If they never compared their gloves to HOH and Pro Proffered I wouldn’t be making those comparisons at all but I am just for you all so you know.
What exactly seems low quality and what model did you get, Signature or C2? 44 feels like a cheaper version of an A2000. Bought the JP11 and ended up selling it for a loss. I’d look into the Wilson Glove Bonanza. Bought an A2000 for 185 and also a A2K for 235.
My son has been asking for one for awhile now, thanks for the video...I didn't notice the flag color option for the 44 logo, I'll check that out he is a sucker for American flags for some reason...
Well it mostly comes down to what position you play. Typically you would get something around 11.25 or 11.5 on the infield but in the outfield I would recommend getting either 12.5 or 12.75. If you are getting a 44 you could try requesting a tighter hand stall or if you’re getting a Wilson you should get one that has the “Pedroia fit” which means it’ll have a tighter wrist/ hand slot
@@陳歪歪-e6b The Japanese models are light but shallow pockets. My last 44 was a Japan Select 11.5 and it's great for middle infielders. Also surprisingly loud when catching w/it. I wouldn't want to take a fastball to the palm though.
Do people just not know about Nokona gloves anymore? I've never in my life felt a better glove than the ones Nokona makes. Nolan Ryan even has a story about buying his first Nokona. Granted, it could still be a Texas thing since they're out of Nokona, TX, but I would've figured they'd be more popular today based on how it was back in the 90s and early 00s.
I would actually say that they aren’t better than a hoh or pp They are sold at an incredibly cheap price and they are just slightly less high quality I’d say 44 is simply the best bang for your buck
Love the channel. I was wondering what you think about 44 VS Rico youth glove. My son has a A2000 11.25 Pedroia fit now and he loves it. I am looking for a quality gloves for when he plays the outfield 11.75. I already looked into Rawlings and Wilson gloves in that size for youth players, and they don’t have any, so I was thinking about going with the 44 or Rico. Thanks.
I’m debating buying a infielder like glove for outfield I just love the webs and feel of a much smaller glove just feels more secure to me. Everyone thinks I’m stupid for that but it’s my glove I’m gonna pay for it. Yk?
Looking at the first 44 gloves it makes me think "Wow! That looks like a piece of s***!", but looking at their latest gloves it makes me think "Wow! That looks so good!"
What was the color of the web of the glove with full blonde and dual welting? I couldn’t tell and couldn’t find it on their website. Was it just gray because it looked a little blue? Or was that the navy Great video like all the others btw

Can you give us more info on your slow pitch glove please I’m looking at getting one but I’m not sure which model is good for that so could you make a more in detailed video on it
Bought a 44 glove and its just so tough, we have tried everything to break it in!! Im not impressed so far.. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! It seems to be good quality but the ball definitely pops ou the glove when the kid tries to field with it..had to switch back.
What your thoughts on the crown tip 44? Pros/cons? I think it's sick looking but, would it be a good option for a 9u SS, or should we go youth model for him
Love your videos. What glove do you recommend around $200 around 12.5-12.75"? I play middle infield in slow pitch and bought a 12.25" 44 Pro, but it's a bit small.
They feel different for sure and it’s all about preference so everyone is different but I’d say dual welting is going to cause the finger stalls to feel thicker/stiffer
Thanks so much for the video. Out of curiosity how do the 44 gloves play in sizing compared to Rawlings and A2000. I play mens softball with a 12” ball and the 13” Bryce Harper HOH felt small for my liking. I also ordered a A2000 13.5 inch (Model 135SS) and it felt about the same size as the Rawlings 13” HOH…small. I wanted something that played about .5 inch bigger than the two gloves mentioned and had a deeper pocket. Do you think the Pro 44, 13.5 inch, Softball, H-web would suit me well given the info above?
@@ballgloveking I put an Rawlings H web into a Nokona glove, replacing the basket weave. Franken-glove. Looking forward to trying out a 44 in the near future.
Would you reccomend a 44 or a nokona? Is 44 as good as it seems for as cheap as it is. or go with a 350-400 dollar glove in nokona where they seem extremly nice compared to 44.
So 44 is great for the price For $300 you could get a fantastic glove Nokona sells a fantastic glove for closer to $400 My point is that you could get the same quality from other brands for cheaper Rawlings Heart of the Hides for example, fantastic glove for around $280 (never get a Rawlings heart of the hide R2G)

I coach highschool baseball and i have alot of kids who use 44 pro gloves and EVERY SINGLE glove of theirs ive used i hate how shallow the pocket feels. I’m talking outfield / catcher / infield / first they all feel very very awkward to catch bc of the pocket. Cant get myself to get one even if they do go on sale a ton . Rather get something that feels more quality on the hand .
I understand what you mean, I’ve seen a ton of 44’s and the problem is more to do with the person breaking it in. With that being said it may not be the case for the ones you’ve seen lol you could have gotten super unlucky. Companies like Wilson and Rawlings do better at making a glove that feels pretty good even if it was broken in terribly
@@ballgloveking you know I thought that bc some kids did traditional others did 2 in the picky but i had a player who wanted me to shape his gloves (he likes the shape of all the gloves i carry around) and brand stinking new i didnt like how it felt either , 3 months later its more broken in and i still cannot get comfortable with it . 44 feels like a cheaper version of an A2000. Bought the JP11 and ended up selling it for a loss.
