How do you know that that's a red Texas unfaded male, like how do you actually get to know that its a red Texas when it's still not started fading? Just curious
I think the fading term is more like clear/clearing in Poodles except instead of most actually fading lighter usually (some do darken though) Red Texas start off faded & clear to red if they are going to so once red it should not actually fade except for normal cichlid moods & stress ect.
Um , my guy, at what point would he show a fish, and it would contribute to his point? there wouldn't be a point in showing any fish at all, if you want to see one just look it up.

Can I breed a King Kong parrot with an electric blue Texas cichlid and get the same results ?
Which one is which? If the male is the KK, then I don’t think they’ll be fertile. It’d work, I think. Don’t cite me on it, but it should work.

Means they are hiding there true red color and are either black grey or green then it will fade or peel the color showing its true red
In Poodles they call “fading” as “clear” or “clearing”
Essentially is same thing but the terms may even be more appropriate.

Fish Keeper It is going backwards in the progression. Will likely make almost all trash. Moght get a few good fish if you raise them all out
