    The fact that we get free documentaries on TH-cam by National Geographic is truly a gift 👍👍👍
    May I also remind you the fact that around 15-20% of innocent North Korean civilians perished due to indiscriminate aerial bombardment during Korea war. Moreover, over a million innocent North Korean civilians also perished in famine due to never-ending Western sanctions..Fact: North Korea is considered by many independent research organizations as the most harmonious and morally upright nation in the world.

    • @condorX2
      @condorX2 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Same here. I learned a few things.
      When i saw the news by those so call western medias, it only show the killing part. They never mention about the CIA regime change part.
      If you think about it, the CIA was responsible for Kim half brother death.
      I got curious and look up famous operations by the CIA. It seem they're well known for putting ruthless dictators on the throne.
      The most infamous episodes include the ousting of Iranian Prime Minister Mohammed Mossadegh in 1953 - whose government was replaced by an authoritarian monarchy favorable to Washington - the removal and assassination of Congolese leader Patrice Lumumba in 1961, and the violent toppling of socialist Chilean President Salvador Allende, whose government was swept aside in 1973 by a military coup led by the ruthless Gen. Augusto Pinochet. (American dad made a episode on this one with the dancing dictator?)
      CIA involvement in coup 1965 is one great example on how the west took sides by supplying weapons, made propaganda and indirectly killed more than 3 million innocent lives. Their strategy is based on "divide and conquer". This document was declassified by CIA because many activists around the globe condemn the war crimes of US and their allies. Not only that, CIA overthrew the legit president of indonesia and replaced it with a corrupt Suharto who supported the US. That's how US mining company 'freeport' got hold of indonesian biggest gold mine.
      In 1954, Washington unseated Guatemala's left-wing president, Jacobo Arbenz, who had had the temerity to challenge the vast control of the United Fruit Co., a U.S. corporation, with agrarian laws that would be fairer to Guatemalan farmers. The CIA went on to install and back a series of right-wing dictatorships that brutalized the impoverished nation for almost half a century.
      CIA always worked with NED. (National Endowment for Democracy). They always try to destabilize any country with different ideology. All started way back after the end of world war 2, the cold war started. US sees other ideology as dangerous and feel the need to bring democracy to all countries, so in other words, every US presidents starting from harry s truman are all involved. Believing democracy as a perfect system that all countries MUST adopt. This made US act aggressively and invade nations with different ideology, creating wars and chaos around the globe.

    I shall never forget, nor stop appreciating the one time when Kim was playing hide and seek with the rest of the world that was already speculating he may have died while good ol’ Trump was all like: “I know where Kim is but I ain’t telling anyone.” Definitely one of the weirdest bromances of all time.

    • @The_Lucent_Archangel

      I honestly think he wanted to come to an understanding with Trump, but he's as much a prisoner to the system as anyone. If he had relaxed his grip by moving forward in any serious way, any number of others including his sister would likely capitalize on the perceived weakness. The way they regarded each other in terms of body language and that impromptu jump over the DMZ into the North, they had a rapport.
      Then the neocons, left and right, took back over in the US and he knew it was best to reassume the "threaten-get concessions-threaten" posture again. He isn't stupid, and has been watching what happened with Iraq, Libya, etc. He knows that the career politicians of the US would love to forcibly remove him, so what choice does he have? I genuinely wish it could have turned out differently, because I think the world is lesser for being deprived of North Korea's people just as most of them are deprived of a proper standard of living.

    I sort of get Stalin vibes from his sister, like her body language is very similar in a way also being that close to the top is reminiscent of how Stalin was a quite person that no one really payed attention to despite being the general secretary of the party. Жирик, Stalin tried to implement democratic reforms in 1936, but The Great Patriotic War mixed up his plans. Ezhov was responsible for the Purges of 1937-1938. Beria is one of the most underappreciated soviet leaders. He ended the Great Purge, and headed the soviet atomic bomb program post-war.
