Hey Jim Ian from Liverpool England here, don't listen to the idiots who disrespect you. You informed all of us that this might happen in regards to your knee. Personally I enjoyed revisiting some of your past work. Just goes to show how far you have come as an artist and a craftsman please don't let the idiots win keep doing what you do best creating fantastic art and content.
Hey Ian. I'm also in Liverpool (Maghull). Where are you? (Not stalking, just interested!! lol) Also, completely agree with your comments. I said the same during the "live" and in these comments.
Chad was always interested in original pieces and wood turning was one of his favorite genres to watch. Before he passed we were talking about getting a camera on him to do some wood turning and carpentry asmr/ instructional videos. But God had him return home before we had the opportunity. Thank you for your time to make this, this is a true blessing and you did a fantastic job. Thank you very much.
@michaelthr33d74 Thank you for the kind words. He was one of those souls that reminded me of a firework, rose fast and beautiful and loud but ended before anyone wanted him to. Silver lining is that his loss got me looking for God again and getting to know him and myself better. Sometimes ppl are in your life for a specific reason and time then their gone. Cherish every minute with loved ones even the hard times because they can be taken away from you and you'll wish you could have it all back, even for a moment.

Love Love Love that cherry burl. The emerald green was a good match for it. With the movement in the resin the side with the long resin looks like a waterfall. Great piece Jim.

Wow Jim, this is your channel and I would never expect you to make me happy nor would I ever threaten you. Sorry you had such a crappy week 😮 Just take it easy on your knee and I will continue to look forward to your content.
I love watching these episodes on our big TV on Sunday afternoons. Especially when it is cool inside and very hot outside. A nice little retreat. This is a beautiful piece. Both the actual physical piece and its future purpose as a resting place for what is obviously a beloved son. I am a hospice nurse at heart and have owned a hospice for over 20 years. Being respectful of those who have passed is part of my job. Jim, you did an amazing job of respecting and honoring Chad during the making of his urn. My respect for you as a person grew with this video. Hope the knee continues to improve. Sending prayers for a successful showing and closing on the house front. Peace, from Indiana.
Glad you are better. This is a beautiful urn but then everything you make is beautiful. I think there a people who are just very unhappy , and for some reason they want to make other people unhappy. No matter what you do they will be unhappy. So do what you do, I will watch regardless the format.
Jim, I'm 66 yrs & very new to wood turning. I enjoy all your videos and have learned so much from your voice over videos. Please don't stop. You are so knowledgeable in wood turning.
25:24 I’m guessing that the pressure pot cracked the hot glue seams. I like the idea of gorilla tape. Maybe try applying hot glue then adding gorilla tape while it’s still hot?
Jim, you are a master at what you do. I am honored to be able to watch and learn from you. Chads parents definitely picked the best person for the job.
Wow, what a beautiful resting place! I'm certain Kimberly will love and cherish it! I'm so glad your back and talking us all though your process, as we all LOVE to hear what you have to say! I like knowing what you’re doing. My toxic trait is I think I can create this stuff too. I would be honored to have you make urns for me and my family. This was beautiful ❤
Hi Jim Great to have you back, I understand the need to 'mother' an injury/disability sometimes. People who don't have injuries/disabilities don't & never will understand the need fir R&R periods. Nice to see a more wooden piece than resin, but I do like both. I like the full commentary, it give extra information, ie. the ration of body mass to virual square inch/cm space needed, etc The natural shape of the cherry burl easily showed its shape for an urn. Nice patterned wood 😂Bonus week for you though, in already doing the resin done for next with little cubes! Take care
P.S. I would have also liked the cherry burl base tenon as part of the finished piece as it sets it off to focus on middle & main part of the urn; but the finished urn is lively too
Designer Epoxy.. You did the family very proud and you should be. Who ever said they would unsubscribe from your channel if the other way was kept.. fine, let them.. you don't need them anyways. in saying that, I'm very happy then you brought the normal way back.
I recently bought a 4k monitor. The resolution is so fine that the screen looks like photograph. You can see all the detail that you'd see in person. This channel in 4k would be like being in your shop, up close, seeing the true structure of the piece as you're making it. Love your channel.
Jim, this piece is exceptionally beautiful and was very thoughtful of you to do upon being asked. It was also a coincidence that when the video came out, my uncle passed 😒 the day before Father's Day and is to be cremated. Happy belated Father's Day to you as well.
