They're just different gloves. The EX-10 is a sturdier glove and will last longer, and the 574 mesh is lighter but might not last as long. I think I like the feel equally, it just depends on how I'm feeling on a certain day.
i think its a great model. probably the best middle infield model they offer unless you like the japanese style gloves. i love that they added it to the softball builder too
It depends on what you like in a glove. If you want something more comfortable, EX-10. If you want something lighter, Japan Select. Personally, I like sacrificing comfort for the light weight of the Japan Select. The Japan select has almost no padding, though, so be careful!

I really like the EX-10. If 44 keeps it up I don’t see why they can put the padded loops as an extra cost on other models

Is the weight similar to a regular leather 11.5 or is it noticeably heavier?
It’s a bit heavier than a regular 11.5” glove. But remember this is 11.75” so already might be heavier anyway
