Love your work man, I got a 3D printer cause of ya and I’m just about to start the same project on building the Mando armour, helps when you can follow someone in steps!
To be fair to Ender, it's one of the normal normal sizes for 3D printers, and at that the most common one. Also, you can print models in parts and join them later with glue or solvent welding, or friction welding if that's possible.
Lovely vid man, I love your stuff! I'm working on my first helmet (a Phase II clone trooper) at the moment, and I can without a doubt say that you are the number one source of inspiration, and I actually am using your files! Please keep up the wonderful work, dude! But, can I just say your wording here (5:08) was a bit...interesting... "Stretch 𝕆 𝕌 ℝ 𝘽 𝙊 𝘿 𝙄 𝙀 𝙎"

Oh man, I'm so mad I didn't get the notification for this one! I am working on my first ever helmet right now and it just so happens to be a Mandalorian! I finally built up the courage to print one and after around 40 hours of printing I took it off and I'm now on the sanding stage. Can't wait to finish it up!
No way!! I was just hoping you would make a series like this. I was planning on buying your files once I am done with my battlefront II arc trooper build. The files for that are also from your website!
It is looking good. I too started at the first of Oct to make the Mando Armor, but not for me. For my son that turns 10 this month. Look forward to picking up some tips from your build. Cheers.
i just bought this file and others hope it goes well for me to bad it did not have the long rifle cant wait for my neptune 3 plus to get here and start
So its end of march 2021. I finally broke down and started making my own Mando costume. the Helmet is done just waiting to paint the chrome . I am 3d printing the abs plate and next the chest. I am using my FLSUN I3 plus it was cheap and I have it working good to get these prints.
Excellent Start! I've been thinking about my approach to making a costume of my own, and the idea of using the flight suit from that cheap costume set is brilliant!
Looks good.... Insane timetable trying to finish a Mando costume in a month .... Course most of the armor was already printed which helps.... What your calling thermal detonators are the bounty pucks Can't wait to see the finished product 👍
Here is a tip for reaching back zippers since I had those for my Cats costumes - I asume that the zipper piece that moves up and down has some sort of hole in the handle like mine: Get a badge holder or something simular with a fairly long tread over a click on thing and attach that end to the thing that make the zipper go up and down. When you have put the flight suit on you simply reach for the badge holder and use it to draw the zipper up until its in place - Then you should have no problem removing the badge holder and youre good to go. Johan.
Galactic Armory I’m not making a bunch of the pieces, but really struggling to get the gauntlets and pauldrons made. I did use a Nerf gauntlet for the right one though, and it’s really cool to have a working gauntlet
Looking good already, pretty good amount done already. Though if you ever want to get approved with the Mandalorian Mercs like you did with the 501st, I think it'll require some modifications.
@@paperdude6610 I've done the chest plate and have almost finished the weapons, the big thing will be to get bandoliers and stuff. I should finish it by the end of December
This is awesome. I joined the Mandalorian Mercs costume club about a year ago after finding out about it through a friend. I did join your patreon but it's not registering on the site yet. Hopefully it will go through soon. Love your content!
Hey awesome build! question about the costume you bought for the flight suit, you tried the vest on yourself but when putting it on the manikin you didn't use the vest. Is the vest not needed? I've seen that a lot of people attach their chest armor to that, just wanna be sure i get it right! Thanks in advance!
Awesome job man!! Super hyped for season 2 of the mandalorian!! I’ve got printers but never printed an entire suit. Might do hope they turn out like yours 😂 probably not.
Hey could you add the other ankle thing and a matching front leg plate thing to it cause I just wanna paint it my own way and not be specifically the mandolorian
if i were to purchase the printer you have linked how much extra cost would i have to prepare for material wise? And how hard would the printing process be with absolutely no knowledge of what im doing with a 3D printer? Thanks in advance!
Thanks again ! Great content. I grabbed up the undersuit like you suggested. The company has “just the suit” with none of the fake armour pieces. So much better. Question. My shoulder armour pieces don’t quite fit my shoulders… is there a way to “build “ them out so the Velcro holds better ? Appreciate any feedback from anyone.

It would be cool if he makes his own custom mandalorian armor
Ben halstead I’m building one out of foam. It’s a Jedi-Mando combo.
KingJake2511 I’m thinking of making something like that and trying to make either a purple version of the darksaber or yellow
Volt - that’s awesome!
I am I am making a blue deathwatch I have run out of plastic for my 3D printer but after that I’m done
Everything Military I might be getting a printer soon, I want to 3D print some parts of my costume. Gauntlets are hard to make
The cats name is Momo? That’s adorable! Ps my helmet is arriving tomorrow!
I guess if he had a horse it might have been named Appa

i’d recommend the ender 3. I got one about a month ago. It’s a little small but it works great and I got it for $165

I think it’s really cool that you’re sending free updates of the armor to those that purchased it already. Stay awesome!
You should do a rebel pilot helmet that would be really cool a lot of really interesting paint jobs and I would totally buy a few prints

I’d love to build a s1e1 Din, yours looks amazing. I’m not as crafty and probably will be buying most of it lol
Super cool! Excited to see how it turns out!
I love the articulation in your chest piece! Really good stuff. I may have to borrow some of your techniques for a Batman cosplay, haha
Have fun sanding bro! Took me like 10 months to put mine together.
Using the e6000 glue with the Velcro on the flight suit, will that glue hold up to keep the velcro in place if used in a machine wash?
Dude yes, the turtle beach headphones! YEAAAAAAAS!
Amazing vid dude! This is an amazing print. I was wondering if you could do a series on the heavy Mandolorian armor.
This is going to be awesome! I’m getting a 3D printer soon, and I’m making a Mando costume too!
Do it!
Galactic Armory I’m not making a bunch of the pieces, but really struggling to get the gauntlets and pauldrons made. I did use a Nerf gauntlet for the right one though, and it’s really cool to have a working gauntlet
Judging from the damage printed on the thigh armour, I would say that supposed to be the armor wore right at the beginning of the series.
Don’t keep us waiting to long ! I’m so eager to see the next episode already :)
how would you attach some shin plates onto pants? i did velcro but it’s way to loose
I have been waiting for this! Great work!
You should make a clone pilot helmet!
How well does the E6000 hold the velcro on???
Aaww! Little kitty matches your suit.
Can't wait for the finished costume! Best wishes Aaron ^^
So you attached the Velcro with e6000 directly to the cloth right?

Subbed since I’m going through this same process. Gotta start over on the helmet though. Damn thing shifted on me mid print.
what part of that showed me how to make my own? You just bought it all!
You're ditching the vest that the chest plate mounts to? The Beskar kit has a dark grey one.
Where did you get the mannequin? It would be nice to display one of my suits.
Have you (or anyone else) done any calcs on how to scale your files to match the height of the wearer?
Yes I was just checking to see if he would or if someone could.
