This is absolutely amazing. Fantastic craftsmanship. I wish I had the time and passion to do stuff like this again. I have a Darth Vader and Stormtrooper set of armor. Neither are very comfortable to wear so I've always wanted to build a Boba Fett as it seems more flexible and less like being encased in Tupperware.

This is why I call bullpoop on Pascal walking off set because "the armor was too uncomfortable" yeah... Right.

This looks amazing! Well done! And your build is similar enough that all of it looks authentic from the show.
As a personal opinion, I do think it looks a bit too dark, compared to the show, but it could be the light, I would like to see it with another coat of the metallic paint.
A question. Can't you use some transparent varnish or something to protect the surface of the paint? If it's so touchy, normally in conventions and such you can end bumping into someone or vice-versa.

Okay, this is awesome. It has come together nicely. It already inspired a few ideas for future upgrades:
    - those thermal detonators could be their own little devices with a switch and a light show, detachable from the belt
    - those arm pieces could get some functionality... like the left one is predestined to house a toy BB gun and maybe some sound effects with switches
    - speaking of BB guns, you totally need a BB gun in the shape of a blaster to go with the costume

Your flak vest goes over the cummerbund. So when you are kitting up you need to put the cummerbund on before the vest. Also you will be able to add another set of Velcro on the vest to beet help the ab armor stay on.

I was wondering how you attached the chest piece and now I know. Since I wasn't sure I used velcro towards the top but also added straps and buckles that attach to the back plate like I saw you do with your clone armor. This actually made it easier for me to keep both the back and chest on so I dont have to worry about it falling to the ground if it comes loose from the velcro.

I print pretty fine at 0.2mm.
Then sand with 120 grid sandpaper and 180 grid. No need to go super smooth yet.
    2 coats of Sprayfiller
2 runs of 180 grid sandpaper until 90% smooth
2 coats of gloss black and it is super smooth.
After that it is just whatever you need for your armor or blaster.
I find that way of doing it, saves alot of time sanding.

Great work man, I admire your attention to detail (and willingness to spend money on it). Just started my own version, which will probably not be 501st-approved quality, but still as close as I can get. If I am anywhere near your level, I'll be one happy camper. (oh, another coating of Malumaletmecostya might help, the beskar IS a little dark, you were right about that).
