This is my dream car. When I saw transformers in theaters and saw the camaro I ,as many kids did, fell in love with the car. I’m now 18 years old and have worked at my local pizza joint as a driver for close to 2 years in pursuit of one day owning a 5th gen ss. I could go buy one right now but my plan is to save up more so I have the funds to keep the car.
I’m glad to hear y’all like the 2013s. I have a rally yellow 2013 1LE. Only 96 were made. I wanted one, searched and searched and found it. I love it. Last year of the retro look, first year of the return of the 1LE. One year model.
It is great to see a younger person who appreciates an 8 cylinder. He's got himself a nice clean example. My dream car was a 77/78 Trans Am with the 400ci and 4 speed. It was more than 7 years later that I bought an 84 in black/gold with WS6, aero package and the 305 H.O.
They thought Millennials would not like cars? They are horribly incorrect 90% of guys from high school liked cars lol. My first car was a g35 I love that car 🔥
I am so happy to hear that news! As a high school teacher I will be honest around 2012 I did't have many students talking about cars. They weren't even interested in getting a license. I am happy to say that has greatly changed!
That’s the one I want not the new 18 the curves on the 13 are perfect sound is perfect and very close to the old one without looking tarded like the current gen 2018-2019 camaro and the mustang this 13 is sexy even if it was built on the last gen Pontiac GTO chassis literally lol.
If anyone know any problems with this car let me know I’m looking to buy one soon. My mom got a 2010 black Manuel and my friend had a white and inferno orange automatic. I was lucky enough to test both back when they first released. It brings back memories and no other model year could compare to the 2010-2013. So many good memories. I keep hearing how solid this car is.
I am an owner of a 2011 2SS RS convertible. I traded my Grand Sport for it from Carvana. Best decision I have made. Keep in mind these cars are very reliable. There is on part that you need to know about. These cars and many others have a 4 cylinder change over to save fuel. This option hurts lifters over a period of time. This is a simple inexpensive fix. Have a mechanic shut this off via your ecu. The smartest way is about 3 grand. Which is a VVT delete. This gives you an option to go to a little bigger cam. Other than this issue. A very reliable car. I highly suggest getting one with the Heads Up Display and the retro gauges. Find a 2SS! Is it fast? Definitely yes. When you turn off the traction. It’s really off all the way. You can have fun in a safe place.
Idk if it’s me but I think this body style is the best for the camaro it’s truly a retro look of the 60s version, but glad to see someone get their dream car I finally got mines I’ve always wanted a wk1 Jeep srt8 since I was 14 , and finally got it at 22.
I miss my 2013 fully loaded Camaro SS 2SS with factory hurst shifter. Kooks long tube headers, cam and NPP exhaust option! Sounded bad ass and hauled serious ass

Bro this video,I watched this video when it first came out when I was 16 and after watching it I’ve wanted a 5th Gen SS so badly and fast forward today I finally got it,thank for showing me my dream car bro
Agreed! Which is a shame because I love the pinched front end without the circular headlamps. There l are a couple of aftermarket options that largely remedy the tails, though, if you’re into that!
I had a few jobs during highschool. Didn't have much money so I had an 83 Olds Firenza. BUT after highschool I got my first real job. I bought a 1987 Formula Firebird. Bright Red with T-Tops. A few years later I bought a 1995 Formula Firebird.
Last year for my birthday I bought this car for myself with the 6-Speed manual and the 2SS package. Not sure if you mentioned it in the video but the name of the color is "Blue Ray". From a distance it looks dark grey, but in sunlight as you move closer to the car it changes to a metallic dark-blue. Sweet. Amazing sound from inside and outside. Accelerating from a stop in first gear sounds like a monster waking up. The interior of my car is a bit different. Instead of black with grey like yours it's black with beige. And the door trim lights up at night. This is my fourth Camaro and I love it!
