I just bought this and received a couple days ago. My only drone experience has been with a very cheap one that was very difficult to fly. The SRJC is a dream to fly for a beginner. It is so stable and easy to fly. A very informative video for a beginner
I shaved off 77grams from the original 584 stock grams and ..wow amazing results. I am flying faster and my flight time increased. Great drone to work on, changed the propellers to 8inch ones that have a quieter sound and better efficiency. Upgraded the 5ghz antennas you'll enjoy a longer FPV distance they are easy to do and add a bigger remote battery because now you can fly longer on one battery. Enjoy, I certainly am.
What did you do to lighten it up by 77 grams? I agree on replacing the 5ghz ant ... why would they use dummy antennas and then bury the real antenna inside the TX ... stupid.

You do the best review of a drone, I've ever seen. I have the F11 4K and my wifi disconnects often, just like this one did. I noticed it didn't reconnect. That is a problem I have a hard time with. I'm not sure what that happens. Great review.
Thanks :) Wifi is not very reliable even if it is 5G on this one. Try the F11S 4k pro. The wifi is good for 3km. It has a relay transmission to boost wifi.

Agreed, one of the better gimbal equiped budget quadcopters out there right now! Until now, you would still see all sorts of jittering in the footage of these cheaper gimbal-quads, but this combo with EIS works pretty darn good. Kinda gives the Fimi A3 (which is much older but with better range) a run for its money. And appreciated that you use 'quadcopter' instead of 'drone' ;-)
Yes, finally a decent video quad for $200! Now the rest just doesn't compare. I knew one day one of these company will cut the price on a contender. Still a work in progress but for $200, I can safely recommend it to all :) 🎅🎄🍹🍷🍺👍😍

Very well done. I have had one for about a year now and haven't flown it yet. I've watch a number of drone videos and wonder why everyone uses a phone with it. I just want to have fun flying around. Don't want to mess with a phone. Seems like it makes work out of it. I don't have a phone and am not going to get one just to fly a drone. I'm 79. You can't teach an old dog new tricks. I used to fly R/C many years ago, so am not new to joy sticks.

These seem to do everything well, while skipping any attempt at being "Fancy" - I don't need racing stripes or cool lights, I need a decent flyer, good range, good photography and - a GIMBEL at this price!!! This gives me everything, at budget levels. Do you think lack of headless mode will slow me down learning to fly well?

I bought this drone a week ago and Today I LOST it, I set the return home, it returned up to above me, shortly after it began to move away and could not find it, not even with the find drone function on the sjrc app: at the point indicated the drone does not was there and restarting the app after a few minutes gave me other positions of the drone. therefore i felt that the gps position was not real. a delusion! it reported 1500 meters as the maximum distance and 1200 meters as the maximum distance for image transmission, but at about 400 meters maximum the image went away. A DELUSION
Be careful when buying this product. Be sure to take an unboxing video. I bought one body and two batteries, but I only sent one battery, so I asked for one more, and they admitted that they missed it, but they only refunded $2.(The price of one battery is about $4...)
The construction looks pretty solid... is this SJRC F11 4K PRO still worth it or is there a better one in the same price range that you could recommend instead? Thank you for the comments!

Why do all the F11 Drones I have tried track in follow mode sideways... like a profile follow? I gave up after 2 Ruko Brand and one SSRJ. I assume it's a FW issue, but all 3 did the same thing.
How funny, I just posted something about my camera problem, but thought I was in an other page. So I went to my bookmarks where I saved my original viewing of 'yours' but realised it's the same! So I replayed your entire video and now can associate with many things you tried here as I experienced and learnt many of them. So thank you again. One question, somewhere you mentioned a distance of 900m so why the D for distance shows only 300 something? I was not so enthusiastic about that low battery return home and yes I noticed, (sometimes to my detriment) it kicks on at about 15 mins. mark. In my case I feel robbed of about 10 minutes flight because I keep moving with it. So I really have to watch that 'kick on' that is indicated by red lights blinking for a few seconds before it takes off to its last starting point. At a low altitude it may also head to a tree or even yourself if you're on its way before it soar up to the designated height it's set.
I keep going back to your review as a soon I seem to fix/understand a problem another one crops up. Now my camera is not moving properly. At the start it moves up and down a few times (when it does) Next it is stuck to the sky so I can film only from 50cm above the ground! Perhaps someone may have a solution for this (The control will 'kind' of work during that time...

i have the non gimbal version from contixo but its an f11pro same body same battery , i liked that drone alot and wish it had a gimbal and what do you know found this at amazon and just placed an order i also have dji air2s but only use it for the video photography but being a beginner i dont fly it much and just practice on the f11 pro so anyway awesome view
Just noticed the distance it went. It suppose to go 1200m for visuals and 1500m for control. A little disappointed there. He had no opsticals in his way as well
Good question. I believe by default it starts off in beginner mode so if flying with the remote solo without a smart phone, it will fly in the beginner mode. But if you set it to beginner mode with the app and fly it without the app, it will be in the beginner mode as well.

Absolutely! The gimbal and EIS makes this one the clear winner. If you can afford it, go with more expensive DJI products but for $200, it is pretty damn good :) 😍👍

I wonder if anyone would know how to disable the auto return on low battery. I fly this drone for a walk about the area where I live and do not want it to return anywhere but land where I am when the battery is down.
@@ifierceleonlee6776 I don't know either. Maybe the they ran out or maybe the crew caught covid or maybe they are trying to cut costs. If you are buying one then talk to the seller to make sure it has it.

You shouldn't use headless mode to learn to fly but if you do then use a smaller toy quad to learn before flying a brushless quad to be safer.
Forget headless mode cause you never really use it anyhow . It is a great product .

a short press followed by a long press turns off remote.

I don't know either. Maybe the they ran out or maybe the crew caught covid or maybe they are trying to cut costs. If you are buying one then talk to the seller to make sure it has it.

Guys, which drone would you choose: SJRC F11 PRO 4K or F7 4K Pro? F11 seems to have a better camera, but F7 camera is detachable and can be upgraded. It's hard to choose.
