Summer is better than winter for sure, but the images on winter are always amazing. Great content
I have mixed feelings about that. I spent 15 years in Phoenix, summers absolutely suck. Now in Colorado, winters are cold, but summers are filled with mosquitoes (especially this year).

My F11 Pro arrived yesterday. Even though the wind was around 10mph I couldn’t resist taking it out. I was very pleased how well it handled the wind. My only issue is with the sd card. I only have 64gb. I will go out today and get a 32gb card to try. I watched many of your reviews on various drones before settling on the F11. Thanks for your work!
I think it prefers a 16 gig class 10 card
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thanks- I'll try that. I've tried two 64gb class 10 cards and the folder is blank when look at it on my laptop. Another reviewer said he used a 32gb class 10. I hope it's not an issue with the drone itself.

SJRC F11 has no position sensor but MJX B4W does, correct? Which one you prefer? SJRC has impressive 25 minutes fly time. That's just awesome!
I like the sleek look no bulky arms or body makes it lighter and more arrow dynamic.

Just got this very drone and it took some help from my brother-in-law to get it to the flying stage.
Haven't really learned how to fly it yet due to many days in a row of too much wind, but I'm looking forward to learning how to fly it SOON, right across the street from my apartment is 2 schools that have WIDE OPEN SPACES with fields a plenty!!!😎

Not DJI goggles. You may be able to use the cheap $20 VR goggles off of AMAZON if the App has that feature.
@@CAPTAINDRONE798 Thanks for the info. I've been working on a racing drone and I am very surprised at this feature-rich "finished" & "complete" product like this. I'm not even sure if Betaflight can do many of this features.... not to mention time to learn and tests to be done... and burnt parts. I'd probably stick with racing type, but think I will recommend something like this to friends who simply wants to take aerial videos. Cheaper and better.
Is it me or picture shacking is obviously? I would like to buy this one after I compared JJRC Heron, JJRC X7, SJRC Z5. It seems like F11 Pro is the best option.

I have ordered one, didn't get it yet but when I do, I'm going to write first impressions here.
I think it's because it seem as though the camera is not on a gimbal that will stabilize the capture. Gimbals are pricey and would up the overall price of the drone. It's actually why the more commercial drones have a much higher price.
I would really love to see you review the F11-S 4k Pro version, and prolly a side by side comparison to this here F11 4k Pro. What makes the 2 differ from each.
It seems like it needs a centralized subject follow option... instead of just "in frame" since the frame is so large

I almost bought it, but I went with the Bugs 5W because I didn't like the F11's camera, it looks too distorted to me.
@witeken Same mate, I just got the MJX BUGS 5W I am glad I bought it. It is such a nice drone for the price. The only problem is that it has many frame drops even on the sd card. Do you have that problem too? Is this fixable?
Holy Stone 720 and Ruko F11 pro are similar in price but looks like fly time is much greater with F11. When thinking about quality and features for price and being a beginner what do you suggest?

What's the motor life on that? Brush motor versus brushless
Brushed motors, like the ones in all your tools at home as well as appliances and vehicle motor parts, will wear out before brushless motors. For most people you'd toss your drone out long before the motors would wear out. The difference in brushed and brushless for drones is that brushless have more power instantly and they survive a crash really well.

Looks the same but I can't be sure. In China, drones are rebranded all the time under different names.
Hey why didn't you do a flight test. Dam, you never do a long flight test. What you scared? Do a long range flight test so we can see how far it goes . Gosh it isn't hard.

Question for anyone that might still be around. I will be using a drone for target shooting up to 600 yards. If I were to fly it out to the target, land it, and keep the camera on, how long would the battery last? Considering the target is about 4 feet high, would it be able to send video from the ground looking up from 10 to 15 feet or so? Can you think of anything else that I should consider for this use?

