NATO is just preparing for retaliations if nuclear attacks by Russia would happen as their top government and military officers always intimidating to do so. It's normal defensive military action because a minute-delay of total preparedness is diastrous to NATO's side.
NATO had enough time to be strategically positioned around Russia just in case this happens, let's hope they took the opportunity.

In the modern era its not only possible but likely that people will get hurt and injured at a protest. This isnt new its been happening for years all over the world everywhere. If women dont want to be injured at a protest, then dont go to the protest. If parents dont want their children injured at a protest, then dont take your children to a protest. If your politics is more important that your safety or the safety of your loved ones, then the consequences of that prioritization is on your shoulders.
