Hi, is this 2 arowanas removed from a community tank? I have a community tank 13 arowanas strong. I have noticed at least one pairing of 2 individuals. Could be another pairing but I didn't pay enough attention. So in my case, would it be recommended to remove the two pairing one to another tank?

I believe that separate the eggs from the Male so that they can control the birthing conditions. If they have deformed fish they can cull them out. Also leaving them in a tank with a lot of oxygen prevents the spreading of disease, keeps them moving, and it healthier for the fry. What I don’t get, or is it that it wasn’t shown, but how are the eggs fertilized? Does the Male spread his sperm over the eggs or what? Because without his sperm they won’t be fertile and all die.
