Greetings Chris. Thank you for this review of the Moment Rugged Sling bag. I do have inquiries about it though: *Have you tried lugging the Moment Sling for extended durations, say 30 minutes to hours (2-4 hours) at a time? If so, how does it feel on your shoulders? More comfortable compared to say Peak Design's Sling 10L V2? *How do the magnets hold up as well? Does it function the way it intends to? *Common complaint of the bag is that when filled to the brim and worn as a sling, even with the stability strap intact, its bottom corner tend to poke on your lower back. Have you felt it? And is it annoying or uncomfortable? *Overall which would you pick? The Peak Design Everyday Sling 10L V2 or this Moment Rugged Sling in terms of functionality, durability and comfort (to the shoulder)? [I actually bought the PD already but I'm thinking if I'll be buying the Moment (Last day of sale today and then assess then whichever bag I deem better, I'll just sell the other one)] Thank you so much!
Hey! I never ended up buying the peak because it could barely fit an iPad Pro 11 - and after I squished it in, it couldn’t fit my camera... haha. I find the moment bag is a little bit wider and better looking :) I might compare them in a future video!
@@chrismeetschris Thanks Chris! Yeah that would be awesome, I think people will watch that, since Peak is probably Moment bag's main competitor and probably somewhat of a design inspiration.
@@brodobroggins I had both and ended returning the moment bag. The only reason was that when you put your camera in the bag the bottom corner would dig into my lower back. I tried adjusting it but it didn't work. It didn't hurt, just enough to notice it there. I think if you had a sweatshirt or a coat on it wouldn't be a big deal. It was disappointing since I liked the bag better than the PD. I now use the PD since it's much more comfortable and you can use the pd capture clip. However with the PD you do lose space. Hopefully they will have a version 2 out soon that addresses the back poke and a dedicated spot for a pd capture clip.
@@digitalvizun5678 just attach the clip to the strap…like a normal backpack. why does the bag need a built in tab that’s from their main competitor? lol
Hi Doppio. It could fit two cam bodies but they have to be at least two mirrorless cams like one XT3 with a, say, a 16/1.4 and the other one would be an X100v or maybe an XPro3 with one short lense for the 10L.
@@chrismeetschris after using for a few months, the Instinct Pro Camera Sling keeps up really well. The construction is strong, but very very lightweight. Really love the detailed organisations of the little pockets for my filters, SD cards, batteries. I am using it as my one camera bag with all the accessories inside. Given the strap can be removed, I am also able to carry it as a camera insert.
wow! the absolutely excellent content from the homslice Chris just keeps on coming!
aidan barbar haha thanks Bro!
this is the first review i have seen this after the release. Looks great!
Team early! Haha. Thanks for watching!
Fan of the bag also! Found your review after purchasing.
Also, I dig your video editing
Hi Emily, thanks for the comment! I think you’re going to love it (if you haven’t already got it already) - did you go 6l or 10l ?
Love everything thay moment makes! The build quality is top notch
Same, they’re the ideal company everyone in 2020 should strive to be
Thanks for posting! I am glad to see a X-H1 fit well inside the 6L which I just ordered with your affiliate link ;)
Cheers man! Much appreciated 🙌 enjoy the bag!
Adding this to cart for my new Fuji X-T3. Awesome review Chris!
I’ll be using this as a camera cube I can carry too
false alarm I ordered the Wandrd camera cube from Moment instead!
This is the perfect bag. Such a good review
Can easily fit 8 weasels

Thank you so much!
I dig it. I am trying to find the right bag for what I need. Normal sessions are just my EOSR, 35 1.4, 85 1.4 and a flash.
Dude I think you could probably fit that kit into the 6l. Especially if you don’t have an iPad in there...
Nice video. I still love my Instinct pro camera sling, it’s more sleek.
Great review! Is it waterproof?
Water resistant :)
Awesome review man. How tall are you?
5’8” at best lol
wow yeah I want this. now. great vid.
Al do it. It’s lit.
what was the model of the little phone holder you showed? thanks!
hey Lil, it’s a phone clip by “Joby”
Dope man, slings are the perfect bags for EDC.
Thanks dude. I always have mixed feelings on slings, but I think it comes down to realizing there is no perfect 1 bag for everything haha.
Can the hold the 12.9" iPad in the tablet section?
Hi Charlie! The 11 just BARELY FITS in the 6lt, I would recommend the 10lt - but I doubt it will fit the iPad 12.9.. hope that helps!
How is this compared to Peak Design? I own Peak.

You sold me!
And I’m interested in the 10L, does anyone know it it would 2 cameras nicely?

I would prefer the Instinct Pro Camera Sling. Just look so much better.
I just checked that out, looks interesting for sure. Thanks for watching!

Weird, kinda look like the inside and outside of a PD Sling.
