Me and my boy see a couple guys up in the sky every now and then out here in Missouri and we stop and watch everytime. Never knew this is exactly what they were doing so this is super sick finding your page. It’s something I’d like to get into one day, looks sick
I hope you never have an accident. But remember if you do, Dell is going to make a video about you. And if crashing wasnt bad enough, that would really suck. Please be careful……you dont trust the wing for a reason! Love the videos man!
I recall chasing you at the flying circus and kept bracing for rough air after watching your Freeride bounce around just ahead and then I didn't feel anything on my 23m Qubik. That's definitely a different class of wing compared to anything I've experienced.
My FR2 19m is fine in a bit of turbulence. I live in the dessert with mountains, so I catch a lot of thermals and rotor. My only complaints are the hands free oscillations and heavy brake pressure. My shoulders are burning after an hour of flying. When I want to chill, I go back to my Speedster 3, which replaced my Colorado after it got too porous. Honestly, I should have bought another Colorado, I miss it terribly.
@@jasonsatterley4282 It’s just a great intermediate wing that I have a lot of hours under. It’s easy to inflate, easy to fly, and has a nice trim range.
@@JudsonGraham yeah. Me on a 19m is like you on a 15m to get the same loading. They’d have to make a 24.5m Freeride for me to feel like you do on a 19m. 🤣
@@JudsonGraham choosing a wing .is a bit like choosing a brand of car. some people like it some don't. each to their own." live and learn or learn and live" a bit like life.🤨
Ulanzi Super Clamp Ball Mount Clamp 1/4''Screw 360° Rotatable Ballhead W9Z6 a must have for ur selfie stick. I have it on my Mac fly way better just hook it to ur swing arm.
I fly 100% loaded on a 21 freeride2, very different experience in turbulence. I came from a 28 sirocco3 and i actually prefer the freeride in bumps, it feels totally bulletproof and cuts through the bad air. I haven't taken it into thermals yet but I've gone into some nasty rotor and poor conditions with 0 issues or discomfort so far.
@TONYPARAMOTOR it's barrel paradise, it does dive pretty hard so you do want some altitude if you plan on going back-to-back. Wingovers are absolutely effortless
@@direfrost9879 sorry iam late getting back..the freeride 2 21m is also my size also . I am saving for another wing . either a warp 2 or freeride 2 21m. tx for the knowledge.😀
Interesting the usual progression seems to be, get onto a 14/15m absolute hot sauce, fly a bit then realise stepping back and flying something with a bit of margin is the most fun. Although saying that, it looks like the swoops are phattttt
pretty surprised to see your opinion on the fr2. I agree not the best in bumps but it has never scared me. flying it in bad air does make my arms hurt. since I got it has been my daily . probably have over 100 hours on it. I guess I'm still in love with it. that being said a viper xc is going to be ordered soon for my xc flights.
One thing I was thinking about last night as I was flying. I didn't account for where you have been flying it. You have had it in areas that have way more turbulence than here in PA.
@JudsonGraham ya taking a gnarly collapse on any wing will immediately reduce your confidence, both in it and potentially in flying in general. That's where I like Dudeks approach to collapses. We all appreciate you honesty and openness about it though.
@jammer4578 Ozone takes the approach of recovering from collapses well. Dudek takes the approach of never taking the collapse in the first place. Should you take one, might suck more but you are less likely to take one at all. In my and others experience.
I had dinner with the designer, and he said its incredibly on edge and does not think it should be flown a lot out side of competition. one thing i know about ozone is that their collapse recovery is amazing, not so sure on the S3
I got a really good idea for you to make extra money with this thing but I don’t want to say it in the comments cuz someone might steal it but if you like or comment I’ll tell you and as soon as you like the comment with the idea I’ll delete it, if you don’t like the idea don’t like the comment
Nice one. Honest opinions. This is what the paramotor comunity need

Had the same feelin on first one. Im not suprised second one feels the same.

What’s nicer about the Colorado?

If I flew that wing I would demand to wear Depends as much as I require wearing my helmet!!
This is such a niche video, really geared at those deep into the sport. I enjoyed it 😂
Still loving my Freeride 2, but she certainly dances in the bumps. Yesterday was one of those days.
i think the 14 makes it worse. I flew a 19 in some bumpy air the other day and it was fine

Why does this guy not have more subs
Great video!
And I thought my 23 meter A wing was small. I can't imagine flying a 14m wing

yep indeed
The whole"usual progression thing"bugs me so bad.
Any chance you ever fly in Sonoma county ? More specifically lake Sonoma ??

I took some really gnarly collapses on it, and think im still dealing with stuff from the adventure wingman.

How did you get into flying these
What about the mustache for a daily?

Try snake 3

try the warp216m for you or even the 15m

Sturgill Simpson doesn't really fit in any genre, or class.
He has no equal either.
