bro 😀nice, bravo! you said for fingerpickin u would go blackwood , while play/sing you would go mahagony or spruce....i had for a while blackw and mahagony, and comepared them...i feel blackwood is totally better for sing , since mahagony push frequencies that melt with voice too...thats for me....i would like to try spruce seems funny , i have also several songs in da funko style 😀
Is the Blackwood punchy like rosewood? I have the Cort Gold 06 (spruce), want something with a different tone, but same craftsmanship. My Gold only had minor issues like the tuning machine mount screws stripped the wood and a minor scuff on the binding, otherwise it was flawless.
In my opinion is more punchy. Rosewook more sustain. High - Mid -Low... So the back Wood be high mid . Machine head you can change to better one like Gotoh
Thank you for putting these three together and testing them! I was supposed to buy a seagull s6 but the core oc mahogany caught my attention. Which one is your favorite?
@@lowkiasoon thank you for that my friend it means so much! There is no core oc series available in my city to test, only the seagull s6, entourage, and the coastline. I was curious about the specs of the cort OC. Your recommendation will make my purchase much easier!
@@frootmates420 Cort Gold Series OC is Orchestra Cutaway is full solid slightly better that Core . Core economical full solid . The wood is not premium but is ok for budget . At least now i will choose between the seagull and taylor thanks to your insight. Again thank you so much.
Have Cort earth 300vf... How does it compare? I like the Blackwood and Mahogany. Can you do a comparison between the 3 mentioned. And would this be an upgrade or side grade to the earth 300vf? Thank you
Thank you for the review. Please suggest if I should go for Cort Gold A6 or choose one from Core series ? I mostly play Fingerstyle with casual strumming and singing.
Definitely Gold series is in different category . I mean is different woods . More premium . And sound more control . I suggest if you do fingerstyle . Get the gloss finish with grand auditorium size is ok
If you want to use for last long.. This core series is kindly ‘the best’ option because its solid top, eg and nice bag... But all depend on your budget. Which country are you from? . Thanks for watching
After I check the spec the Fender is using laminated mahogany back which means Cort Core is full solid . No2 is Fender is dreadnought but Cort is grand auditorium which is good for plucking and strumming . For mellow and emotional touch , u can try the full solid black wood or Spruce top with mahogany back .. mahogany body is very much mid range .. if u like singing may not so suitable since our voice also mid range. Hope you understand.
Just for reference
Blackwood 2:52
Spruce 4:22
Mahogany 5:39
Thanks a lot

‘Difrence’ sounding. Example.seagull is dreadnoght and Core is small size .tq

How does the core oc spruce compare to the gold o6? Im still contemplating which one to get.
The gold series are using more premium wood
Plus gloss finish make the sound more control and focus
From most youtube demos I find the gold O6 sounds more responsive. Putting aside the tonewoods it sounds louder than the core series.
