My youngest son has that exact same green boat, lol.Very handy for pond jumpin. He tends to leave it at his uncles lake so all u have to do is grab a battery an the trolling motor to do a lil fishin,or frog catching. We never went this year, but last season we caught some nice frogs. And i cant beleive you have not bought yourself a boat, wont be to long before you could take the whole fam out so get one big enough so u wont need to upgrade right away.Something likeca 16 or 17 foot aluminum bass or deep vee with a 40 or 50 is a nice size to start with, and i would go with a tiller instead of steering wheel cause i think it would work good for all the diff types of fishing u guys do.
RE: A boat -- I could definitely see you in like a Tiny Boat Nation style jon boat to bass boat conversion. Right price range, manageable size, could handle you and a buddy (or a Boo).
The old Crawdad boats were rated for 10 hp & the old 2 stroke motors made them fast. They were overloaded with one person, outboard, fuel tank, trolling motor + battery. Newer ones were rated for 5 or 6 hp. Usually we were floating and catfishing a small river with canoe paddles. Some old lawnchairs would fit but that was a bad idea but a good way to get wet & cool in the summer afternoon sun.
Fun to watch! Also, you can cut 2 slits in your bucket lid about 3-4 inches apart from the middle to 1 edge. That way you can just lift the little flap up instead of the whole lid.
When I was a kid an old timer taught my cousin and I to use just a little piece of red cloth on your hook to catch frogs. I was shocked on how well it worked all you have to do is dangle it in front of their face.
I am from the most southern part of Ohio ( Chesapeake) and I have never heard of anyone using a rod and reel we always giged that was great thumbs up to Jordan for putting up with u lmao
Ain't nuthin like catching frogs on a pole tossin a soft top water rat, frog, or some top water bait, me and a buddy of mine used to take his little two man boat and hit a few different farm ponds and catch the fire out of frogs and some big ones too.
As a kid in the 1960s at our local buffet restaurant on Fri. served frogsleggs all you could eat. I remember seeing piles of leg bones when we'd leave. Never had'em since. Been missing out.
Awesome video ! Was hoping to see you harvesting frogs this year . Personally a few frog vids would be fine with a different recipe as well . Crawdads would be nice . BUST OUT ANOTHER THOUSAND … BOAT
Had an Uncle that lived in Bakersfield CA. We would gig from sun down tell about mide night. We would fill a big gunny sack . And the were 12 inches and longer. Those were the days.
@@PigPatrolTV both and the fact you can actually catch frogs like you'd fishing. In Colorado there isn't a limit on frogs and they can be taken year round. I rarely see them tho
Edit... its a ramble, not tryna tell you how to do your job, just thought might make it easier? And thankyou for the entertainment! Hey stache dude, don't know if it would be your thing, but check out carp fishing rod rests? Basically it's a metal frame, which can hold upto 4 rods, there's different types, it's self supporting, so you can set it on solid rock. If you want to get realy fancy, could try bite alarms, they work on the principle of the line goes over a wheel, there's a light sensor inside so when a fish takes line, it moves the wheel, and sets off an alarm. Might be fun seeing you try to figure them out? So, reason I am bringing this up is, you could go fishing to make a video, have all your rods secure in 1 spot, the noise would alert you to a bite, so you wouldn't have to watch the rods, so could do video editing whilst fishing. If the rods are in the same spot, you could have the big camera set up to cover all of them and you in a position which your happy with to add footage of you setting the hooks and landing the fish, and show it to camera With this set up (you would have to practice in the garden to work out best position to keep you in frame) but theoretically it would the same position every time you used the set up Wouldn't have to keep the big camera on all the time, you hear the alarm beep, then you would turn it on I know it's long (giggity) theoretically, if you practiced in the garden, if your fishing a static spot , you could fish and edit, saving you time, and you could have extra footage of you. Hope that makes sense?
Interesting way to catch frogs I've caught a few with a rod and lure but never thought of it when going after a mess we gig or shoot em with airguns and.22 that is pretty cool taught a old fart something
No please don’t get a boat!!! It makes your content so much better from my perspective cause I do a lot of fishing the way you do, but if you do guess it’s too for me to start saving 😂😂❤️
If you’re able to, please consider a trip to the “fish ladder” in Grand Rapids, Michigan, for the fall salmon run and see if you can do better than Mr Kleeb did.
crazy cool. What species of frog are they. Looks like a bunch of fun. I know they are delicious. Eaten them a few times in restaurants over the years while travelling. Never had a catch to catch my own.
Cheap 20foot crappie rod Walmart special with your floating jig or treble hook with sponge for catfish bait works great!
Bro, that thumbnail had me thinking Mr. Beast uploaded a fishing video😂😂 cheers man! Sure it'll be a good vid!
Same lol I was getting ready to drop my usual comment abt Jimbos recent bs he’s avoiding/censoring enmasse
No censorship, scandals, or employee abuse here 😂
Came here for this comment 🤣
Only thing Mr beast is uploading lately is lawsuits
Keep on frogging in the free world.
Try using a cane pole or one of your long poles with a 7-8-foot line and a fly.

Lmao my dad has a Coleman crawdad. It’s has a hole we can’t keep patched. But that thing fucks.
When in doubt ask Jordan

Get you a crawdad trap and catch some crawdads and cook them, purty damn tasty too!
You one of the old wire fish baskets with the sprung lids for your frogs.
😂 you are too funny 👍❤️🇺🇸
Frank’s red hot powder with panko plain and butter mix to your preference.
Love frogging videos
Yes Josh you deserve a boat. It's fun.

