Cutting slits in the battons and PIR boards to make them flex was a great idea! We wound up chopping ours into sections to match curves, it was a real faff.

What are you guys planning to do with your windows? Great work on the insulation but you will lose shed loads of heat through that single glazed glass. Im hoping your sills are not as rotten as mine for the welder now its got all the insulation in.
Hi Tam:) we’re covering the window behind our heads on the back right panel, mainly because it was smashed but will also have the added bonus of warmth. But we want to keep all of the windows for natural light, we’ll have thermal blinds and a log burner too so we don’t think we’ll ever struggle with being cold. We luckily only had one sill that was slightly damp/rotten so we’ve made sure to re-seal that window really well x Hope your own build is going well:) A
Tam's on the money. Blinds or not those windows are going to bleed heat away - and bleed it extremely fast. I anticipate that if youve got plans for alpine conditions that by 4am your going to wishing that you insulated them as well. Yes, windows are great but they dont give privacy or security. Good luck
Hey! We just got the same issue with our window.. it’s full of grinding marks after we took down a piece from the roof. Did it work good to fix by yourself?
Hi ray, sorry no we don't-it was planned by the fabricator who did it. They managed to sink where the original passenger seat was into the floor which enabled us to get a new rails into the floor level. Happy to send more pics if you popped us a message on Instagram :) hope that helps :)
Why is it that girls don’t like being called she ? Like you have to say their name. I really don’t get it , my Mrs does it - “she?” Like iv done something rude for not saying her name 😂 never understood it as it isn’t rude at all
