In Peru, slavic culture is highly appreciated, especially Polish and Russian, this music along with "Czerwone Jagody", "Lipka" and "Hej, sokoly!" are one of the best I have heard along with some from French, Germany and Austria (Zillertal) accordion, the germanic culture is also very beautiful. I will admit that I did not come across this song out of a love of Polish culture. I'm American, but when my grandma was alive, we would always have the best holiday dinners. Especially Easter and Christmas. All the best Polish food would be there. Going to Poland is on my bucket list and I want to go there some day to get in touch with my roots. After my Grandma died in 2015 and a lot of my other older aunts and uncles, holidays just don't seem to carry the Polish feeling anymore

W literackiej polszczyźnie zanikają, choć czasem pojawiają się jako odpryski młodzieżowej mody np. koledzy z pracy, świeżo po studiach, dla jaj używają takich słów jak "dziołcha", ""kaj" czy "ciepać" (pierwotnie gwara beskidzka, słowo ostało się ino na Śląsku Cieszyńskim).

I'm American, but when my grandma was alive, we would always have the best holiday dinners. Especially Easter and Christmas. All the best Polish food would be there. Going to Poland is on my bucket list and I want to go there some day to get in touch with my roots. After my Grandma died in 2015 and a lot of my other older aunts and uncles, holidays just don't seem to carry the Polish feeling anymore
Now that your grandmother is gone, it's up to you to continue Polish traditions.

Dobrze, że są napisy, bo miałbym problemy ze zrozumieniem gwary. Są tu też archaizmy, kery występują już tylko w gwarach śląskich. W literackiej polszczyźnie zanikają, choć czasem pojawiają się jako odpryski młodzieżowej mody np. koledzy z pracy, świeżo po studiach, dla jaj używają takich słów jak "dziołcha", ""kaj" czy "ciepać" (pierwotnie gwara beskidzka, słowo ostało się ino na Śląsku Cieszyńskim).
