mentality... and it is very much an unreliable strategy. You will get screwed over by bad card RNG every other time you try to rely on it.
Additionally, Helena's rainbow buff is better than just a normal attack buff, though I admit Gil is better at supporting Arts specifically, and her team battery helps in the 'use 3 NP's to clear nodes' meta. And her NP hits harder if she gets the 80% chance NP damage amp, as well as having a better secondary effect that lets her be used in final nodes that have very high HP bosses in her Defense drop.

@@thegamerfe8751 I don't need to have him to know that his strategy of 'I hope to god I get the right cards next turn' is inherently unreliable outside of solo scenarios. And I also don't need to have him to know that based on just skills he's not as generic as Helena.
Getting Herc from the starter banner honestly was both a blessing and a curse. Because I steamrolled pretty much everything in Part 1 with him. So my other servants were so underleveled that it came back to bite me in the ass during EoR/Lostbelt

Believe it, because she actually can even before JP raised her lv cap to 90, as long as that Mash has healing CC set and you have decent RNG with Goetia's attacks. Do note that they only disable us from using our Mash, not friend's Mash lol.

When you mentioned single target arts sabers, my mind immediately jumped to Oji-san Munenori, he might not be the best but he carried me through most of the campaign and he’ll always hold a place in my heart for that.
Him, Emiya, Wu, Liz, Miyu, and all the other four stars I pulled during events as a free to play (never spent a cent on gacha)
I like pop's but his problem is he's pop's. All his skill last 1 turn great sword master but low stamina

Only problem I'd have with the tier list is the berzerker honorable mention, since I think that summer Jalter is better since she got some form of survivability, an NP battery. Which pretty much allows her to give you a broken bar on turn one with the nice support or just on her own depending on the boss.

As much as I love Hokusai, I’d argue that Saber Fran deserves a mention.
Her NP gain is absolutely cracked and she has some great utility to go with it. With a Quick kit she makes plenty of stars on her NP and face cards, which boosts her damage and NP gain further, on top of packing buff removal, Attack and NP DMG as well as a stun chance on her NP.
But Arts is a better card type, so Hokusai is better.

Santa Karna seem to be forgotten , he is so broken and the welfare status boost him alot but simply by the fact that Skadi hasnt got any buff or any new company , quick servants still have to rely on that face card rng
@@xenoemblem7 this is cap , card type doesnt make a better servant , plus saber fran np spammibility is one of the most busted in the game with a 80% np gain amp currently the highest in the game on skill , high np dmg and a buff removal
Finally someone how great saber fran is she is so underrated , imo meanwhile being obviously inferior to lancelot , she is def relatively better than yagyu who is just overrated , and pretty equal to hokusai and saito
As someone who got Baobhan Sidhe 4 times, when rolling for Barghest to get the 2 4 stars in Morgan's banner, which i got at NP 2, i agree that she is one of the best single target quick archers.
She and Morgan carried me to Solomon alone when i opened my account in JP in less than 2 weeks.
Im already saving for her and her mother in NA....and i rolled whenever i saw her in the few banners she has had to try and snag 1 last copy
She is currently my only level 100 servant, and first one i have in both accounts, with Arthur at Level 95 in NA
While I genuinely understand why Ryougi Shiki is the best 4 star assassin I’m more a fan of Kiritsugu Emiya. His ability to crit star gen and crit is insane and he’s one of the few servants in fgo that I know of that has a three turn ignore invincibility which is extremely strong along with his fifty percent crit power up buff. I know the general complaint is that his np gen is terrible and I can absolutely understand that but I love him nonetheless
Emiya usually outscales Shiki in longer fights where his better crit DPS and, crit rate debuff, and NP drain have time to be given value on a proper comp and also generally scales harder the better your CE lineup is when you have more crit star/NP gain options to feed him resources. For the purposes of quick burst looping though it's def easier to use Shiki.
Also he's actually one of Shiki's better partners when you remember targetable taunt exists and stacking same class type is often really important against bosses.
When I realized that i have fricking 5 np5 beserker playing for Three years and not a single trace or Heracles in my account i know the gacha hates me

for the 5 star video Oberon is my pick for best 5 star the man fits in any team, also a shout out to Melusine for being a perfect DPS character who can be ST or AOE she's been my MVP in so many events it isn't even funny.
We all know who will win best 5 star, it isnt even a contest. But I can see both Oberon and Melusine making it to top 5 maybe.

