My first guitar was a Cort 900 earth, parlor size. As a mandolin player it was perfect to learn on. I still love it.

Living in Western Asia for many years has shown me that Cort and Sigma are incredible, albeit almost unknown in the USA.
She can make any guitar sounds good.
Sounds like good value for the money (assuming a stock guitar is set up as well as the one they sent you to demo). I've been looking for a kickaround to take to the beach, etc. This might work.

Pretty incredible that someone who is known as a virtuosic mandolin player is as proficient and evidently at-ease with the 6-string.
Wow! I wonder how it sounds alongside my Cort Gold D6. Same all solid, only, my D6 has a torrefied solid top.

Listen to the thickness of that top end compared to a spruce top. Sierra can make anything sound good, but Cort are real good quality.

Looks a lot like my Orangewood Morgan....Indonesian made sold and set up in USA in Calif......GREAT sounding....and no breaking of the bank. Don't pay $500...the Orangewood is half that!!
I’m almost sold on one of these Corts as an upgrade from the Alvarez I have now. However, I’d _really_ like to try one out before I put down the money for it. Guitar Center sells them, but the GC store where I live doesn’t stock them. I played a less-expensive Cort model that it had on display, but everything sounds crappy there. (My Alvarez with new strings sounds better than a $3K Taylor or Gibson with old strings.) The Core series models do ound great on TH-cam, however.

Not surprising the Cort sounds better than a all hog Taylor AD27 and its about $800 less. Love your reviews Sierra!
I think that this guitar doesn't sounds so well like a Taylor, but is an excellent guitar with a better price that almost all in the market
Sierra is just so cute and talented. One of my favorite artists. She could make any instrument sound great. That package does seem like great bang for the buck though.
SIERRA, Can I send you my 1930's Oahu 55 archback jumbo or my 1931 KayKraft Style A Venetian guitar with Indian gilt overlay. The Oahu may be a little uncomfortable body-wise as it's a huge body, but it plays very comfortably like a new guitar. The Oahu is just awesome and plinky like a banjo. You will like!

I’m not fooled for a second. Firstly she’s talented. And second, she practiced constantly. And this was one of her favorites as a KID!? Man, now I’m just someone who owns a guitar. A guitar that just put itself in the case. Nice video.

I so wish bluegrass music, acoustic country music and folk music would catch on with young people. Sierra Hull and her husband are just a handful of bluegrass musicians under 40 years old doing this type of music. I wish Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood would team up with Sierra Hull and others to perform unplugged traditional music.

for that much...get a Martin or Taylor....for half that...get the EXACT same guitar (and likely made at same Indonesian plant) in the Orangewood Morgan. Love mine!!