The reason why I think the 13 is the best fifth gen is because it has the looks of the 10-13 model years (not a fan of the 14-15 body style) and it also has the updated steering wheel, gauges, and the best of all, MyLink radio. I hated the older radios, it just didn’t fit the car. With the 13 you get modern interior styling with the “old school” Camaro look (I say old school because look at the many body style changes over the years all the way to 2020). I will own a 13 in a few months if I can find one. They’re getting rare (unless you want one with over 100,000 miles)
When i was 17 i took a ride in a brand new 07 300c srt8 and i loved it i always wanted one, i got it about a decade later but it was well worth it.. now i plan on trading up to a Camaro zl1... really any year that's not the 12 since i want a touchscreen and the 2012 did not come with one. Pretty intense to see your goals come to life great video idea glad i subbed!
i bought this car about a year and half ago.you can see it in my display pic. its a 2013 2ss non rs model did some changes to it like dual color tone, billy bob exhaust, kooks headers. Im looking to get Rotofab airintake for it. Anyhow there are so much things im planning to do with my car but i want go slow and enjoy the process. I just turned 25 and im a long haul truck driver so cant get to drive it that much but hey whenever i drive it, it sure makes me forget everything else. We all heard money can't buy happiness but it can buy you a camaro which is pretty much the same thing lol. 2015 z28 is one of my few dream cars.
5th gens are the best they embody the look of the perfect modern day muscle car cant wait to get mines im definitely camming it adding headers and exhaust
Currently looking at a 2013 SS convertible for my wife, so this video definitely helps out. Question though, I thought in 2013 the engine put out 426HP and not 460. That it bumped up to 460 a few years later. Also wonder how hard it would be to create some airflow through that non-functional duct on the front. Great video again though.
They got 455HP starting with the '16 models. Some bolt-on upgrades and synthetic fluids could help a 5th gen match that rating. Hopefully you'll find one even though prices can be ridiculous right now. One thing you should look for: if you find an automatic, definitely get the engine checked out and budget an active fuel management delete kit for the L99. Those systems don't age well and can wreak havoc on your engine (and your bank account) if the lifters involved cause problems. I got a '12 model with the LS3; no AFM but apparently it uses the same type of lifters.
That was a polar opposite! I really loved the IROZ Zs. If you had one what color would it be? The Prelude is a pretty cool car. To bad they don't make that model anymore!
I’ve never seen this vid but I’m very familiar with this guy , and yea I saved for a Camaro as well and I’m loving it. Worked hard and saved and continue to. The day I got it I drove from the dealership right to work. 👍🏼 love this vid. Very inspiring to reach more goals. Like modifications lol 👍🏼

My first dream car was a Camaro and it's the one I currently own 2010 V6 a few modifications, although I'm planning on upgrading somewhere between a 2013-2015 (keeping it 5th gen) Camaro SS convertible 🤩🤩
2013 ss,this is my first camaro and never raced a day in my life till yesterday against a v6 maro and didnt beat him as bad as i thought i would, any suggestions on where to go to get a tune done and or any other affordable mods i can do to improve my rides performance ? Thinkn of gettn flowmaster 40 series
Raiti's Rides you’re welcome, Even tho the 5th gen is outdated now, I still want to have one as my own even tho I’m planning to buy a Hellcat Wide body. Both Chevy and Dodge have a special place in my heart when it comes to American brand automobiles.
