I think for added effect, adding some water with some ink in it to darken it and adding a cork that sits below the lip of the bottle could create some cool motion in the bottle.
You could put an inner layer vessel in the center and have the fluid in between the two layers. Like one of those double walled cups that have glitter in them.
You guys never fail to amaze!! The dancing skeleton popped up 4 times (including the end, 3 if you don’t). I would call the Pirate “Captain Jack Marrow”.
I've been making Halloween props probably about 10 years and I love the skeleton. The detail and everything is awesome. Thank you for letting me a chance to watch the build. Hugs.
I love that you guys have transitioned to making your own animatronics! I think it would be cool if you guys did a beginner's guide to movement (what motors to use, joints, etc.). I'd absolutely be down for that!
Yes, please! I’ve built some really cool static props, but I’m overwhelmed with anything electronic. I would love a beginner’s guide with animatronic props.

This is AMAZING!!! We do a pirates of the Caribbean theme yard haunt every year and add more and more. We did the pirate fountain diy from yall last year cant wait to add this guy this year! Thank you for being awesome and showing us common folk how to make amazing props!
I love how you show the original plan and how you adapt it as the project progresses. The hair, wobbly arm, and medallion all work to give the figure extra motion. Fantastic. I think the only thing I would change would be to cut the screw threads off the fake bottle.
Guys- you have once again created a masterpiece! It blows me away how you can take these simple props and parts and transform them into something stellar, something far beyond Halloween store quality. At the risk of sounding like a broken record, your attention to detail is amazing. The flesh bits were especially clever and turned out super cool! I believe I saw the dancing cartoon skeleton pop up a total of four times! I think the goblin animatronic is really cool functionality-wise, but I'm not sure a goblin would fit my haunt theme... if I won, I would probably try my hand at my own Wicked Makers-inspired makeover and transform Mr. Goblin there into something especially spooky >:) As for the skeleton's name? I feel like you can't go wrong with Davy Bones 👍 but if I had to create something purely original, what about... Pirate Lackey Tarsals? Because, you know, a pirate crew always has pirate lackeys, but he's also LITERALLY lacking a leg, so he's lacking tarsal bones... too complicated? If a name needs too much explaining, it probably isn't a good name... 😅 Happy Haunting, guys! Great job, again!
This came out amazing! It’s really neat to see your progress through each animatronic build. I am so impressed with what you guys have learned and in turn taught!
Thanks for the shout out to Demonground! I'm glad you liked the design, and love what you did with it. Our final prop has a lot in common with yours. :)
I’d love to see you guys give Spirit’s Strawman a total badass makeover. He’s really cool as is but when I saw him this past weekend I thought, I’d love to see the Wicked Makers make him creepier!
The Raving Skeleton GIF showed up a total of 4 times. 3 times on the left, 1 on the right, and showed up 3 times before y'all announced it was the thing we needed to watch for making that the 4th time it appeared. Great video, love the end result, always a treat and good inspiration for our own crafts!
Your kid is adorable! This was an awesome build. I'm glad, and thankful you guys keep in your mistakes and the recovery. It's so much better and more encouraging for us.
This looks great! I'm making my first animatronic this year too! A mermaid with a swishing tail to go with my haunted shipwreck haunt (complete with drinking skeleton ;) )
I’m pretty sure he popped up 4 times? That’s if you count the one at the end- seeing as how his teeth are all painted gold, I suggest the name: “Captain Harry.” Just like the gold toothed robber from home alone! Harry!
