Went to local big box mattress store. Tried Casper, Purple, Simba , Hush, Turf & Needle. Replacing older Kingsdown Queen mattress. When testing each mattress in store, came to conclusion we preferred the feel of medium firmness. Despite not being able to try the Logan and Cove in store, decided to purchase the Frontier online. Never owned a Hybrid mattress before, and feels similar to the medium firms tried in store. Non of the bed in box mattress we tried in store had the plushness top that the Logan And Cove Frontier has. Hesitant on ordering a mattress you can’t try in store. Very happy with Logan and Cove Frontier. IMO it was the best feeling of what we tried in store. I’m confident we won’t be sending the mattress back, even with the 365 sleep guarantee.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Glad to hear L&C is working out so well. Hopefully it's a perfect fit long term as well.

Honestly, since it has a 365day return policy I felt safe ordering it. I also think that whenever I have tried mattresses in stores, when I bought the mattress it was nothing like the bed I tested in the store so I don't even know if it matters in the end if you have a year to assess if you like it.

Hello! Firstly, thanks for your amazing reviews. This has really helped my process.
I did your quiz and the Novosbed soft was the recommendation. However, I'm very reluctant due to a handful of bad reviews and am a bit burnt as I just returned my standard Endy - it was way too hard for this side sleeper. So, I'm considering Logan & Cove. Noticed the plush model they once had seems to have been sunsetted. Am I right that this is its replacement?
    Relevant info:
    - Budget ideally under $1500 CAD.
    - Age 50, occasional hot flashes and hot bedroom so breathability would be nice.
    - Predominantly side sleeper with occasional back sleeper.
    - Snorer and grinder so have neck pain.
    - Some hip pain that wasn't resolved with the Endy.
    - Light sleeper but mostly sleep alone. The pets drop in but some movement isn't a deal breaker at all.
Is the Frontier the hug and support that I need? 😴
Sending you big gratitude in advance! Nap Lab = Nap King!

Thank you for your kind words! So glad to hear NapLab has been helpful. ☺
As far as the Logan & Cove goes - the new Frontier isn't really a one to one replacement of the old plush model. The plush model was notably softer, where as the Frontier has a pretty typical medium feel.
The Frontier is definitely softer than the Endy. But if you think you want something that would described as "soft" I do fear that it probably isn't soft enough for you.
To that end, I would still lean more towards Novosbed soft, as it is notably softer than Frontier.
Another option to consider would be the Brooklyn Bedding Signature Hybrid (soft version) - naplab.com/go/brooklyn-bedding-signature-hybrid-mattress - It's a US mattress, so there are currency conversion and shipping fees, but I think it should still be pretty close to your budget.
Unfortunately, finding a soft / plush mattress in Canada that's high quality and $1.5K CAD is a really tall order. There just really aren't that many. Novosbed and BB are the only two I've tested that hit your requirements.

@@NapLabReviews FYI - just went to buy the Novosbed soft king but there aren't any more in stock. As they're doing the switch to Octave, they won't produce any more. They said Novosbed is to be discontinued by Sep. 13th.
Checked out the other. With the exchange and shipping, it may be too high. If you happen to have another suggestion, I'd be so appreciative. Merci!!!

@@PamelaGordon1 Oh that's a bummer. Octave is one I am planning to test in the near future. Just waiting for one to get delivered.
I just looked through the rest of my mattress database and I don't see any other mattress available in Canada that's soft and less than $1K USD. Unfortunately, it's really hard to make a high quality, supportive mattress that's also soft and inexpensive. As there are simply more materials required to create the required level of softness and support.

@@NapLabReviews It looks like I can still buy the Novosbed soft king through Goodmorning's website rather than going through Novosbed's site. 😁
Goodmorning's site seems to have the Logan & Cove medium-soft, too. There's hope.
If you have an affiliate link for Goodmorning, I'll be happy to use it. Mant thanks for your time and responsiveness.

For someone who values side sleeping comfort and back support as well as cooling and doesn’t want the mattress to make large divets after a year or so would you recommend the Logan and Cove Frontier or the Choice?

Hey bro, great review. You offer a lot of great insight. Im just wondering how you feel it will hold up over time. I am on the fence about buying a new mattress and im leaning towards this one. My current one is less then 3 years old, Its sunken in and hurts my back. i need pressure relief! And as a new father i cant be spending 1500$ on a new mattress every few years. A recommendation would be great.