First my condolences to Chad's family on their loss. The urn turned out very beautifully. Wow cherry burl and emerald, what a combination. I'm also very happy to hear your knee is better.
I'm sure that she will be pleased with this urn for her son because it's very beautiful the green was the perfect choice to compliment the cherry burl another outstanding job
Hi Jim. Yet another exceptional piece to be proud of. I'm sure Kimberley and her family will be very happy with the urn. Great to have you back in action and hearing your dulcet tones once again! LOL The ASMR fans really don't know what they're missing out on. As always, have a great weekend 👍
I hope you took enough time off in order to give yourself a real chance to heal. I get sitting around is not something you like to do, but if you don’t take care of yourself, we won’t ever get to see any of these beautiful pieces that you do. I did miss your voice and I’m glad to hear you again. I was looking forward to that all week. Brilliant use of the liner. Great tips.
Okay, I made my first comment before you had a problem with the liner. Thanks for not giving up. In the meantime, get yourself a table rolling cart to transfer those heavy buckets to other places. That’ll take some of the pressure off of your knees and back. Do I need to tell your wife?? 🤔
What a great idea...my heart goes out to Kimberly....this is a beautiful urn for her son! Maybe the failure of the form happened for a reason....this way you got the right green! Absolutely beautiful! Glad you're feeling better!
Well, let's just say that making the urn was an adventure in the beginning but it turned out really nice. I really like it. I'm sure they are going to love it too.
I simply can not understand why anybody would give You a negative review!?😢 The kind of people that are quick to Hate, and find offense to things said, even when there were no intentions to offend. Great Work Jim!!!❤ Please keep supplying us with more eye and narration candy.😅
An absolutely beautiful memorial, I love the emerald green and the cherry burl is quite stunning, you have a big heart Jim and you are supported by all
People want to unsubscribe because you’re sick?! Unreal! Ungrateful! Let them go. You need healing.. They should have their own channel and do it better than you. Don’t let these few people bring you down. I know it hurts , but I’m sure the majority loves you. Dumbledore said that if you look for universal approval, you will sit in your hut for a very long time. If it’s not a bucket fight, it’s something else. Thanks for showing us all your struggles and sharing your thoughts. Anyway, another masterpiece. What a beautiful urn.
Sprague your a Rockstar. The reason your channel is so successful is because you are being you. Don’t ever change. I learn something new every time I watch your videos. Thank you for your experience and expertise.
I prefer the talky- talk, but appreciate your efforts is providing asmr. Hope your knee is doing well too. Don't let the haters make you feel bad for taking a week off, a lot of creators (once they gain a following) often increase the time between releases so they can focus on their art and perhaps do more complex or time consuming projects. Love your art, and this urn is a beautiful piece to hold a loved one.

Thank you very much!
I love listening to Jim, I have learned alot from him, I watch his asmr videos as well , Jim is the artist we need to let him do what he wants , his art is amazing no matter what, if some people unsubscribe so what! I am a dedicated fan of this mans art and will always support him
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
very nice... no wacky "looks like" this week, just a heartfelt "nice job."
Thanks so much!
I like knowing what you’re doing. My toxic trait is I think I can create this stuff too. I would be honored to have you make urns for me and my family. This was beautiful ❤
Thank you so much!
MOST BEAUTIFUL ♥️♥️♥️ PIECE YOU'VE EVER MADE💯👍👍👍👍👍LOVE THE GREEN!!!♥️♥️♥️
Thank you so much!
Designer epoxy. Beautiful. 😊 May they rest in peace.
Thanks so much!
It's gorgeous Jim. It's a wonderful tribute. My condolences to Kimberley and her family.
Thanks!
What a beautiful rememberance of their son you have made for this family! Gorgeous even before the finish is on it!
Thank you very much!
A beautiful and lasting tribute to a departed loved one. Stunning burl. Hope your knee is doing better.
Thank you very much!
Hi Jim
Great to have you back, I understand the need to 'mother' an injury/disability sometimes. People who don't have injuries/disabilities don't & never will understand the need fir R&R periods.
Nice to see a more wooden piece than resin, but I do like both. I like the full commentary, it give extra information, ie. the ration of body mass to virual square inch/cm space needed, etc
The natural shape of the cherry burl easily showed its shape for an urn. Nice patterned wood
😂Bonus week for you though, in already doing the resin done for next with little cubes!