It’s a decent drone to start using but I don’t really like the camera and how there isn’t stability. We all have our own preferences though :)

For the price I would happily do digital stabilization. I am planning to get it as my first drone and go for something more premium once I feel confident flying it around.
Nice job as always Captain. Per your recent reviews on the JJRC X11 and the Lume Cube strobe, I'm all tapped out. Got the X11 bundle with 3 batteries and carry case. Batteries are charged and now go figure, it's raining. Typical Florida weather. Well. If I keep watching more of your reviews I'm going to have to see about getting you to co-sign on a loan lol. 20 minutes and range depends on how good your phone is, so average phone is 300 meters.

The camera is clearly much better, but I was also surprised that it didn't weigh even 1 gram more. I thought sure it would be at least 4 or 5 grams but no. Nice review, Cap/n & thank you.

The tearing in the drone video makes the footage unusable in my opinion, wish it was usable
Suggestion, for way points, do something other than a circle around you. Send it on a little mission like it is surveying an area (at least a large rectangle) Also no need for all the gimmicky stuff like hand follow me etc. Oh and one more request. For drones without gimbals show still photography since that part doesn't need gimbals.
Unfortunately when I do a review, it is based on how much time I can get with a battery. Waypoint missions are better suited to having one battery just for that.
If just the camera, ill stay with my original F11. HOPE someone make tweaks or mods. On how to put additional camera on f11, like action camera.

How can you tell how much connection strength there is between the controller and the drone? Will it let u know if you are getting close to the end of transmission distance?
It depends on the app. As soon as you image coming back starts to skip frames, then you either have to reposition your phone/controller or turn around.
Thank you for the info. I'm getting about 2100 meters with parayagi combo. Sometimes I get farther when I am just using the yagi antennas without the parabolic. So confusing

Captain, I have the JJRC X11. Its also 2K video but the camera resolution is horrible. The picture is only around 150KB. Not enough resolution to blow up to 8x10. Is this typical. I dont see any setting to change resolution.
You will need to move up to a better camera drone. Think of it this way... how much did you pay for that drone? Now, reduce the price you paid by 60% (that's how much the drone cost to make)... now take that small price and apply 40% of it to the camera... You probably have a drone with a $10 or 20 camera, so you can't expect much.

I'm watching many of your videos trying to understand and decide which one to buy.. It's cool. What would you suggest. Is gimbal camera really necessary to get balanced smooth shoot even in normal or slightly windy sky ..? I want to shoot myself playing guitar out in landscapes.
A gimbal is like night and day. If you can find a drone with one (like the Hubsan Zino or DJI Spark), the difference is massive.

Ummm.... have you seen the following drones:
- DJI Mavic (any of them)
- DJI Spark
- Autel EVO
- Parrot ANAFI
- Hubsan Zino
... and the list goes on and on when it comes to outstanding consumer drones under a grand that take true cinematic footage.
Have the GPS drones eliminated the need for constant trim adjustments? It seems as though the GPS enabled drones hover much more easily than some of the less expensive units...Thank's for the information...
Correct, there is no such thing as trim adjustment with a GPS drone.

I'm doing this from memory because I don't have this drone anymore. Sometimes you can get the maps to work by standing where you are about to fly, open the app, open the maps, zoom into your location. Now start up the drone & connect phone to wifi of drone, and call up the app... sometimes the maps worked.
Just got this for my birthday. Super fun! But every video I take stops at about :11 seconds and then there is no camera view showing on the app on my iPhone. I’m flying it close to my home so I turned off the Wi-Fi Auto Join function thinking perhaps that was interfering. It wasn’t. Now I’m wondering if it’s because I’m not saving to an SD card?? Any ideas?

Check the specifications of your phone. If your phone does not have the ability to connect to a WiFi signal at 802.11ac, then it will not work.

The X11/EX3 give you the most features for $$. The F11 is older technology.

The answer is YES and NO. Sometimes the code works with all currencies and other times it only works with US currency. It all depends on the distributor that provided the code to me.