SS means Super Sport? Damn, all these years I thought it meant Super Sonic. I've got to put my pen down and get out more. LOL After this review, you even have me wanting to go find one. Kudos to Spencer in his pick. If he can do half as well in stock market picks, you'll be working for him Joe. :-)
Peter Carey I am so glad you liked this one. It reminded me when I bought my dream car when I was 17, a 1985 Corvette. The one car I actually had tears coming down my face when the new owner drove it away. Spencer is a great guy! Maybe one day he will fun Raiti’s Rides! That way I can do this full time!😮👍🏻
Seriously, I did like this video, especially on THIS Camaro. You know I love my Vettes, but after your review I started wishing I had a little more disposable income to purchase one. My wheels (ideas) starting turning as soon as you got up to the upper scoop on the front bumper which you said is fake. I thought I know someone who could remedy that and make it functional. Then you got to the rather flimsy plastic engine cover. Again, I have a young friend, who btw is a Millennial, who is a genius at metal working. Again, problem solved. I also liked your idea about having the red, white and blue emblem put on it below the CAMARO badge. What can I say, I like most little things in life, especially when they can make BIG statement. :-) Kinda like wearing a $5k Armani custom made suit and finding just the right lapel pin to adorn it with. Then again, the same principal applies if you're wearing an off the rack $199.00 Robert Hall suit. Yeah, you younger guys probably don't remember "Robert Hall," just replace my reference to that with Wal Mart. lol As to you working for Spencer and doing reviews full time, wouldn't that be a kick. I can't even imagine the plethora of venue(s) that you'd come with. I'd probably have to double-dose on my One-A-Day vitamins that I already have to take to keep up with your One-A-Day reviews.
Now that would be epic. You've just raised the avenues of "possibilities" to infinity and beyond. Tell Spencer to start saving more $$$. It would help if he bought his own seat on the Stock Exchange. BTW, I've now got the title for my next book , "The Roots of Rait's Rides." This will be the prequel to " Raiti's Rides and The Rise to Stardom." Oh yeah, tell Tom his job is secure and my book for him will be titled, "How to Put Muscle Behind the Wheel of a Muscle Car." lol (I hope he knows how to drive a stick.) I've also decided that the authoring of my books will be done under the Nom de Plume of: "The Flowing Fountain Pen." Gotta run, have to place an order with Amazon for more ink , more One-A-Day Vitamins and a case Muscle Milk. No, the Muscle Milk isn't for me, it's for Tom and will dropped shipped by Drone direct to him.
@@RaitisRides I hope so. I'm 22 and drove a Ford Taurus since I was 16! The current market has prevented me from getting a newer year but I am beyond blessed to get this one with 54k miles. 2ss.
I used to want a 2010 Camaro for the longest time. I’m 18 years old now by the way. I bought my first car a 1995 Camaro. It wasn’t the best car it was a 5 speed manual I bought that when I was 17. Later on my dad bought a 2013 Infiniti G37 sedan and I liked it but I was still in love with the Camaro. But I took the G37 to the track one day with a friend who has a 2013 Camaro SS and I honestly thought I was going to lose but we took off and we were tied until 3 gear hit in the 7 speed auto transmission of the G37 and then I was gone. That day I realize that I fell in love with the G37 so 2 months before my 18th I bought a 2008 Infiniti G37 coupe and it’s been my baby since she has treated me amazing and she trolls muscle cars I would love to know when you will travel here to Houston so you can make a review on my 2008 Infiniti G37 journey coupe
Miguel Gonzalez that is an amazing story thank you so much for sharing it. I love so much how cars shape our lives and give us so many different experiences. If I make it to Texas I will take you up on that offer!👍🏻
You are high, a 2008 G37 does the 1/4 mile in 13.9 seconds. A 2013 Camaro SS will do it in 12.7 seconds. That isn’t just beating it, that’s spanking it. You’re not trolling any muscle cars.
I’m confused, you said camaros came back in 2010 but if you’ve watch transformers. There was a Camaro and it was a 2007 movie. Please explain, it’s confusing 😣.
2013 chevolet ss 1Le are $25000 , in reach of a Millennial just above min wage , In Australia millennials buy a 2010 hsv clubsport with 317kw for Just under $30000aud

Hate to disagree with you on something but the Plymouth Barracuda was released a month earlier than the Ford Mustang in 1964.
