I just finished watching this and want to add a bit. I used to LOVE this channel and the MMA Beat
and watch it religiously. I was happy and sad when u were going to leave. I hanged around for a while but the channel was not the same. Many if not most followed after and this channel was close to dying. U brought it back up to life and u are extremely valuable.

I get what Ariel is saying, but Dana is saying that if Tyson comes to the UFC he would make the fight happen, it's different than letting one of his fighters go to boxing under their banner. Dana would've done the same thing if Anthony Joshua wanted to fight Ngannou in the octagon, while he was still in the UFC.
The thing is he did that before when Randy Couture fought a boxer in MMA.

Its pretty simple as a business decision though. You do not want your fighters going to boxing and getting beat up. Which will make them look kind of bad. Tyson and Jones in mma is a gigantic fight. Francis and Joshua in boxing is meh. These two fights are on completely different levels.
Tyson has no professional or amateur MMA experience. Why is that a gigantic fight? Do you mean it will bring in lots of PPVs, cause that's what gimmicky fights aim to do?
Tyson and Jones in mma is gigantic for under 1 minute, unless Jones decides to play with his food.
It comes down to this. If a boxer ever mentions that they are the best fighter in the world they have to back it up by fighting mma. A boxing champ is the best boxer in the world but that in no way even puts them in the top 100 of best “fighter” in the world. A wrestler with a purple belt will beat the best boxer in the world 99 out of 100 times. Tyson Fury claiming he could beat up any top ten mma fighter in a mma fight is where this stems from. Jon Jones is not ever claiming he is better boxer than any professional boxer. Boxers just their panties in a bunch when mma fighters tell them what reality is.

Ariel is constructed bashing Dana and business choices made by the UFC all because he has a vendetta against Dana and beef with him. I'd argue he's doing a disservice to the sport he covers and claims to love so much, by constantly bashing them. It's a little bit like if you claimed to be a big supporter of a Nascar driver but constantly bashed the mechanics that work on the car he drives. Us hardcore fans see it for what it is, but if i was a newer UFC fan and tuned into this show and every week hearing the president of the UFC being bashed and Ariel constantly bashing the UFC for promotional choices or fights they did or didn't make. It's just a gross feeling. Ariel has been especially hateful the past few months too. Even as someone who's always loved the show, I've been finding Ariels negativity lately to be getting a bit much.

In all fairness, Dana always welcomed the boxers coming over to UFC and is against his guys going over to boxing. Hence, no hypocrisy.
You got kicked out of the UFC so now you can't go to events. You then try to pivot coverage to your fake soap operas and get into WWE and then UFC buys it so you can't go to those events either. Stick with your TH-camr boxing jobs, it's more your speed.
