HI Aaron, thanks for the awesome comments on the TRIDENT-32! Really great scenic shots and excellent overview on the pack, it's the perfect combo of backpacking comfort with top-notch organization. We also loved how you integrated the STICKY Panels & STICKY Cube's with the main interior. Cheers! --Alex @ Vanquest 😎🤙
I got a Trident-21 gen 2 2 years ago, its one of the best purchases I have made. I am a mobile computer tech and I run my business out of this bag. I love the organization, I have a place to put every flash drive and screw driver. I also use it for travel, camping, hiking. I honestly need to get another one. I upgraded to the new zipper pulls, added the water bottle holder. Seriously money well spent
Great review. All I can say is ditto, ditto, ditto. I have had my Trident 32 since they came out in June and, absolutely, love it. I took it on a 2-week hiking trip. I used it on hikes in Montana, Alberta Canada near Banff and Lake Louise, and in Colorado, where I live. I say ditto to your review because I found all the points you covered here and more. I am looking forward to many, many more hikes with it. (I also bought the Trident 21, gen3 for shorter day hikes and it performs perfectly). I have the smaller pouches for my emergency kits and first aid kits. Everything fits together like a puzzle.
Well Explained. Did 22 years of Wild-land 🔥’s. This pack is Perfect for other uses. You’re not kidding of two Worlds Colliding... “ 🌎 &🔥 “. Thank you Sir.
I actually prefer the Trident 31 Gen 2 personally (I own it and use it). I mean there are some things the Gen 3 has that I like, but I like that the Gen 2 is just more rugged with full on 1000D Cordura, a larger molle hook and loop field on the back. Also the molle on the waist belt is about twice as thick on the Gen 2. I do prefer the new customizable dividers, BUT you can buy those separately. One thing that I dislike about both versions is there is only one strap holding the flap inside that divides the main pack from the water bladder area. When you get a full sized water bladder in there that is full it pushes that divider out and it's all weird and wonky and that single strap just doesn't hold the bladder in place, and so it floats back and forth. I'm trying to figure out a fix for that, and I was hoping they would address it in the Gen 3 and maybe put in a second strap or something, but they didn't. womp womp. I get that they are trying to make this line more of a hybrid, and less "tactical" looking though. Either way, they have a ton of styles and packs and like you say, their quality is top notch, so if this pack isn't it for you, they have a ton to choose from.
Great review as always. I have a Maxpedition Xantha and the main complaint and I think why it was discontinued was the lack of waist support. So I picked up a Sabra Gear waist belt and swapped it with the original. Works great and seems like it would be very similar to this pack.
My trident 32 has a number of issues over the last 2.5 years starting with a year on the upper outside edge of the right side shoulder strap and the covering for the top grab is coming a part it's so torn up lots of loose threads on several pockets and five zipper sliders have failed completely
U have alot of packs. That's awesome so I ask u cuz u wear a vanquest markhor or trident or a 5.11 or mystery ranch or kelty etc etc etc. What do u really like to use??!!! Honestly what do u love speaking truthful. U have soo many I can't imagine what u go thru to choose. I have like 20 some packs but I have mostly tactical, military and a few civilian. Give the Tea??!!
I owned gen 1 22 liter version. I am six foot tall and carryinğ it was not comfortable. It was very heavy for the size and it did not have water bottle sleeves. I regretted my purchase and gifted it to a relative who carry SLR kit always and became very happy. I did not like also that I had to use the pack in a centain way like sling pack. It was not symmetrical. I am now using much cheaper but with better designed backpack condor solveig gen 2. I really like its design but of course it build quality is not on par with vanquest.
I like the looks of this pack and the vertx gamut 2.0. Since you have experience with both, which one do you like better for edc and just an all around pack?
There are other better options on the market. Customer feedback is good and all but sometimes it isnt everything. I have the 5.11 Rush 72 it's a beast but lacks certain things this pack has. I might just get this on Gen 4 or get trident 31
Have u seen the slumberjack spoor kryptec typhoon small get home bag with a soft level 111A bullet proof backing $80 Molle great look definitely a cool get home bag definitely like it better than my 511 rush 12 which is great but won’t help u if a bullet hits u while running.
Haha not in so cal people dont freak out like that. Every other pack I see has shits tons of molly webbing and no complaints. You must live in a paranoid part of California.
I’ve been looking for the trident 31 or 32 liter bag or the IBEX 35 if u get this post I’m interested in what I would prefer I’m leaning torwards the IBEX 35 because I don’t need those orange dividers even if I can take them out let me know what u prefer between the 2 vanquest bags
I’ll trade you for an unused 511 Rush 72 desert colors absolutely never used straps still inside and a lightly used 511 rush 12 in black which sits in the back of my car for a get home bag but really never used in any other way if there’s a price difference on my end I will throw a good knife in to if your bag is worth less I don’t care just love Vanquest and a size from 32-36 liter which this fits for me.

It's been a while for a Vanquest review, Thanks Aaron always look forward to your videos. Vanquest has pockets to other dimensions
Great presentation. Youre obviously a Vanquest man
Thanks, Aaron. Still holding out (read: saving up) for one of those Markhor 45 packs, though. 😎

I have the Xantha and the trident. Both are great in my opinion.
I love my Trident 31, if it ever wears out I’ll get this one.
Pretty sure your 31 won't wear out anytime soon

All modern and almost all of my trident 32 zippers have failed in me. And to fix it. Will cost more than the bag!
Nice bag! Only problem is where I live I have to rock stuff like the Battalion or Covrt18 because MOLLE freaks people out
@ablackprep California. The wonderful state where people call a Swiss Army Knife a combat knife. At least that's what people in Folsom say
@ablackprep keep me in your prayers
Haha not in so cal people dont freak out like that. Every other pack I see has shits tons of molly webbing and no complaints. You must live in a paranoid part of California.
@@johnniewalker3134 that's because everyone in so cal is either mafia or a gangbanger
@ablackprep I like the sound of that
You should do a review on the Osprey Manta 24 !
Very Cool product Aaron
Hi. Very nice place and very good video 👍👍
Do you need a raincoat during a heavy rainfall?
Vanquest produces great products, too bad the main pocket(s) don't open all the way on both sides
I'll wait for a crate drop for my lvl 3 backpack.

For hiking, do you prefer this or the Ibex 26?
Darth Croll also the Ibex 35
like to order patch
what kind of med bag do you have
I don’t like how the do there zippers. I don’t like the s curve on the one side and no zipper on the other. I want a straight clamshell style.
Yeah, I'm on the fence about that too.
