Jay I watched this video again. A lot of work for sure. Another thought I want to add is this. If I learned anything from the FX power wheels and micro adjusters is that you need to pick the projectile you want to use most. Then start at 800 fps and micro adjust going up and so on. I bet you for any projectile, you will find the speed out of any barrel that groups dime size. Did you by any chance shoot this at 50? I didn’t see any video.
I have, some could get close to dime size 5 shots but most were slightly bigger than a nickle or there about. Still trying to figure out to get ultimate accuracy.. hmmm...
I think he might of changed them .. One thing is that Griffen changes their slugs so much. I would write them and email. I have had slugs on their site and then they are gone.

Turns out my talon doesn’t like slugs. Even the avs boat tails shot left and inconsistently. The bbest they shoot are 33gr jsb exact heavy or hn barracuda hunter extreme at 28g-ive tried 5 different slugs in the 40gr range and all shot left. I even tried to compensate with a fully adjustable scope mount to no avail. Maybe my talon is a dud in relation to slugs
So a few things you can try is to shoot alot of them through the rifle and then clean the barrel really well and try again. My best is at 55 yards 5 shots in a dime BUT, most were not like that. I seem to get mor FLYERS with the condor and talons than I want for consistent shots. So Still trying to narrow down a consistent way to tune and treat the barrels for consistent accuracy. It not as simple as I would like for sure.
For all you talon p and condor users these pcp like .294 in 34 h&n hp 2 , talon p moves them at 848 fps AND my condor ss moves them a 976 no adjustment needed

Finally found the problem-the stock moderator was clipping-changed to Donny FL ronin 25/30 and now shoots heavier slugs well
@@maxsmalls1606 nice, yea man it can be a pain.
Heavier slugs have more bearing surface with the rifling - they are grabbed more firmly by the bore. Twist rate is not that important.
Just push an accurate slug through the bore with a cleaning rod. Then do the same with the one which is not accurate. You will notice some big diff.

You'll need to push those slugs a lot faster for grouping at 75 yards. Maybe closer to 900 fps
