Trouba has a tendency to start taking runs at people when he thinks the Rangers are not being physical enough. His over aggressive play tends to take him out of position defensively. I think he’s still an asset for us going forward though.
The same guys that want more physicality on the team are the same people crying for Trouba to be traded THE most physical guy on the team make it make sense

Goodrow had some big goals at least during the playoffs. Scored more than Zib and Bread! Trouba is worth about half at his best. Way too many unforced giveaways.

Trouba is all Gortons fault. Terrible deal and just everything how it was handled. Trouba held them over a barrel because he traded a first and Hayes so they had to give him what he wanted
You blame the leak and the player.. if they trade him to a team not on his list he has no choice but to go and if he doesn’t report that’s a breach of contract that’s on him. Personally I would trade him to the team not on his list as far away from ny as I can just to stick it to him at this point.. he’s a pro athlete this comes with the territory and he’s not the first player that has to move his family or move away from his family for awhile.
I don’t think that locker room can trust management. I think there’s a total divide between in the players eyes. It’s us and the coaching staff versus management.😊
I’m sick of the injury excuse! If that’s what the deal was he shouldn’t have been out on the ice, ESPECIALLY considering we showed in the reg that we could win WITHOUT him in a HUGE way!! I believe it was something like 11 wins out of 13!! Obviously on or off the ice this guy is not interested in helping this team and is the LAST characteristic that defines a TRUE Captain!🖕 Just another thing/more ammo to pile on top of what makes this organization a one-Cup-in-84 yr joke.😩🤬

The whole he’s injured so it compromised his decision making I think is such a reach I think that def can happen to an extent but it would be like how fox said he was hesitant about getting beat Trouba was like flying out of position to throw a big hit that he either would miss anyway or get such a small piece it did nothing to help the play and that play in OT of game 4 was inexcusable he literally threw Lindgren under the bus left the slot wide open to finish a check on Montour on the half wall and left Reinhardt their 59 goal scorer wide open while in OT on the power play like seriously have some situational awareness and also Trouba has been bad in all 3 of the playoff runs he’s had with rangers especially as they got deeper your acting like this is an isolated incident

the issue is that trouba play has declined
We need more physicality but not at the cost of poor defensive play, taking up 8 million of our salary cap.

I feel bad for him. He's not to blame. It was Jeff Gorton that overpaid him, however, that doesn't change the fact that they have to move him.