I’d look into the Wilson Glove Bonanza.
Bought an A2000 for 185 and also a A2K for 235.
Those were really good deals I remember that
Awesome video and details!
My son has been asking for one for awhile now, thanks for the video...I didn't notice the flag color option for the 44 logo, I'll check that out he is a sucker for American flags for some reason...
Hey bro I was looking to buy a new glove. I was wondering what size I should get as a 11 year old with smaller sized hands.
@@ballgloveking thanks for the help
Hello Chris , this video is awesome!
Could u recommend which 44gloves is deep pocket and light weight?
I’d go with the 574 model, it isn’t necessarily a light model but it isn’t heavy. It does have a deep pocket though
@@ballgloveking
How about jp11 or jp select ?
I owned a nokona glove and it got small so I had to buy a new glove, but I went back onto nokona’s website and they were all 500+
I see these 44s all the time. How are they better than the rawlings hoh and pro preferred?
I would actually say that they aren’t better than a hoh or pp
They are sold at an incredibly cheap price and they are just slightly less high quality
I’d say 44 is simply the best bang for your buck
Or was that the navy
Great video like all the others btw
Good question, it’s navy blue and it’s got some major fading from the sun after using it
Hey great vid. What color is the webbing on your blonde pro44 gamer from last year? Also when you order do you order it stiff? Thanks keep up with the content!!
It’s navy but it faded cus he hit watered it, He got it pro stiff, he has a vid on it! Also, he got dual welting to make it stiffer.
@@aaronurtez4805 damn I almost ordered the teal. Thanks for answering
I got a custom Rawlings HOH for 400 n got a custom 44 for 150 w sale but it’s would be 210
Can you give us more info on your slow pitch glove please I’m looking at getting one but I’m not sure which model is good for that so could you make a more in detailed video on it
Awesome video! So much good info! Do you have any codes for 44? Thank you
Thanks! But I do not sorry
Pros/cons? I think it's sick looking but, would it be a good option for a 9u SS, or should we go youth model for him
youth model is not a bad idea, but the crown tip is great. There isn't any major positives or negatives with them
What colors did you use for the first glove
Love your videos. What glove do you recommend around $200 around 12.5-12.75"? I play middle infield in slow pitch and bought a 12.25" 44 Pro, but it's a bit small.
If I go bigger than 12.25" on 44, it changes into an outfield glove. Does the outfield glove have same shape as the infield?
What size is your softball glove
Hey I was wondering if you have any experience with a Pro 44 catchers mitt? Ordered one during easter sale really excited for it.
Solid gloves, gonna take a TON of work to break in!
Would rather rock with a dual or single welting and what is the difference between both of them in performance
They feel different for sure and it’s all about preference so everyone is different but I’d say dual welting is going to cause the finger stalls to feel thicker/stiffer
So is duel welting a yay or nay?
It’s different for everyone but I’m a pretty big fan honestly
My experience has been that they play true to size so a 13.5” should work and yes the H web is the best web in my opinion!
@@ballgloveking thanks for taking the time to reply!
@@ballgloveking I put an Rawlings H web into a Nokona glove, replacing the basket weave. Franken-glove. Looking forward to trying out a 44 in the near future.
What you think is the best for short stop and 3rd
What brand would you recommend for adults with smaller hands?
Hey man thanks for the vid, do you have any experience with their C2 gloves? I’ve heard mixed reviews
I’ve actually never had one somehow
I have also heard mixed reviews so I’m not really helpful
@@ballgloveking Right on, may be a good excuse to get yourself another new glove 😊
Would you reccomend a 44 or a nokona?
Is 44 as good as it seems for as cheap as it is.
or go with a 350-400 dollar glove in nokona where they seem extremly nice compared to 44.
So 44 is great for the price
For $300 you could get a fantastic glove
Nokona sells a fantastic glove for closer to $400
My point is that you could get the same quality from other brands for cheaper
Rawlings Heart of the Hides for example, fantastic glove for around $280 (never get a Rawlings heart of the hide R2G)
Thanks for the advice!
Hey bud
Looks like you know what your talking about when it comes to gloves
My kid is young 7 years old
Small hand
I want an 11 inch
What would be be for his next step
Youth infield glove
Thanks
Its so weird bc im not someone whos picky about glove brands/web shapes or anything but theres something about 44 pros thats noticeably uncomfortable for me
STRAIGHT FACTS
I know you posted this a couple years back, but I was wondering what size did you get your blonde "gamer from last year" for slow pitch in? I have a perfect a2000 for baseball but recently joined a slow pitch softball league and want to make sure I get one that can handle a softball with a med-deep pocket while still giving me the ability to make swift transfers. Any recs? Also have you experimented with different webs for your softball gloves enough to give a recommendation? I would really appreciate your expert opinion. Thanks
How about have you tried those nokona gloves ? If so how do you like them ?
Whats the glove model for the gamer you used for softball.
The red and yellow glove was inspired by McDonald’s