@@altirius that's debatable. While similar in many ways, they are still different units. Personally I believe that Junao is better, cuz that is up to personal preference. I can see however him being replaced on that top 5 by Morgan depending on what Klidge thinks.
God I love Heracles so much. he's one of my most favorite servants of all time. He has been with me since the beginning since I got him from the starter pool, and I mean it literally when I say he has carried me through every piece of content since 2020. When I deleted my old account in 2019 and redownloaded the game in 2020 I got herc instead of emiya for my beginning servant, and I used him in everything. Cause when I learned about welfare servants I decided that free servants would always be worth it, so I decided to always get them. Forward to the last week of gilfest and I'm looking at oniland when I come to the horrifying realization that I would need LB2 beaten to participate, at the time I was at Orleans. So with 3 weeks left I assemble a team of mash, iris, herc, and whatever I needed from friend support to make a mad dash to oniland. So yeah I speak from experience when I say he can get you through everything. And funnily enough after about a year and some change later with a skadi, spishtar, Chad Orion, god arjuna, and a berserker musashi I still use him in content cause he is still an absolute beast all this time later.
I didn't really liked him but since he was my first 4 star servant and accompanied me towards the entire game i realized how good he was

oh bro I feel ya, I started out the game on January 1st this year and managed to pull both Emiya and Hurc from the starting gacha (at the time I had no idea that both were godlike servants, I was just happy to get characters I actually knew and loved), Hurc carried me so much through the campaign, and now that I got him to bond 10 a few days ago, hes gonna carry me even harder, I almost got him to level 100 (hes 98 rn and I dont have enough QP for the final palengenesis, rip lol), and Im slowly but surely working towards getting his skills to 10/10/10

I mostly agree with your picks for each of these classes except Archers, which I think Asvatthaman should be there or at least an honorable mention.
Man, if you do a top 10 best 5 star list, I strongly suggest to not bother putting Skadi, Merlin, Waver, Tamamo Vitch ( light ) and Castoria on there. Why? It's obvious. We already know and then it'll be like watching the other FGO content guys who basically made the same videos saying the same things about the same servants the same way. Let's talk about other servants that are not supports for looping ... Oh and Fae Lancelot too I guess. Hyped to hell and back though not as much as Castoria.
That’s the point of the best in class. Pick the one that’s the best of em and go from there that way other servants can get a time in the light
There should be put into three categories, these servants are amazing in their own way but depending on if they are supports, sub-supports, or main dps will either make or break your team.
For example, going a against a Rider only team where you have to use Assassins only and trying not to get anyone killed challenge, Osakabahime, Katoru, and Mash are your beast support choice.
Osakabahime give pretty good buff when you get her NP charge to max, she has her own defense AND she can provide attack buffs for everyone in the team.
Katoru is great for debuffs rather that is his NP charge doing it or his main skills, which are perfect for shutting down crit boss and crit enemies in general.
Mash is a bit tricky because post Mash give EVERYONE defense buffs with her main abilities until you hit the lost belts chapters. (The outfit is optional to removes, but some chapters the outfit is required).
But those arw some of the examples I have for Servants that are not 4 stars, but there are 4 star characters like the ones I mentioned up above that should be categorized baised off of the three main fighting styles.

Great video, I've been playing fate for a couple years pretty much everyday & there were a few things I didnt notice about some of these servants, like how I'm under using my saber hokusai.
But did you catch for BB @ 18:33 you accidentally said 5 turn cooldown instead of 4 turn? Just was curious if you caught that

I was too weak/full of school work when the rider kintoki event and rerun happened. I'm not sure if I should have hope due to the short Eresh Christmas event though...
Kintoki( is the only walfare I didn't get because of diploma defense. Sitting and waiting for Onigashima interlude..
I got to use a friend's Astraea once after coming back to the game this year from a work-induced hiatus. I fell in love immediately, and got exceedingly lucky because she came to rate-up afterwards and I was pretty ready. She's not NP5 yet, but I already Grailed her and haven't once come to regret it.

