We went between 28th December and 3rd January...5 nights, did the same activities plus whale watching, husky riding and snow mobile...amazing place. Saw the northern lights two nights running...the second night in town. Big tip for the northern lights...use your phone to look into the sky..it enhanced the magical colours...also keep your phone close to you as possible as the cold kills the battery really quickly
Hi can you please suggest some reliable car renting companies in norway as we are travelling from India in november and we have never tried self driving in snow. Some good car renting companies with driver and cost will be extremely helpful🙏🏻 Also B&b in and around tromso will be helpful. Thanks
Would you be able to tell me how long these activities took please? I’m planning a trip for next March and would be useful to know if it’s a whole day activity or a half a day activity?
I’m training right now to join the airforce to hopefully go into tacp. Doing the training program they list on the airforce page. Doing the 21 day course and more

I want to go to Tromso this january. My Question to any one who has been there how good is the puplic transport? Can I move around without needing a car or am I missing out on something?

When did you visit?
Hi I’m planning to go to tromso this March, i hope i can see northern lights
I hope that you can too. The longer you’re there, the better the chances 🤞🏼
What is the spot of the 1st hiking please?
Which month did y’all visit in? Seems like it was Feb?
Thank you for the great video, when did you visit it? On my research, it says the sun will not show up between late Nov to 14th of Jan? Is it true?
Thank you! And there will still be hours of brief sunlight, but it is true that you will not see the sun during about 30 days of the year.
Also, this video was filmed in early January of 2023.
I want to live there.. I'm from phillipines
Gonna Be Airforce Special Enlisted this Next Month.
Just Wanna Yes you Encouraged me to be better.
I will try to be a JTAC in the future.

Will 3 nights in mid feb is sufficient enough ? to see Northern lights??
It depends. There is never a guarantee to see the Northern Lights. The longer that you are there, the higher that your chances are to see them.
I just drove here from lofoten hoping to see something
If you're lucky with the weather.

Northern Baltics? Is that what it's classed as these days? I thought it was northern Scandinavia.
Congrats on MSgt dude.

You can get to the main tourist attractions easily, but if you want to go snowmobiling or feed reindeer you’ll need a ride since they’re out of town.
I'd like to add to the above comment that tour operators generally provide transportation from the city to the location and back.
What is the place called where you went to play with reindeer and how much did it cost ???
The Sami Reindeer village, and it was quite expensive. Probably around $100 a person if I recall.
Was it cold? 😂
No, the snow was shipped in specially for the tourists and is replaced every night while they are asleep. 😀
@@peterc.1618 yes it averages 47 degrees Celsius in winter
Northern Baltics? Man your way off, the Baltics are around the Baltic sea and that's way south of here.
where is it? 5:48
