      Thanks for the nice comment. Check out the other video with the black vivaro as there is a different placement of the connection and wiring loom underneath. Also another cheaper link

      @freedom projects
      Thanks for the info .... so the connector needs to be on return fuel pipe? Doesn't seem to be anything on the market for a mk7 transit 🤔
      Definitely makes the whole process easier than dropping the tank so we'll done 👏

    Hi can you have the heater running with the engine connected to the furl line like you have.. im looking to do the same on my van this weekend and im dreading it although your video makes it look easy. Hopefully i have similar success 😆

    • @Freedom-projects
      @Freedom-projects  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi there. Yes it works with or without the engine running as long as you have around a quarter tank of fuel. It does take a while to pump through for the first start up though.
      Good luck!

      Great install. I'd upgrade the green fuel line as soon as you can though as it is weak and known to balloon and perish. Last thing you need is fuel spraying all over a hot engine. There is a white nylon fuel hose available on ebay that everyone uses that's good stuff 👍

    Really clean way of connecting to the fuel line - is this the main fuel line or the fuel return? The eBay listing for the part has been removed, btw - any suggestions for how you found it? Looking for similar for a Renault Master

    Hi. Great video
    Do you know if you could fit to same fuel line on a MK7 Transit? Im literally about to pay a mechanic to drop my tank in a week or two but i could do it like you have myself

    • @Freedom-projects
      @Freedom-projects  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I’m sorry I don’t know re a transit, you could follow the fuel lines and see if it has that connector but the return pipe may not be as long in the tank

    From where is diesel coming from rerun pipe from diesel tank or from main diesel line through the filter and tank pump. If you getting diesel from return pipe you have to keep fuel 1/3 of tank is it?

    • @Freedom-projects
      @Freedom-projects  ปีที่แล้ว

      It’s the return pipe (thinner of the two) and it worked at least until the red portion on the 2 I’ve done.

      Does it do it all the time or low fuel tank?
      On my traffic there’s a hand pump, try giving it a few squeezes see if it makes a difference. If you can’t find it let me know il do a little video and send a link

      Hi there. If it’s on a vivaro/ traffic it’s the thinner one, they tend to be next to each other most of the time so it’s easy to spot. Not 100% sure on other vehicles

  • @DNBaccount

    Nice build! Normally you get some extra black tubing that you use on the metal parts and then squueze the fuel line in. The clips will then secure it all together.

    • @Freedom-projects
      @Freedom-projects  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The green hose is more flexible so comes without it, I recommend buying the white pipe which comes with the rubber hose if you don’t get it in the kit.