Before I got herc bond 10 I used to have him in party at all time. Mines is level 100 max fou triple 10. I have used him against so many bosses

Ash is very strong. He’s just somewhat tricky to use but once he gets going he’s amazing. But he’s a solid a tier archer imo
when i started the game, the only thing that helped me survive the early game was both mash and zhuge liang, one of the first casters i got in my second roll along with tamamo ,without knowing how broken they were.
whenever a boss appeared with a class i didn have a strong enough servant to counter, my last resort was
"Mash Beatdown" literally buffing her to the extreme as she does and takes neutral damage so she never was "weak" agains it.
she helped me until i got kagetora in the event and she became my main dps, didnt know she was that good compared to the other 4 star.....since she is like the ONLY 4 star i have.

Oof. Thankfully I raised at least one or two servant, each for all NP type, for most of the classes (the only gold servants I had was Reines and Siegfried from tutorial for months until GudaGuda 4 came, so I raised the low stars to fill in the slot), so counter classing wasn't much of a problem, though it went pretty slow. Damage dealer Reines and Ushi were my early MVP before Kagetora came lol.
tamamo was one of my first 4-5 star servents and i got kagetora not long after and god damm those 2 women carried me through most battles i got napoleon later to deal with sabers for her
A little late but, for Lancer how good would Vlad III be in your opinion? I can't help but love him as a tank servant and would love an opinion or two on his usefulness on a whole.
He is a monster. It's why I'm trying to get bond15 with him if you do he gets all 12 of his lives...what a fucking unit...also of course #1 was obvious hands down if a fight breaks out over this know I'm on your side👍

Hercules was my free 4 star but I only have him bond 8 because I'm dumb and used summer Jean berserker instead because a bad friend dared me to not use him until I beat all main story sections
Nitocris' 1st skill buff still puts her above CasGil!
As much as I love both, but Casgil is a better all-rounder while nitocris' potential is mostly limited to farming
Gil is not only a great support but also can deal great dmg himself, generates alot of stars, ensures debuffs land, arts buff, defense buff and crit dmg buff etc
Not enough, imo. Casgil still offers more things than her in the long run.
Kagetora is the GOAT at Lancer. Not only a beautiful design (with the hood), but hangs with all the top servants.
Starting this whole hell because emiya is such a cool character,im glad to see he has become one of if not argurably the best 4 star archer in the game,its nice seeing your favourite character being absolute unit lmao.
He is tbh as long aoe go , he even is better than ssr archer like jeanne , napoleon and arguably arjuna

Awesome Choices for Sabers. I prefer the one that is more self-sufficient, but both are really good.
Good list with the Archer's but Skadi brakes Atalanta for me... Atalanta is so busted with Skadi backing her, that I haven't used Emiya since Amazones event. Emiya is technically to he best Archer in my Chaldea, but Atalanta is currently ruling the class alongside Arash.
You could of at least mentioned Parvati. She's actually strong without Skadi, and can loop on her own if you get lucky with you cards. Her AOE charm in on NP can get pretty ridiculous at times.
Your pick for Riders was obvious, but it's the only correct choice. That said for newer players, Astolfo or the 4 ⭐ in the FP gacha in JP would be their only option.
The Caster one should've been a tie. Nito has such great farming utility.
Same as Riders. For newer players, Kiritsuga, or Carmella are the best option. Kiritsuga is still useful though his skills need a buff, Carmella is a solid assassin, with kinda insane NP gain rate.
Berserker same as Riders, and Assassin, except he has no equals or equivalents. Ibaraki is the closest thing you get.

