I shamelessly close my glove like "Mr. Just got a brand new 44 and don't know how to close a glove" 😂 it used to drive my teammates crazy back when I played but being primarily a pitcher (with small hands) it didn't matter. Also nice overview of the EX-10

I bought my son an EX-10 for Christmas to replace his old DP-15. He already games 44Pro for his outfield and pitching gloves, but never liked the infield 44's he tried previously. I think he will like the EX-10 though as I can tell a difference between it and the 574 and Signature Series infield models we have. I appreciate your review comparing it to the Wilson.

My 10 y/o son just got his 44 1st base mitt. Such a great company, especially for younger travel ball players. $155 on sale for a custom glove he got to design. Amazing.
I have two 44s. One standard stiffness with Kip liner add on, one pro stiffness with standard sheepskin liner.
The pro stiffness actually had more palm padding and the finger loops felt thicker as well.
Definitely go pro stiff

I'm breaking in an Ex-10 12" for third base, two in the pinky. No issues with the pocket/ball slippage. Really liking it.

only dislike for the EX-10 is the thumb welting goes into the wrist, not into the binding like the A2K. would look a lot cleaner

I have a quick question about breaking in a glove I have a light blue rawlings heart of the hide with black laces an I am wondering if the black coloring will seep onto the blue aswell I am concerned as there is some half leather half mesh part of the shell and are concerned about putting water on that

I’ve never seen leather from that company that ages well. While a Wilson, Rawlings, and some other custom brands form a patina, this leather not only fades but washes out , ruining the look of the gloves.
Yeah, that’s especially bad when they only do customs so 85% of their gloves are wild and colorful
@@apajdbro9222 I know I’m not BGK but I’ve had my 44 for 2-3 months and the laces are fine floppy and aged but fine 2 of my teammates have 44s that are way older than mine and their laces are fine you can tell they aren’t re laces because of the color fade on the laces

Id go with the pro stiff
Between my two sons and me we now have 7 gloves from 44Pro. We have ordered pro stiff in all but one of them. I would recommend the pro stiff even though it takes a little more break-in work. You get stiffer thumb and pinky inserts with the pro stiff. I will say even between the pro stiff gloves we have some break in easier than others. Our 574 broke in quickly (we did hot water it) and the EX-10 feels like it will be a quick one as well. I've only worked the hinge points some and it has loosened up quite a bit already.

I have the same a2k as the one in the vid. I’m breaking it in according to your video. I have had it for 4 months. When I catch the ball, it goes straight to the web (even though that’s not where I broke in the pocket). I am asking you because u are the best baseball glove you tuber. Please help. Need advice. Or is that normal
man I have an a2000 1786 that seems to suffer from the same issue. I have owned two gg elites that broke in like a freaking dream and trap the ball like a beast backhand, forhand, etc. Been working this wilson the exact same way hoping for a similar break in....but the ball rattles in it alot! Its solid on backhands but forhands the ball literally clanks around before securing. I've played catch 3 days a week for 3 months, and have fielded ground balls every single night off a pitch back literally for 2 months straight and balls still clanking in it on forhands. Im thinking the spin control is just insanely stiff non supple leather that is gonna need a year or so to capture the ball to my liking. im wearing it Two in the pinky. 'Did you ever get your wilson securing the ball to your liking?
@@chadrides914I have now had it for nearly a year and it is a lot better. I’m catching the ball in the pocket 85% of the time. I guess it just takes a while to be fully broken in. How is your glove?
@@OfficialTylerHerro it’s been about seven months now and I’ve played with my spin control Wilson eight 2000 about two days a week and just now is it securely capturing the ball and confident that I could game it. I’m really happy with the glove, but if I have to do it over again, I would not have gotten spin control. It seems like it holds onto dirt and doesn’t wipe clean very easily. Thanks for the reply.

is a 11.75 h web rawlings good for second base and third and a little outfield? needing some advice on if i should use it for 2b
H webs usually have deeper pockets which is why you’ll only see 3rd basemen use the H web but it is a very durable web so for 3rd and outfield yes but not for 2nd. You would want something like an I web, mod V web for example

You have an office at a facility to shoot content and train … the people want you in a men’s league … give the people what they want ! GET OUT THERE … the plays at short with a baseball are way more athletic than the No time to react slo pitch plays … PLUS you’ll be happier 😂… go get em

I love these videos but I have to say, 44 gloves are terrible. Super stiff. Take forever to break in. I know a few kids that have them and haven’t used them because they can’t break them in. Once they finally do break in the leather breaks down quickly and glove doesn’t last.

44 gloves are garbage. Horribly fitting and terrible break-in. Pitchers use them because they don't field the ball; works with 44's marketing gimmick. I have 2 and both are worthless.
Might just be a you problem. I mean I also have two 44s one standard stiff one pro stiff and both broke in nice and fit just fine. I definitely prefer the sheepskin liner to the Kip as I got one of each as well.
Sorry you didn’t like yours but again sounds like a you issue not a blanket 44 issue
@@brettbedard7919 I appreciate the comment but I got Pro Prefs, A2K's, Easton's, Marucci...I bought these for a father and son tourney and everything in the order chain to delivery was awful. My leather guy can't fix them. Have a nice day.
