We're back with episode 6 of our Mercedes Vario van build. This weeks video you'll follow us on a week without the bus. From searching for the perfect passenger seat, picking a mattress and saying goodbye to the bus.

Looking great guys and well done on all that you have done so far, seem to know what you are doing anyway. Best van build I have seen, and I've watched lots was a fella Thomas Heaton who happened to convert an old Toyota to use on location while out doing landscape photography which is what his TH-cam channel is on. He used a all metal frame which he order cut online and build all the cupboards from it, he also ordered all his doors pre-cut from the size he needed and used the best hinges and locks I've ever seen. Check out his build, whole build was over three videos as he just recorded it due locklock down and not out photographing. Keep them coming guys.

Tremendous progress both. I’m so pleased the water tank cleared - phew. Those cabinets are looking brilliant. Very swish. Oh and you didn’t ask but I liked the middle shade of white best :-). 50 shades of white.
Thanks so much Rich:) ahha yes it cleared JUST-the clip that didn’t make it was of us swearing and shouting at him to stop, and him putting wooden planks underneath to raise it enough to clear it at a more comfortable height. Ooo fabb news because that’s the colour we went for 😊

Ahah yes Barry, you’d be right!! It was so cold my feet went numb, it was another level of cold that it was actually painful aha x we’re not quite ready for the UK sea- I bet the Australian waters are tropical compared to here ☀️

Id be a bit worried about the tank clearance guys ...you might have problems with ferries , off grid parking etc

Yes it’s happened a few too many times 🙃

Hi, thank you for the really useful information. I am planning on doing the same thing myself with an identical vehicle. Would it be possible for you to send me the internal dimensions..length,width and height,this would give me a head start on my preparations. Thank you..