I have a question for astraea. If I gave her a CE that buffs arts cards effectiveness by 25%, and then i activated her 2nd skill that buffs arts performance by 30%, does that mean the total buff would be 55%? or is it different because the skill says "arts performance" while the CE says "arts cards"?

Its kinda funny how most Ruler class can either be a boxer of a wrestler and Wrestler class can be an entire class of its own and it already have 2 in it

Well, given my predictions from last video, 6 out of 10 isn't that bad. And I did do a good job predicting some of the Honorable Mentions.
Truth be told, I was half wanting to predict Rider Kintoki but second-guessed myself because I wanted to see if you would go for a non-contrarian choice. And I forgot Fairy Knight Tristan existed.
Alright...5-Star Time...
Saber: Artoria Pendragon (Her buffs saved her from the accursed "Year One Syndrome" a lot of these sorts of units struggle with. Now she can reliably wave clear and Buster Brave Chain. Nice feathers in her cap, er, crown)
Archer: Super Orion (Has the ability to solo some of the hardest content in the game. Plays under the style of "spam NP to get swole" and does so in spades. Has some of the highest crit damage of all Servants)
Lancer: Fairy Knight Lancelot, aka Mesuline (Pick your poison: efficent single-target Arts boss killer, or AoE Buster spammer with 100% charge?)
Rider: Reines, aka Sima Yi (She's like Waver, but a Rider! Is a bit more focused on assisting a single unit and the Rider class does get in the way of stars, but she can help in getting that extra 50% NP Charge for units that need it...IF I HAD ONE!)
Caster: Artoria Pendragon, aka Castoria (Yeah, no surprise here. She essentially did to Arts Cards what Skadi did to Quick Cards, and then some. She possesses the strongest form of defense on paper: an invincibility that cannot even be penetrated by Ignore Invincibility)
Assassin: Koyanskya of Light (Buster Reload Strats. Dare I say more?)
Berserker: Arjuna Alter (One of the strongest wave-clearing damage Servants ever created, period. I think there's a reason DW never gave this guy another rerun, only time will tell if Lasagna will give the people his power as well...)
Ruler: Jeanne D'Arc (One of the best stall units in the game. Especially since she no longer has to stun herself every time she NP's)
Avenger: Space Ishtar (A legend amongst farming Servants. She is compatible with all Card Metas thanks to her flexible skill set)
Moon Cancer: Summer BB (Gimmicky...yet fun. She can freeze your team's card lineup for three turns, allowing for guaranteed Brave Chains in most situations)
Alter Ego: Bazett, aka Manannán mac Lir (Can break the rules of the game with her Fragarach NP; allowing her the potential to kill bosses just by countering their attacks and debuffs. Basically Angra but better worked out)
Foreigner: Katsushika Hokusai (I'm honestly not all that experienced with the 5-Star Foreigners, but Hokusai does have some interesting potential to ramp down an enemy's attack and wave clear with her Arts NP)
Pretender: Oberon (I mean, what other choice do we have? He and Koyanskya of Light essentially revolutionized the Buster Servant and created their own niche in the looping Meta)
While I agree with most of your predictions, I'd say that Ruler would either be QSH for his tank and crit playstyle, or Himiko for her Buster support abilities; Alter Ego will be Douman, his skills are absolutely busted for the right servants, and Foreigner would be either Van Gogh as essentially quick Orion, or KoyaDark for support capabilities
Fair guesses. QSH honestly fled my mind whilst compiling the list, not sure why given his sheer ability to solo.
i think old mothman is a better ruler cuz that mf is nuts.and van gogh is definitely better than hokusai.
Bad take for Ruler, even though she didn't come out on NA at the time of your comment, she was out in JP. But Himiko is just muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch better than Jeanne.

