I bought this pack a few months back and have used it everyday since. Price is high but the quality is worth every penny imo.
I just bought a Kelty Redwing 50 a few weeks ago and now seeing this I’m feeling a little buyers remorse. And my Maxpedition Vulture II is holding up really well as my edc/day hike bag and not ready to replace but I love this bags compartments and flexibility as well as it’s looks. And being able to ‘lock’ the zippers so easily is nice bit of security when on the motorcycle, although I’ve never had a problem with the Maxpedition or Lowepro bags on bike.

Vanquest is a solid company, bought 2 Vanquest sling bags and the quality is phenomenal. 10x better than Maxpedition with very thought-out features.

i have the trident 31 the envoy 3 and the javelin 3 love them all, I think Vanquest is the best bag company out there

It's a goruck style pack with an optional molle panel. Might make an interesting video to see how you trick it out. Just an idea 👍

The back padded is full gray? I ordered one and i see it gray , but there are sometimes that i see it gray with green ??? No appreciate in a camera... I had the trident 21 and it s different. I don´t know if it s a manufacter error.. or all backpacks have the same gray..
The people who will bitch about price will always be bitching about price. Oh well. You need to check out Hill People Gear since you’re both on Colorado and do tons of outdoor stuff. If you aren’t familiar with their brand to need to rectify that ASAP. Incredible gear. But not cheap, real gear has its investment

I do like the compartments but the cost might be a little too high for now but maybe the price will drop.
Look up, SAM SPLINT,it's a multiple use splint,light weight,and would be a good thing to take on your hikes.
Ok, you’ve been asking about knives to review a bit now through your intetwebs Associations and I’d really like to recommend Chris reeve’s knives. The insingo is amongst my favorite blade styles of all time. Take a look. Expansive? Yup. Worth it? Yup. It’s not a short term kind of review, these knives take a bit for the full prospective. Just a thought.

@Jacob Arrowood this is a lifetime bag. You buy it once and have it 10 plus years later. Ive had my maxpedition pack for 11 years and this vanquest gear is made by the same people that designed that max pack.

Good stuff. I kept going back and forth between Vanquest and Direct Action for my EDC/whatever bag. Ended up choosing the Dust pack from Direct Action.