That does sound like it'd be pretty effective!
@@PigPatrolTV It works!
You should make some the waterboy froglegs cornbread and get people's reactions that have never had froglegs
Use half water half ice in your bucket and they cool down way quicker and loose their jumpiness! Ice water bath slows them way down.
When I was a kid an old timer taught my cousin and I to use just a little piece of red cloth on your hook to catch frogs. I was shocked on how well it worked all you have to do is dangle it in front of their face.
We would use a little red yarn 🧶 to get them. Surprised how it works. But it sure beats gigging at night
Great froggen video! Lets go wiper fishing sometime, have the boat, have the place!
Thanks for the video, Josh! Seem like a good solution to making content when Fishing was slow. Maybe it’s time to go after crawfish?
Love the cooking videos. I've been wanting to keep a carp or buffalo just to try it. Plus I cannot catch anything else worth keeping lately.

Love the change of pace
Hey waitress "do you have frog legs? Yes. "Then hop to the bar and get me a beer, please thank you! Thanks for taking me froggin!
Great video! We love Nebraska frog legs and cook em up the same way you do with the shore lunch or the Andy’s Red.
Now this is a hell of a video!

The set and pair had Mr going good thank for that and the video frog leg are more delicious than people know
Heck yeah brother love the hat if you ever come down to Texas/Oklahoma/Arkansas/Louisiana area I'll show you where to catch a dinosaur
For the frogorthyms 🐸
I use to use orange yarn with no hooks to jig, but this method seems more efficient. 👀
What a hoot!
GPas rig is sick 🔥
@@PigPatrolTV grandpa would be proud
Awesome video and you should get a boat. You are the best bank fisherman I have seen but you are young and healthy so get a small boat.
Love the crawdad! Just imagine how many Hamm’s and PallMall’s got smashed in that thing over the years! 🤣
A coleman crawdad? Wow. Haven't seen one of those since everybody's dad chain smoked .
Everybody's dad doesn't still chain smoke?
Heck yeah bro-stachmas!!
Jigg'n over Gigg'n! 🤙
CAJUN FROG LEGS!!! Now I need to go make some!
They were GOOD
Love frog legs ! Better than fried chikin!! That looked fun, we always hand caught them at night or gigged them.
Frog legs are 🔥
Stache ramming speed , full frogger ahead !
You betcha
Keep up the great videos. Grew up doing this 50 years ago in Pa.
Makes my heart happy as a MI boy that youve fully embraced the 'eh' 100% Murda
@@scottdavis700 I wanna be just like him when I grow down.
Oh my gosh that was hilarious Especially the ending
One of the funnier videos I've made IMO

Def need a boat!!
Awesome video man 🔥🔥🔥🎣🎣🎣

Weird catch and cook sounds awsome
Dang chicken looked like a T-REX🦖🦖
Lol Ash snuck into the vlog
Catch and cook yes!!!
This is going to be a good video can’t wait to see how the frogs turn out
They were crispy, spicy, and farting.. 😂
14’ Jon boat would be awesome sauce
“I know what 3 inches looks like” got me🤣🤣
That had me rolling 😂😂😂
Miss Boobles checking if the camera is on, cause hubby has a tendency to talk to himself thinking he’s recording it…! Hey Miss Boobles! 😜
Great video!
Josh, make some turtle soup.
isnt gigging done with a gig ? ive used gigs before but mainly a fishing pole like your doing and its a blast!! love the video !
Shoot, maybe? I just thought the word sounded fun.
Nice video Josh!! I love frog legs their so dam good!! Hope to see you and Clint this fall walleye huntin!
I dare you to do a SHAD catch and cook! Maybe throw in some minnows while you're at it. I think that'll bring in some views haha.
Dude that's awesome! I have a Crawdad too! 😂
Do you actually? 😂
Can't go wrong with an ole John Boat. 👍
We used to get 'em at night with pellet guns. Good stuff man!
Boo photobombing in the back 😂
Creep in' 😂
That is a first for me, seeing a frog caught with a rod and reel. Didn't know that was possible. 😮
I call frogging good dinner
It was pretty tasty 🐸
If your lid fits good, in between frogs you can turn the bucket upside down to put the real chill on em.
Y’all frog calls sound like a wounded calf😂😂😂😂 meanwhile in central Oklahoma we used to have nice bullfrog but no more
Get ya a Tracker deep v aluminum 16 to 18 foot. You won’t regret it. In my opinion the perfect fishing boat for almost any kind of species.
Here there are no limits.
I agree with @TheTzmnian. Kinda looks like Mr beast started another side channel haha. At least you now know what to dress up as for Halloween 😂
I won't even have to dress up.
@@PigPatrolTV I was expecting to win a tesla half way through the video 😂
Frogs yeah
I HAVE NOT tried 🐸🦵🏻s. Snapping Turtle is good. Me and my dad trapped a bunch from the two lakes outside of town when I was a youngster.
Yes I like em alot. Try the Franks Xtra hot. And best recipes is fried rice.
Down yonder in northeastern ashtabula County ohio we have gigantic american bullyfrogs , those are small ones
Here in Oklahoma we catch monster bullfrogs, the way we catch them is with a headlamp and a net on a long pole (about 10 ft) the limit is 15 here
Hell ya content has been straight 🔥🔥
Im the same way Brother. I love frog legs, but i dont have the heart to even gig um. Im even having a hard time watching the video. Lol