Based on our tests, the material quality, and my experience with L&C over the years, I have a high degree of confidence when it comes to longevity / durability.
L&C includes a 15 year warranty and the warranty covers any body impression of 2.0" or more.
The biggest durability issue is sagging. As mattresses begin to sag they can feel unsupportive and uncomfortable. L&C cover body impressions of 2.0" or more for 15 years is pretty solid.
That said, some backs and bodies are more sensitive to body impressions...in which case, sometimes just 1.0" or 1.5" of impressions is enough to make it feel bad, in which case, it could leave you feeling stuck or wanting to replace it early.
If that feels like you then you might consider Ghostbed Flex - naplab.com/go/ghostbed-flex-mattress-canada
      Or Ghostbed Luxe - naplab.com/go/ghostbed-luxe-mattress-canada
Ghostbed's warranty covers any body impression of 1.0" or less. So you pay a little more for Ghostbed, but you have a much lower bar to clear as far as sag / body impressions in order to get a replacement.

Great reviews, thank you. I am in Canada, replacing a traditional sears o pedic mattress & box spring. Considering either the L & C Frontier or the Silk and Snow Organic. These seem to be two of the better mattresses available here. Any recommendation on one of these (or other better) appreciated.

Thanks for considering the L&C Frontier! While we can't speak for others, the Frontier uses a combination of micro coils and pocketed coils to provide pressure-point relief while ensuring your body is well-supported across the mattress. It also features cooling nanofibres and gel foam so you don't have to worry about waking up hot.

How does this mattress compare to the Logan and Cove Luxury Firm mattress? Ive been thinking about getting a new mattress and ive been wondering if this mattress is softer than the old Luxury Firm

    • @loganandcove

Hello! Thank you for considering Logan & Cove for your next mattress. The Frontier is medium-firm, whereas the previous Luxury Firm had a firm feel. Do you have any other questions?

    • @NapLabReviews
      @NapLabReviews  ปีที่แล้ว

In terms of firmness, I found both the original Logan & Cove and the Frontier to be about the same firmness (5.5 out of 10, where 10 is the most firm).
In terms of overall performance, I found the new Frontier to be significantly better than the original L&C. Cooling, edge support, sex, and build quality were all notably improved.

I have both, and owned the older luxury firm for over 3 years now. I can confirm that the new Frontier feels a bit more soft and "bouncy", however, the motion transfer feels less prominent in my experience, not sure if its because it is a newer mattress compare to my older one.

Hi, I bought the old Logan And Cove (Medium Plush) I weight 160 LBS and I sleep on the side 3/4 of the time and the rest of the time on the back
But recently I started to have back and side pain, I think the mattress is too plushy, (At the start the mattress was just perfect, it was an exceptional feel honeslty haha) do you think the Frontier would be better for me?
Also what is better for side Sleeper a pillow top or an Euro top?
I Feel pretty sad to possibly switch from pillow to euro honestly, its pretty rare to find Pillow top in box here (Canada)
    Thank you!

The Frontier is slightly softer than the original L&C, so I would not recommend that for you if you're finding your current L&C to be too soft.
Something like the slightly firm Emma Hybrid Comfort is a better option for you. See here - naplab.com/go/emma-hybrid-comfort-mattress

@@TheLoneWolfQC Oops...you are correct, my apologies.
Unfortunately, I only tested the Luxury Firm version, which is a 6 out of 10 firmness. I would estimate the Medium Plush is between a 4-5 out of 10 firmness on my scale.
And the Logan and Cove Frontier was a 5.5 out of 10 firmness.

How do you score it based on sex?

    • @NapLabReviews
      @NapLabReviews  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

Our sex score is a simple equation where we look at 5 different factors. Each factor is given a different weight based on how important we think that factor is for most people.
Our equation inputs for edge support, pressure relief, and cooling are derived from those respective category scores.
As our sex score is based on an equation we have no need for a standardized scale. However, you can still understand the final score in the same ways.
      10 - Exceptional sex performance
      9.5 - Excellent sex performance
9.0 - Very good sex performance
      8.5 - Good sex performance
      8.0 - Fair sex performance
      7.5 - Poor sex performance
7.0 - Very poor sex performance
