I have the 10L , All day hikes , biking, this bag stays where it suposed to be,. Light ,really well built you almost forget it.Not as ''fashion '' as my PD ....my PD is now collecting dust.
The Peak Design Everyday Sling 6L is $99.95 (May 2021), the Moment Rugged Sling 6L is $99.99 and the Instinct Pro Camera Sling (7 litres) $138.16 plus shipping and taxes. They share many features in common but the dimensions and shape differ and affects what can be packed.
given up on moment when their delivery came in late by half a year... when the phone lens arrived, iPhone already has a wide lens in their phones. And, no apologies made.
Copying the materials from Instinct Pro Camera Sling Bag to claim as the first bag to use sailcloth on a camera bag..... I will definitely pick the X-Pac fabric from Instinct instead of this unknown sailcloth brand...
Greetings! Great review! May I ask for your opinion as to which is a better investment overall in terms of functionality and durability--Peak Design's Everyday Sling or Moment's Rugged Sling?
Good question - at the end of the video I do make a comparison between the two. Both of them are well made and use durable materials so they're on a fairly level playing field. However the Moment Sling is much cheaper than the PD Sling. Hope that helps a bit - Ed
The photo/video communities are very disappointed by Moment actually. Their brand approach became “researching what sells well and taking some ideas from some brands then sell them to profit”. 🙈 things and brand philosophy changed so quickly
I think you are looking at it from the wrong perspective, they are making filmmaking and photography equipment more accessible and inexpensive. Also didn't know that you spoke for the entire photo/video community.
*This bag can fit 12 cans of beer*
Well I'm convinced
Moment has been studying peak designs playbook.... I’m going peak design 10 liter all day over this
Great presentation as always!
Thanks Sheila! :)

any chance you make a nomatic bag review?
Potentially! We haven't gotten our hands on anything from Nomatic, but there's definitely interest there.
Stay tuned - Ed
