Welcome to our FIRST ever video! Join us as we convert our Mercedes Vario 614d into a tiny home on wheels.
With our Australian year abroad being cut short in 2020 due to you know what we decided we would fill out long term dream to convert a bus to live and travel in.

Too late now but you should cover glass from grinder sparks. Check out your windows. Looking forward to the build.

Hi guys just subscribed and noticed the unistrut that you can keep for roof for a rack system and back ladder system ! Woopee what a saving
Hi Clive! first of all-thanks so much for subscribing and thanks for the comment :) i just had to google a unistrut system aha and i think we've taken it out but in terms of saving i'm not sure we will-we're getting a custom roof rack made but still good to know so thanks for pointing it out :) A

Hi there-to you and the Netherlands!
It will continue following the journey of our van build-so next will be rust busting, then installing the gas and water tanks, and then floor and building up from there.
And in the end us on our travels in the bus! We hope you enjoy watching :) all the best, A :)

Did that bus come from worcesterhire county council? because we got rid of a few of them a couple of years ago and this one has the exact same colours and markings as the one we still have left

Hi , I'm looking for a suitable vehicle for a conversion but concerned about having enough height, what's the internal height of this van after you stripped the floor? Or once the new floor and ceiling are in?

Great bus. Do you need your C1 licence to drive it though?
Hi Ross, thank you! Yes you do need a C1 license because it weighs over 3.5 tons, Tobys looking into getting one asap :)
At what point did you realise your Van would be 4inches higher once the floor was out?
i"m not sure what you mean, but we definitely got closer to the top of the barn once the floor/weight was out! And once our new floor is in, we'll have gained 7-8cm in standing height :)
