Small videos are great, too. I learn something every time.

I was gonna make some obnoxious comment about 2 fuel tanks, 2 pumps, and a switch in-between, but remembered that my Ford F250 truck has 2 tanks, 2 pumps, and a switch in-between. And the truck is a lot newer than your beautiful classic Jag. so I guess no country has the market cornered on funky engineering. enjoyed the short vid, and how cool is it that your clock actually started working...that never happens!

Adam is the "Car Wizard" of Jaguar and his shop walls are looking cool too.

Love all of these, but shorter ones easier to digest on a limited time budget. Where were you 30 years ago when I needed this stuff??😊

The small repairs are just as important as the big ones and can also be the most fiddly, so I say keep these short takes going 👍

That is very true! Once again thanks for watching. TH-cam has told me that you are the subscriber that comments the most.

These short videos definitely help, Especially electrical. Maybe do a video on a full electrical walkthrough/check after the engine is back in the car?

Good job on this project! I enjoy your channel and learn a lot from these videos. I would be interested in seeing a video of a brake job on your xjs sometime, especially with the teves abs system, both front and rear. Thanks so much!

These short videos are useful just to understand how to dismantle something, personally door lock relays on rear tunnel or window replacement interest me. So go on if you can and have time.

At least 2 of those things are needed on this car. The doors locks will need to be looked at and the seal for the rear window has seen better days. Thank you for watching!

Hi Adam, I replace my instrument cluster lights watching the other video of yours, it was helpful. I was thinking of replacing the bulbs that light up these 4 switches, I believ their size are ba7s. Now came to my question, do you have any idea if I have to open up the switch for the bulb change or they are just sort of like the on the instrument cluster pull out and replace? Thank You.

Thanks Adam for these short videos. My 74 XJ6 has some wiring issues similar to this, so certainly some good points here ! Does the Series 3 cars have much the same wiring setup as the Series 2 ? I have an 84 XJ 6 that I'm working on as well.

I need to replace the tank switch on my '81 4.2, is the left metal panel on the console coming off just pulling it? Any advice? Thank you!

Nice video. This is one area where I think Jaguar could have done better at the time. If I compare the wiring harnesses in my 1965 Jag with my 1965 Mercedes the Mercedes wiring is far better quality with high quality connectors. I've put my headlights and cooling fan on relays which I hope will make a difference. The Jag wiring is better than Citroen wiring though.

Before putting in the coolant in the XJ6, have you considered Evans Waterless coolant? www.evanscoolant.com/how-it-works/ If you research this stuff, you'll find that Jay Leno uses it in all his cars and he has a lot of cars. Hope you find this useful.