Just purchased mines 2013 camaro ss With the 6.2 v8 60,000 miles
2013 ss,this is my first camaro and never raced a day in my life till yesterday against a v6 maro and didnt beat him as bad as i thought i would, any suggestions on where to go to get a tune done and or any other affordable mods i can do to improve my rides performance ? Thinkn of gettn flowmaster 40 series
You definetly want to get it tuned. Add some long tube headers and less restrictive intake and exhaust!
Hello again im a big fan
Jose Gutierrez I’m very grateful for your support!👍🏻
It’s my Dream Car too, Sadly I didn’t have it until now.
Thanks for letting me share it with you!
Raiti's Rides you’re welcome, Even tho the 5th gen is outdated now, I still want to have one as my own even tho I’m planning to buy a Hellcat Wide body. Both Chevy and Dodge have a special place in my heart when it comes to American brand automobiles.
I love my 2014 camaro ss
Thanks for sharing your input and perspective! I really appreciate you watching!
That gen is gonna age well
I totally agree with you Tre!
Great car! Only thing I think is missing that gm didn’t include was the HUD
I can understand that!
I have an HUD on my 2013 2ss?
@@johndale8614 well I thought they didn’t
2011 Camaro SS mines has the HUD
SS or ZL1 can't decide which i like more
400hp automatic 425 manual
Yo, where does the 18 year old works at? 👀
Yeah, you younger guys probably don't remember "Robert Hall," just replace my reference to that with Wal Mart. lol
As to you working for Spencer and doing reviews full time, wouldn't that be a kick. I can't even imagine the plethora of venue(s) that you'd come with. I'd probably have to double-dose on my One-A-Day vitamins that I already have to take to keep up with your One-A-Day reviews.
Peter Carey I think I am going to have Spencer hire you to write for us!
Now that would be epic. You've just raised the avenues of "possibilities" to infinity and beyond. Tell Spencer to start saving more $$$. It would help if he bought his own seat on the Stock Exchange. BTW, I've now got the title for my next book , "The Roots of Rait's Rides." This will be the prequel to " Raiti's Rides and The Rise to Stardom." Oh yeah, tell Tom his job is secure and my book for him will be titled, "How to Put Muscle Behind the Wheel of a Muscle Car." lol (I hope he knows how to drive a stick.) I've also decided that the authoring of my books will be done under the Nom de Plume of: "The Flowing Fountain Pen."
Gotta run, have to place an order with Amazon for more ink , more One-A-Day Vitamins and a case Muscle Milk. No, the Muscle Milk isn't for me, it's for Tom and will dropped shipped by Drone direct to him.
Peter Carey man you are way too much! Thank you for making me laugh!
really dont know why people dont like 14-15 camaro in my opinion the front looks badass but the back i think they could had done better
Would this type of Camaro be good for a first car for a 17 year old ? Just like the look and feel of it and not into racing and all that
As long as you respect the power.
my dream car 2013 Camaro. :D
The engine Is missing The support bar that goes all The way horizontaly
Thanks for sharing that great input!
Camaro made me subscrib you from Norway
Driving 6 hours to get one tomorrow!
That is so awesome to hear! It will be worth it!
Jedi391 exactly!
Within a hairs breath away from that 10k. Happy Day!
It's crazy that I will be at 10k within 10 months! Thanks for being part of it!
I’m saving up right now let’s fucking go guys
You can do it Noah.
Raiti's Rides FUCK YA BRO I KNOW I CAN

Very cool Armando!
How easy is it to get this car
Speaking of Camaros(and that's a fine 2013 Chevy Camaro there)how about doing the 2019 Chevy Camaro LS/LT & the 2019 Chevy Camaro Hot Wheels Edition?
As soon as the 2019 Camaros are on the lot you got it! How do you feel about the restyle?
Does the 2014 Camaro SS have a functional hood vent?
Yes it does
Raiti's Rides 👍
what the price ?
Are you selling her, if so how much because that’s been my dream car since I was six and I want to make it my first
I’m confused, you said camaros came back in 2010 but if you’ve watch transformers.
Ben Chesterman the Camaro seems to be priced right!😊👍🏻