I finally got my CasCu-Tomoe Gozen-Yang Guifei team mostly online!
Even tho its a bit of a spoiler i feel like you should have mentioned Ortinax
One of the reasons being that what it lacks in defensive support
It more then makes up with the ability to delay 2 turns with 2 self taunts
And even be able to deal damage to some extent
Especially after LB5
And the other reason being that its litearlly forced throughout the 2nd arc
Frankly I feel sorry for my Heracles, because I got Cu as my first SSR when I started FGO back up a few years ago during the male Valentine's banner, which I was ironically rolling on FOR Heracles (rather than reroll the account for him, I went with Carmilla because that's who I got on my first account's roll and felt nostalgic for her). When I first played the game before quitting, Cu Alter had been one of my desired SSRs (in part because "haha red card go brr"). So despite having summoned Heracles and even have him NP2, I never use him unless I need to save the party cost somewhere or just feel like running double solo beasts.
Also, I fully agree that Welfares should be either added simply to FP gacha and/or their event is released to the rare prism store. Part of that is my bias against unobtainable units in any game, though... to the point I'm not particularly keen on limited servants.
Funny enough I didn’t get Hurc until last year. Cu Alter was my second SSR after da Vinci and he hard carried me through the story. He still is one of my favs to this day even though he’s fallen off a bit in the meta. But, he’ll always hold a place in my heart
I feel like another saber honorable mention should absolutely be Yagyuu Tajima-no-Kami Munenori.
Now, he may not have huge crits and flashy numbers, but as a burst unit? Oh boy. His NP hits hard, his skills give big arts and refund, and also attack debuff on the opponent. I find he can comfortably refund (and sometimes even get *more* NP than he started with!) on a NPAA chain provided he crits, but with his first skill and some help crit he will and he will crit hard.

Love to see best friend Kenshin on the list, even if she is rather low on the list. Seeing King Gil is also good because I loved him so much on Babylonia. Meanwhile Herc spooked me half a year ago and he is sitting as a NP2 lvl 1 on the corner. Not a fan of his gamestyle.

Luckily, when I fought Goetia for the first time I had a bond 10 Herc in my friends list. Now, my Herc is bond 10 and would like a chunk out of Goetia himself
Meanwhile I played a 30 turn slug fest with a support mash(obviously I couldn't use my own).
If you max sith's 2nd append skill you basically have a high speed incantation build in on turn 1, i literally just slap a black grail on her and goes apeshit.

I joined during the end of the Kintoki event and couldn't ascend him 100% 😢💔

Nobu is busted and does stupid damage. All you need is a support Merlin and you melt enemies. If you add in Caesar you get the crit stars, NP up and even more critical damage.
My personal favorite lineup is Waver Osakabehime and Merlin with Nobu. Great way to cut down trees if you know what I'm saying.
She's fine on her own, but near broken against bosses with support.
Started this game like month ago, kept watching reviews and sorts and didnt understand why you guys keep saying mash was important but blindly followed your tips and boom, she saved me countless times and rewarded her and me with skill all to 10.(the only char with all 10 skills)
I'm also playing this game pretty much blind and my main issue with mash early game is she develops really slowly. By the time I made it out of France I already had 2 max leveled 4 star servants while mash didn't even reach her 3rd ascension yet.
She served me well in and post Camelot but didn't do much for the majority of the game.

I mostly have high damage characters and a lot of berserkers.
I have 3 possible combat ready support servants excluding mash.
Idol X, Stheno(who has the worst noble phantasm ever useless against females which is the majority of the servants I have fought), and baobhan. Good in their own right but mash's low cost allows me to carry an extra craft essence.
Jean darc looks promising but I'm low on ascension materials and going to need a lot of pure prisms before she's ready for combat.

After Fae Tristan joined NA Chaldea i realized that Klidge somehow forgot proper Trsitan exists, he literally is Fae Tristan but better damage.
I remember when he first released, Emiya hardly has any workable kit. His Clairvoyance doesn't make enough stars, his Magecraft is only for his Face Cards, can't do a proper NP Chain and his mediocre to below standard Atk Buff
As someone who still uses Saber Lancelot as my go-to Saber servant, I DO wish he had some sort of survivability for himself honestly. But I still love his crit damage
He'd be absolutely unstoppable with a 2-hit 3 turn evade on skill 2. Cut the cooldown by a turn too and suddenly every single skill has the same downtime
