Bit late to the party but just binging your vids, I did all my training and mod 1 and mod 2 in the pissing down rain in a nov/dec and honestly think it makes you a better rider come summer. great series so far :D
Hey buddy, congratulations on passing your MOD 1. Loving fhe channel and content. It's really helping me with my own riding by seeing your confidence. I've gone i to do my test 3 times and cancelled it due to anxiety and nerves, so it's really great to follow your journey.
Hey Dave, thanks, I'm glad you are finding my videos helpful. I'll be honest, I'm not one to get nervous or anxious but it got me on this occasion (Sleepless night etc...) I think I put too much pressure on myself to pass, as in order to re-take the mod 1 I have to take a day out of work, which sucks a sole trader as it is really tough to catch up. Aside from that I also have to find someone to pick my lad up from school in case the ferry is late or whatever which is no mean feat. That said, this all vanished when you swing a leg over as your mind is on getting the job done and nothing else. Don't forget the tester wants you to pass as much as you do. If you can get as far as getting on the bike you'll be fine as the test itself is easy enough. Book another test, I will look forward to you telling me in a few weeks that you have passed. You've got this 💪
Top job on passing the mod 1 Tommy! Well-done 👏🎉 and props to you if that was your first ride out in the rain 🌧️😮. You handled it so well and it didn't seem to phase you at all 👍.
