I went for Rajah2 as my first XL cold steel folder, i figured it looks the most "normal" and utilitarian of the bunch. I also have rajah3 and it made mi kind of dislike folders with scales locking your hand in one position. Since then i bought flatgrind spartan for my friend as a birthday gift, and handle is fine, but i still prefer rajah, feels like a small foldable hatchet.
I wish the Rajah 2 would come with a serrated blade. If i could only have one of them, it would be the Rajah. I also wish Cold Steel would stop painting its pocket clips.
I love both and I enjoy owning them, even though currently I don't EDC either one. I even bought the Lynn Thompson signature Spartan. It's the only signature series knife I own (so far lol).
Why would not a "Spartan" not have a name befitting it's origin? Namely a Kopis blade and not a Kukri. Yes I know Cold Steel uses Kukri incorrectly in the knife description. Spartans carried Kopis blades.
GREAT KNIVES BOTH! A must have in my book. Great video too!!!

I have 2 spartan left and right carry and a Rajah 2 and love both styles.
The latest version of the Spartan is a full flat grind like the Rajah.