Take care
P.S. I would have also liked the cherry burl base tenon as part of the finished piece as it sets it off to focus on middle & main part of the urn; but the finished urn is lively too
(Corrction) ..."lovely"
Thank you very much! I really appreciate it!
That. Is beautiful
Thanks so much!
Jim......Your work more than fulfilled the honour of making such a piece.
Designer Epoxy
Thanks so much!
A beautiful piece of art for the family to remember their loved one by. I hope it brings them peace.
Me too! Thank you very much!
Designer Epoxy.. You did the family very proud and you should be. Who ever said they would unsubscribe from your channel if the other way was kept.. fine, let them.. you don't need them anyways. in saying that, I'm very happy then you brought the normal way back.
Thank you very much!
I recently bought a 4k monitor. The resolution is so fine that the screen looks like photograph. You can see all the detail that you'd see in person. This channel in 4k would be like being in your shop, up close, seeing the true structure of the piece as you're making it. Love your channel.
Thanks for sharing! That is cool! Thanks!
Jim, we always watch your videos through to the end! This urn is a lovely tribute to Chad and I am sure his family will be pleased. Beautiful work.
Thank you very much!
It's a very beautiful piece. RIP Chad.
Thank you very much!
Jim, this piece is exceptionally beautiful and was very thoughtful of you to do upon being asked. It was also a coincidence that when the video came out, my uncle passed 😒 the day before Father's Day and is to be cremated. Happy belated Father's Day to you as well.
Many thanks!
First my condolences to Chad's family on their loss. The urn turned out very beautifully. Wow cherry burl and emerald, what a combination. I'm also very happy to hear your knee is better.
Thank you very much!
DON'T WORRY we love EVERYTHING you put out, so all's I have to say to the NAYSAYERS is STUFF IT!
Ha ha! Thanks so much! Much appreciated!
Very beautiful piece it was truly an honor for you to make the urn for your client. I'm sure they are very happy with the result.
I hope so! Thanks so much!
A very beautiful resting place and quick thinking to save that epoxy witch might be a blessing in disguise.
Thanks so much!
I'm sure that she will be pleased with this urn for her son because it's very beautiful the green was the perfect choice to compliment the cherry burl another outstanding job
Thanks so much!
Sorry for your loss Kimberly, RIP Chad 💞. Very beautiful piece Jim. No unsubscribe here, get of the knee. Thanks
Thanks so much!
Beautiful job. My deepest condolences to Kimberly and her family.
Thanks so much!
Designer epoxy. Should be a great final resting place. Must be a heartfelt result
Thank you very much!
Hi Jim. Yet another exceptional piece to be proud of. I'm sure Kimberley and her family will be very happy with the urn. Great to have you back in action and hearing your dulcet tones once again! LOL The ASMR fans really don't know what they're missing out on. As always, have a great weekend 👍
Thank you very much!
The heavy lifting is only part of it, staying on your feet for a 6 to 8 hour turning session is the real issue, lol. Thank you very much!
What a great idea...my heart goes out to Kimberly....this is a beautiful urn for her son! Maybe the failure of the form happened for a reason....this way you got the right green! Absolutely beautiful! Glad you're feeling better!
I think so too! Thanks so much!
Well, let's just say that making the urn was an adventure in the beginning but it turned out really nice. I really like it. I'm sure they are going to love it too.
Thank you very much!
I simply can not understand why anybody would give You a negative review!?😢
The kind of people that are quick to Hate, and find offense to things said, even when there were no intentions to offend.
Great Work Jim!!!❤
Please keep supplying us with more eye and narration candy.😅
Sure will! Thank you very much!
An absolutely beautiful memorial, I love the emerald green and the cherry burl is quite stunning, you have a big heart Jim and you are supported by all
Thanks so much! Much appreciated!
You are very kind! Thanks so much!
Sprague your a Rockstar. The reason your channel is so successful is because you are being you. Don’t ever change. I learn something new every time I watch your videos. Thank you for your experience and expertise.
I appreciate that 🎤🕺
A beautiful tribute to Kimberly's son. ❤
Thank you very much!
Didn’t expect to learn so much about urns, but here we are!
Bless that family, I hope they loved it. 🥰 😊
Thanks!
Thanks so much!
May Chad rest in peace in this work of art.
Condolences to Kimberly loosing a child is a terrible loss.
Thank you Jim for the 2:42 wonderful contribution and thank for our for sharing
Thank you very much!
