Tim, great video review, as always delivered in your informative style. And, as my pocketbook says, no thanks to you, I just ordered some Vanquest pouches earlier today to continue with my tactical addiction. Vanquest should make you an official ambassador for their products as you do a great job describing the nuts and bolts of each product. Thank you, Tim, and enjoy the fall weather in the New England states.
Thank you Harry, I appreciate you taking the time to watch. I too spent some money on Vanquest gear today... just can't quit the addiction. Not that I'm trying to. 🤣👍
Your closing comments… I could not agree more. I’m new to Vanquest, only just this week, and I can say I’ll likely agree 100% with you about only using Vanquest and being perfectly happy with that. You can just tell sometimes about gear. This is that. Cheers Be well, Craig
Great review man, the scenery for ur bag reviews is always good! I had the Trident 31 for a short time, but felt it was too big for an EDC bag. Stellar organization and quality though, without question. Been using the Trident 20 as my work bag for the last two years. Take it to work every day and it still looks brand new.
I bought the trident 32 gen3 in multifamily black it's a great pack for me it feels a little large only because the bottom pushes down on the back of my pants and it feels like they are going to come off while I'm walking I use the load lifters all the way but I still have this problem I'm going to look for a better belt today there is no way I'm sending this pack back it's just too awesome!
Agreed! It's definitely a keeper. I can't say I have the problem with it pushing my pants down but I've had that before with another brand so I know the frustration. You're pulling on the load lifter straps on at the top of the shoulder straps right? What about tightening the shoulder straps themselves? I usually wear my backpacks higher on my back compared to a few friends of mine. Not sure if that'll help.
Great review, yes I love the inside color, I never buy hand bags with a black liner, this orange kicks butt, I wonder if they make purses? I’ll check there sight. I have not purchased a back pack. Finally I ran into your Chanel and you have sold me on this brand, and this pack. When it’s time for me to buy I’ll come back here and follow your links. Great job , oh and I’ll sub as well!
@@GearReviewDepot Right, you're a developer building a camp. :) Thing were tough for a few months, we had to put down two of our boys over 5 months due to C, they were 10+ years old so that kinda hurt, then I was in the hospital, I had a heart ablation done so that slowed me down for a few months, My wife's boss retired so she lost her job but Im glad for that, she's 70 and I rather have her home but we know have to pay for our medical plans of $870 per month, and with her not working we lost $4k per month. so basically we are out $5k per month. O-well, we will adapt :) O, my sugar is down 95-107and my meds were lowered. Hope you guys are do well
So far I had tried everything with the straps to no avail so I had the waist belt off but I'm thinking about putting it back on I'm 5 10 in and my torso is a little short I'll figure it out I wear it to work everyday I'm in construction and we are building a huge data center for micrisoft. All dirt and hills out side this huge building well over 300 yards long. And the food truck is no longer allowed to come because of vivid 19 so I need something to carry all my food and this is perfect for that.
I wish I could hike and camp as much as you but I'm on the job 60 hrs or more per week that leaves me very little energy to do anything else btw where I live in Arizona it's mostly all desert I really would like to hike in a more forest like area.
Well... it's sort of on vacation. 🤣 I've been "testing" for review multiple packs along with 2 backpacks that just arrived for review, so it's been a while since I've used it. I'm really liking these Vanquest packs as well but the Frankenpack isn't going anywhere. I'll use it again eventually.
Good review I really like their pouches, but I will not purchase any pack that it's main compartment does not open entirely flat or is top loading. To each his/her own but I prefer panel packs. And having only one full-length side zipper is a deal breaker for me.
I hated trident, I hated it, gave my brother who is a ameteur photographer. Bag fits that purpose..I hated that stupid S like curve on the sides. Difficult to operate zippers. The bag does not have character. Is it sling or backpack? Not to good in both aspect. Trying to do both, fails miserably. Heavy, overly complex, expensive. A hate asymetric bags, which forces you to use left or right side.

Absolutely! They are as close to perfect as any pack can get. IMO of course. 😉😁
Looks like a great bag, thanks for sharing it. I'm sure you are enjoying this great weather. Be well my friend.
I’ve said it many times...nobody reviews backpacks better than you Tim! Vanquest makes an exceptional products. Thanks brother!
Thank you brother! Much appreciated. Hope all is well up north.
TheTacticalDefender Fall is here but it’s still a little too warm around 75 today and some damn bugs lol. I want it cooler so hopefully soon enough.

Orange is my favorite color, but TBH the bright grey inside the Maxpedition RiftCore is a better hi-viz color, functionally speaking.
Great vid Tim
Thank you!
I have so many of their pouches I dont have a use for all of them. Great stuff
Perfect Presentation! I also use and love this backpack!
Best regards from austria
Chris
Thank you Chris! I appreciate you taking the time to watch. 👍

Thank you for stopping by! They don't make purses but they do make a bag called the VPacker... it's perfect for a purse or man bag. 😁👍
Okay, and I see there’s a messenger bag as well. Thanks
So Tim, seeing winter is closing in and your camps are going, where are you planning on going? I would think you'd want a good cover.
Hi buzz! Not planning on going anywhere... staying put. Hope all is well my friend.

Thank you! I appreciate you taking the time to watch. 👊
Nice review.
Thank you!
Hi, I'd love to see your Vanquest pouch you use for your diabetic kit & what's inside... Thanks
Hi Wendy - th-cam.com/video/DX9sNMNOIiQ/w-d-xo.html

Damn brother that sounds like my kind of work. I miss outside hard labor... I've turned soft. 🤣

You forgot the CCW compartment
Frankenpack update?

That's understandable.

Not every pack will suit every person. Thankfully, we have lots of choices.
